regular installation (no t-harness), firmware and software update with guide standards. successful programming in last step (blue blink key on).

\this vehicle has immo delete (metal key blade starts)

now when trying to program remotes no brake input detected to perform remote programming.

performed reset and even went as so far to swap evo one units. am i using wrong firmware or hardwire brake input?

Neither THAR-AUD1 nor THAR-AUD2 lists the 2017 TDI Key port as compatible; however the EVO-ONE lists Q5 2017 as compatible. I have a 2017 Audi Q5 B8.5 2.0 TDI Ultra , automatic transmission with CNHA engine code (sold Outside US) and I would like to buy a EVO-ONE with the correct harness for my vehicle.

Do I have to buy a THAR-AUD1 or THAR-AUD2 harness separate to the EVO-ONE for 2017 Audi Q5 B8.5 2.0 TDI Ultra, automatic transmission with CNHA engine code ?

Looking for a module for 2007 ram 2500 diesel that has adjustable crank and wait to start times.

Initially installed the evo all with t harness. It doesn't have an option that waits long enough to start, also cranks too long making the starter drag.

J'ai installé un evo-all sur mon Silverado 1500 diesel 3.0l en mars 2023. Depuis ce temps il fonctionne tres bien .Mais depuis le debut du temps froid il fonctionne mois bien .C'est a dire que aussitot que la temperature dessend en bas de -10C il tente de demarrer, le moteur tourne 2-3 secondes et s'eteind . il répete 2 fois la meme tentative et les lumieres flash 2 fois a la fin du cycle. j'ai pensé que le probleme venait de EVO ALL . j'ai changé le module et refait la programmation il y a 1 semaine. Resultat, j'ai exactement le meme probleme. j'ai comme l'impression que le module EVO ALL ne détecte pas que le moteur est démarré. C'est peut etre a cause que le moteu est diesel? pouvez-vous m'aider SVP.( Quand le moteur est chaud il fonctionne super bien )

I will be need your help.
I have a car Mitsubishi pajero sport 2013 year with diesel engine.
And need used to remote star Evo One.
But any conect diagram not working with program bypass system, and i tride any version firmware 74 86 and last 0.99(now light all colour led) for programing module.
I seen what use evo all for working with this car, i think what Evo One will be working too.
And i used 7 from 8 programing module.
With 74 and 86 software i have a problem programing when turn ignution is onn but blue light is power off and all, i cheked connect to can wire connect several times.

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Diesel that I want to intall a remote start in using 3X lock function.

Im going to use an evo one but I saw on the forum there is an additional clutch wire that needs to be installed? also it has to be programmed to manual mode and a sequence has to be followed in order to put it in ready mode.

Is there any documenation covering the additional clutch bypass wiring because it is not mentioned in the installation manual of the truck.

Will putting it in ready mode need me to press the lock button 3x instead of just one because I wont have an rf kit installed?

Any other relevant information that is different from a automatic transmission install would be helpful as well.

Problem with EVO-ONE

Hello everyone
I buy and connect my evo-one this instruction and programming
But i have some problems and questions with this product.
I used this instruction

1. On Flashlink manager show recommended firmware 76.31 but on pdf instruction 76.60 (only works 76.31 on 76.60 not programming)
2. On my car i select diesel mode and 6 minutes running but only work 4 minutes
3. Diesel mode function 18, Delay between ignition power up and starter mode not working. ( Work without delay )
4. My big problem. When the remote started after 4 minutes engine shut down and open my car trunk.

2013 Touareg 3.0 TDI, unit programs fine however when 3x lock the vehicle dash lights up but no crank. I triple checked PIN2 of the BCM connector for the brake lights as directly across in PIN18 is the same color wire, also with a test light at the module it lights up with ign on and pressing the brake pedal. I assume its an option in the module that needs changing.

first install was with thar-aud1 that didnt work ignition didnt come on and it was asking to remove key from ignition

second install was wire to wire installation worked fine could program the key ect. tried remote start ignition comes on but no start at first ign on if i touch the brake it would stall soon after at second ign on (on same remote start attempt) it keeps running. verified yellow/red wire to black/red wire all seems ok. i got 12v at black/red if i touch the brake. at one time while trying car start even if yellow/red was connected.

car is a diesel if that matters.

Hi, I"m Looking at adding the fortin Evo all to my truck and i wanted to confirm two things. Firstly when i go to flash the module it says for the T harness THAR-GM5 but fortin gives you instructions for the t harness THAR-GM7 and theres not option to select the GM7 only the 5 could i still use the 7 and flash it as the 5. My second question is do i still need two keys to program or would i be able to just use one

i have the evo-all chrt 4 T harness have it flashed with the newest firmwhere and followed the instructions on splicing the yellow wires together and plugging everything in. the first time i used it it worked flawlessly.

but now every once and awhile after sitting like when i get out of work, and trigger the remote start, it keep hitting the starter, like it will crank the engine half a turn and stop, then hit the starter again, and again, and again, and then finally crank the enigne over and start. I am afraid this is going to damage the starter.

is this possibly a bad module or flash... i hooked it back up to my pc and all settings are correct.

i have a 2007 2500 diesel with a manual transmission, i have the OEM key programmed but when i go to Remote start, all i hear is a relay click 3 times...also everytime i press the lock button on the key, the blue light is lighting up....

i have to make the comment, that when i program the EVO-ONE on flashlink, the "settings" that are saved on the EVO-ONE shows different than the ones i have programmed/saved. is there a "lockout" or something that i must do?

for instance: i saved the turbo timer to be on for 4 minutes on the fortin flashlink, when i check to see "current settings," it shows that it is off. and so forth.

