Is the 2018 caravan compatible with the A4 option to automatically engage the rear defrost upon remote start?

The Flashlink user guide says " Will only work on vehicles that support heated seats and Rear defrost control trough the vehicles CAN-Bus."

The install instructions for this vehicle dont specify any wiring for CAN Bus. ( as the 2017 ram 1500 does )

I installed an EVO-ALL on a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. Standalone with T-harness. Remote start works correctly when pressing the lock button 3 times on OEM remote. Added a RFK912 antenna kit, and it will not activate remote start. The antenna recognizes the key press on the remote, but the van will not start. Only thing it does is unlock the doors twice, ignition never even turns on. Both modules have the newest firmware available.

On 2003 dodge grand caravan evo all connection diagram there are three connections fron ignition connector to remote starter not to evo all. Are they necessary because i am using a compustar revo witch has only 4 pin data link connection. So where do I connect the starter wire from my car to evo all 20 pin. Thanks

Vehichle won't stay running. I have updated it and used C1 and D1 enabled. If I bypass the key it will stay running but that would be a annoying having to lock the van two times to turn the engine off. I have the hood part installed and the yellow wire hooked up too. The OEM key does everything else I just wanted the remote start.

I am trying to setup my crimestopper RS4-G5 to have a second start wire to control my relay and mux resistor. I can not get my crimestopper to go into program mode. I turn the key on and hit the program button 5 times with no success. Any ideas?

Being the EVO-ALL can not be used as a Stand-Alone unit it requires an additional remote start system to start the vehicle. Can I use the EVO-ONE to accomplish the immobilizer and start feature on a 2003 Dodge Caravan?

I have installed a EVO-CHRT4 on my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. I did not connect the lights or the hood switch. Yellow wire have been joind together from the harness to the 20 pin. All steps of the program went good. When I hit the lock remote 3x nothing happens.

I installed the EVO-CHRT4 unit in my 2016 Grand Caravan with no issues, but now my Headlights are always on when the car is running. The Headlight Switch does not work and does not even light up as it should at night. My install was just the T harness with no additional modifications. Never even touched the Headlight Switch. Any idea what's going on? All help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2008 Dodge Gand Caravan SE and I am following the guide #5131

Most of the wires are connected to from the remote starter to the evo-all. (Without Data Link)

wires that are not connected to the evo-all are:

Pink/black-hood status (not connected, remote starter hood status wire and switch connected directly to vehicle hood, vehicle does not have a factory hood switch)

orange/black- sliding door right (not equipped on vehicle)

orange- sliding door left ( not equipped)

white- trunk status ( not available on remote starter)

Everything else is connected!

I got the wiring colors from wirecolor.com, and the Can High wire has different colors compared to the guide?

I followed the fortin guide NOT the wirecolor.com.

starter wire red/blue (evo-all) connected to purple (starter output-starter side) thicker guage wire from my remote starter wire.

ignition-yellow wire (evo-all), Comm2-yellow/red (evo-all) connected to remote starter ignition 1 wire (thick guage wire) connected to cut wire red/white vehicle side immobilizer connecter.

grey/black-Can 2 Low (evo-all) connect to white/light blue vehicle immobilizer wiring harness

grey-Can 2 High (evo-all) connected to white/grey vehicle immobilizer wiring harness

Yellow/blue-NO2 (evo-all) connected to light blue/ red of the vehicle immobilizer harness

yellow/green NC2 (evo-all) connected to cut wire connector side of vehicle immobilizer harness

I followed the programming procedures in the guide, the blue led does not flash after step 3 ( IGN ON RUN)

the blue led just turns off .

when I proceed with step 4 (IGN OFF) blue led turns turns back on like in step 1.

i have tried to remote start, the remote starter works and hear its internal relays, with confirmaton on remote key fob.

Vehicle does not start? I do not know if the Evo-All is programmed or not?

Installing 2 units on a 2012 & 2016 Dodge Grand caravan, i am using guide #12971

1) do I need the relay when connecting the siren, can I just tie the siren +12v to the battery and use A4 - output to activate the siren, the way the horn does/

2) for an armed led i can use A5 ?

3) does the valet switch prevent the alarm from arming, or only prevent remote starting?

4) I want to use the EVO all as a starter and alarm so any programming steps I need to do would be helpful

i hope to get the 2 units next week but I am trying to get everything I need for programming, any guides would be appreciated.