I have a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Diesel. Remote start works fine but when I unlock the door with the key fob and then open the door it shuts down the engine. After researching my options for a manual transmission I've determined the EVO-ONE coupled with the THAR-CHR6 was the best configuration for a stand alone system retaining original smart tip key. (Please correct if there is another option) According to another Q&A discussion regarding a RAM 3500 manual diesel, it was mentioned by Antoine Marion that a "clutch switch wire" has to be connected. After referring to Guide # 98581 for the EVO-ONE I did not find any information regarding the clutch switch. Shouldn't this be handled through CAN bus or does it need the clutch wire bonded with an output on the EVO-ONE?

I have an Evo-All installed in my 2010 F-350 diesel. It does not seem to function properly. It never flashes park lights, nor does it turn on heated seats and mirrors when it is -20degrees outside. Also, the factory alarm will set off at random when the alarm system (Viper) sends an unlock command.

Is this a known issue or do I have a faulty device?

My 2017 ram Cummins doesn't delay the start even in freezing cold temperatures. Everything is turned on and up-to-date. The diesel mode is turned on. Now I will say the truck doesn't have any trouble starting, but I'm worried about the long-term effects of starting it before the preheat cycle finishes.

I did my own tests back to back mornings and used the key one day, and the dash displayed the engine preheat countdown. The next day I watched from outside the vehicle and did the remote start and as soon as the dash lights came on the truck, it starts. It does not even display the preheat countdown on the dash when it definitely should have (30 degree ambient temps).

I see in the settings there is a "20s" option. That's all the information it gives...I'm wondering if that's a 20 second delay option? If so I think that would be enough time to pre-heat the engine..at least where I live (central NC).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the fortin evo and the flash shows it's at 30 min on my diesel. When I remote start it with mycar, it will start at 30 and immediately drop to under 15 min. I let the truck run and it shut off after 15 min. What's wrong?

j'ai tenté a plusieur reprisede configurer , le evo-one pour qu'il crank plus longtemps , parlé deja a une personne au telephone me disant de selectionner le mode 20.5 8 second cranking , mais selectionner ou pas , le crank est d'environ 2 seconde et arrete , parfois 1 sur 5 le moteur parvient a demarrer, comment je fais pour pouvoir avoir au moin 5 seconde de cranking , tout le cablage est ok , le ready go est ok juste la programmation qui bug , comme si meme je change les parametre ca fait rien quoi faire ?

I installed the same kit acouple of years ago in a similar truck and did not have this issue with the over crank. I saw a previous question that says this issue is normal. Is it possible to go back to a previous firmware version as I dont not want to cause unnecesary wear and damage to my truck.

Have the EVO-ONE and FLASH-LINK 4.

Couple of things:

1. Want to set up for remote start with factory key (lock 3x). Do I have to add a RF-KIT to this? If not, do I have to choose one in setup? In Wizard mode, seems to force you to pick a RF-KIT.

2. Truck is a diesel. Found the Pro Mode in settings. Is there anything special regarding Tach or any other settings for diesels that I need to change?

3. The install guide recommends version 70.26. It default wants to install 70.18. When I go to look at other available firmwares, it does not offer 70.26 as an option. (70.28 is the closest). Any reason to not install the latest firmware (70.39 is the highest at the time I write this).

On the website it says remote start is only supported for years 2003 and older. Would remote start work on the 2001 using the EVO ONE and the 2003 guide and just hooking up the wires as found on here?

Hello i have a 2006 dodge ram 2500 5.9 cummins. I just got the EVO-CHRT5 kit for remote start only and tried installing it as per instructions and nothing worked. I found a youtube video where some plugged the t-harness in and spliced the two yellow wires together and spliced the purple wire with the green/red from the 20 pin connection. the truck horn cherps, and fuel pump turns on but gauge cluster wont work and truck wont turn on. I have the flash like and updated it with the newest version and activated the d.1 setting for diesel trucks. Any help would be much appricated.

Evo all with t harness, works great when warm, it will wait and dash lights come on and then it wont even attempt to crank then turn off try a 2nd attempt and same result. In diesel mode set to 14 mins updated to most recent software.

When you request engine start with either the remote or the external activation wire it will not start, only when you hold the brake pedal will it engage. Once the engine is started, engine will not shut down with brake pedal or external activation wire.