I cut the yellow wire on the T-harness and splced the yellow-green wire to it. Unit appears to program prperly. When I try and start it runs for 2 to 3 seconds and then shuts down. It does then try and re-start. Also to clarify, does 2010 or less mean 2010 and newer models? The verbage is very confusing. Any ideas?

Blue light goes out but does not flash when turning on ignition. Yellow wire connected together. Directions from other troubleshooting say the bus wires are are reversed. Do I modify the t-harness to fix this problem? I have the programmer and ref lashed the unit.

Just a heads up,I was using a Evo-chrt4 with a compustar 7000 on a 2014 caravan with firmware 74.24 and something from the evo-all was latching the ignition output on the compustar:

Yellow wire from t-harness functions properly as ignition.

with only the evo and harness plugged in ignition funtions normally.

with only the compustar and harness plugged in everything functions normally

with the evo plugged in and only the main harness (not the 4 pin data cable) on the compustar plugged in everything functions normally, plug in the 4 pin data cable and as soon as ignition is turned on it latches and theres a single click coming from the compustar at regular intervals and would require disconnecting starter brain to stop it, tried a 7200 brain with the same results.

roll evo frimware back to 74.22 and everything functions perfectly

seems to have programmed, won't remote start

Hi, I was installing my CHRT-4 today and followed the instructions to the letter as well as a video on youtube (which matched the directions) once installed and programming, I got the rapid flashing blue LEDs as if all was programmed. I then tried to remote start the van but it doesn't do anything. I tried repeating the process with the same result... suggestions?

Before tearing into my Dash I've been cautiously reading about the connectors and bypasses and everything and not sure I have evertying I need. I've got the harness fixed with the proper wires cut and spliced. (yellow from the 20-pin to the yellow coming out of the harness and yello/green from the red connector to yellow between the T) so I think I'm ready. But now I'm reading about the Sentry Key Imobilizer that will shut off the engine if the key isn't detected and see in the owner's manual that it states "The Sentry Key Immobilizer system is not compatible with some after-market remote starting systems. Use of these systems may result in vehicle starting problems and loss of security protection." Will this product bypass that Sentry Key Immobilizer system and allow the remote start to work?

Is the factory horn trigger from the horn switch data on this vehicle now? Wirecolor.com only shows positive (+) to trigger the factory horn right off the horn(s) or TIPM. Could you please verify that there is really no negative (-) horn trigger from the steering column on this vehicle at all?

My next question then is... could the EVO-ALL (Alarm Enabled) horn output (green wire) be set to constant instead of pulse to be able to hook up an aftermarket siren? I Didn't see any options on the flashlink program.

Hi there.

I am installing EVO ALL to my 2008 Grand Caravan, i went with "Stand alone" option.

with my flashlink updater cable, I have updated frimware, I have chosen all the required options in fashlink manager....

Then, I saw "Dcryptor" in the manager. ?It sounds that this function is used to copy a key.

Aftter some research, i still could not find answers to my questions:

Q1, for just remote starting my car, do I HAVE TO run "dcryptor" process? without running it, am i able to start the car by pressing 3X lock?

Q2, if I don't have to, then what is the use of running it ? only for clone a FOB?for just to make programming easier? or anything else?

Q3, if I have to, then do I have to connect the module to the Car first, then disconnec it from the car and then bring it back to my computer, do the dcryptoring?

Q4, what does running "dcryptor" make difference?

Q5, I was told that from the 20 pin connector, i ONLY need to connect the yellow wire to igition wire, NO OTHER?wires are needed to be connected(even the parking light), is that true?

2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT

OK I did the install on a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan and every thing seemed OK, I do have one question, when remote starting all lights come on Headlamps, tail lamps, parking lamps, license plate lamp and the fog lamps, (if the fog lamps were turn on before.) (this is with the switch completely off)

This happened even before I tapped in the Green/White parking lamp circuit. Everything else works fine, hood switch and brake pedal turns off the remote start.

After putting in the key and turning to the run position, the lights stay on till I push the brake pedal to put it in gear and then the lights shut off.

disconnecting the parking lamp circuit does not change anything. On remote start all the light still come on.

I used a EVO-CHRT4 # 001A06 319593 Version 74.14

I installed an EVO-ALL with the T-Harness in Standalone mode in a 2013 Grand Caravan. It works great except for one minor issue. After remote starting the vehicle, when I get in with it still running and put the key in and turn it to run, the tire pressure warning message lights in the information display briefly, then disappears. I installed the latest firmware on the EVO-ALL. Has anyone else seen this and what, if anything, can be done about it. Thanks in advance.
