Evo All not recognizing request to lock or unlock from aftermarket starter

For my 2014 Ford Fusion, looking to use the Evo All FOR3 to receive signals from a module to lock and unlock my doors. I'm using a wire to wire connection, and tested the signal at the 20 pin connector to the evo, and it's receiving the negative pulse from the aftermarket module to lock and unlock, yet nothing is happening.

When using the setup wizard on the updater, I'm advised to use firmware 4.01, and when using pro to adjust locking settings if that's necessary, I'm advised to use firmware 71.57, though I'm unable to complete the programming process with the latter firmware. The blue led does not flash rapidly when I turn the key to on, just stays solid blue. Does anyone think they'd be able to help with this?

I can remote start it perfectly fine but as soon as an open a door the alarm goes off no matter if the I spam the unlock button before opening.

Hello, I have a 2016 Subaru Impreza with a Compustar alarm and an Evo-All module. Everything works fine while the vehicle is off. lock, unlock, trunk, etc. But when I use the remote start, the vehicle unlocks the doors to disarm the alarm and starts normally, then the lights flash as if it's locking again, but it doesn't. If I press the lock button on the Compustar remote, the vehicle's lights flash as if it's locking, but nothing happens. However, if I use the original remote, it locks properly. It seems that the Evo-All module isn't responding when the car is running. I've been having this problem lately with Subarus when using a Compustar remote start and an Evo-All module. What can I do? 2024 Chevy 3500 Push Start Gas - Evo One with the harness. I installed the Evo One for 2 reasons, remote start (that is working with no issue) and for the lock/unlock pulse wires. I am trying to have the lock and unlock pulse wires operate a DEI 451M relay to be able to operate reverse polarity actuators that will be installed on the locking mechanism on the doors of the truck's service body. While testing, if I ground out the lock and unlock wires of the 451M, it will operate the actuators as desired so I know the 451M is working properly. When the lock and unlock wires are tied together between the 2 devices, nothing. TIA

Hi, I have an EVO-One with RFK442 installed on my 2013 Impreza (automatic) following the wiring diagrams on guide #97471. I can't use the RF kit's remote to lock/unlock the doors after the car is started. Looks like the unit is still receiving the signals though, the parking lights and antenna LED flashes accordingly when I press the buttons on the remote. The remote lock and unlock just fine when the car isn't running.

A3 2009 when remote started, lock/unlock is not working with remote, can only unlock with the key in the door.

I installed my EVO-One and was trying to program it to see the keys and this is when i first noticed that the evo was not seeing the inputs from the factory key lock and unlock, luckily i was able to get around it by starting the car with the key, and it accepted it, so further down the road i now have it fully programmed and installed, i turned on the feature that when you start the car and step on the brake it locks the doors, which it does, then when you shut the car down the doors unlock, which it also does, so the Evo is able to control the locks fully, but it is unable to see the command from the car, do i have to have a seperate remote because i really don't wish for that, am i missing something? like i said it sees the car start, it sees it shut down it controls the locks fully, but when i push the button the evo doesn't respond to the inputs at all. is it a setting that i messed with by accident?

Hello, I installed Evo One Lte in my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport PTS. The Evo start works great via the Cell app but i cant get the factory remote to start the car. Also, the cell app WILL NOT operate the door lock/ unlock. The list says 3 locks will start and stop remote start, but i cant get it to work. Not sure if its my fault or If factory fobs will not work on this vehicle

2014 Silverado 1500. Standard key, with Onstar. Programmed properly. Starts, runs, confirmation from remote on lock & unlock. The issue I'm having is with single press of lock button, truck locks 3 times and single press of unlock button, truck unlocks twice.

Lock/Unlock doesnt work when ignition is on but works fine with ignition off.

Just installed an Evo one and T harness on my 06 Tacoma V6 auto. The lock/unlock functions work fine when the ignition is off from the Fortin remote. Remote start works fine as well but won't lock/unlock once the ignition is on. I verified lock/unlock also doesn't work when the ignition is on with just the key. The door lock switch still works fine with the ignition on. I can hear the Evo pulse the locks and the marker lights flash, but the locks do nothing when using the Fortin remote. I got the unit as a kit online with RF 642w remotes preprogrammed. The bypass was below the recommended firmware, so I updated it with my Flash link to 79.70. Remote start was at recommended level. I tried lengthening the lock pulse with no change.

Hello, I recently installed the Evo One LTE USA. The oem remote works fine to remote start the vehicle but anything to do with the evo start module won't work. It shows the doors being unlocked and opened, battery voltage, and temperature. I configured the RF kit as the Evo Start 2 when flashing my Evo One, could that be the issue? I also could not find a wiring diagram anywhere on either of your websites which would probably help me. I could only find the wiring diagram for the canadian version with the antenna.

Vehicle is a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Using Gm7 T-harness.

Vehicle locks itself after couple of seconds, when I exit.

I installed Evo-one with RFK411 on my 2012 Subaru Impreza Standard key manual transmission. Everything works fine but When I exit the vehicle after parking following the ready mode sequence:

Vehicle keeps running even when I take the key off of the ignition barrel and it shuts off only when I shut the door after exiting.

Is it possible to turn off the vehicle with the key without exiting the door?

The door locks itself after couple of seconds.

Is it possible to keep the vehicle unlocked when I exit even after the ready mode is activated. and I should have to lock it manually form the remote? Incase I forget the keys in the car.

P.S. : I've read Active and Passive Alarm and starter kill function. Is there anything to do with that?

Installed EVO-ALL on 2006 RAM 2500 Diesel using CHRT5 in standalone mode. OEM key works with 3-lock remote start. Added RM-441 remote kit and updated settings with flash updater. OEM key still works. RM-441 will start the truck but not lock or unlock. Lights flash red or blue on EVO when pushing the buttons. Do I have some setting wrong or is it required to hardwire the purple and pur/wht wires to something and if so to what?

standart options of Wizard of problems have been fixed by other options changed. When remote start working time , keyless works but Why does not work unlock button of on the remote and does not open mirrors?

Then Why Evo All is waiting active until to press 3X lock button ? ( is draining to battery)

Got almost everything working. Remote start via OEM fob and remote start via My Car app. In the my car app I can not lock or unlock. I have tried the pairing process several time but I'm not sure the MyCar is paired. I press ingition on off on then the brake 4 times.

2010 Subaru Impreza, Compustar CM7000 alarm and remote start, EVO-ALL in data mode. Each time I use the Compustar remotes the vehicle locks/arms then immediately unlocks the doors leaving alarm on. Tried different CM7000 and EVO-All. Both of the Compustar remotes acting same way. The vehicle locks and unlocks doors,flashes lights and beeps OE beeper multiple times with each press. I have GMC Yukon 2006, I installed EVO all and excalibur X70-b, when start a vehicle by OEM remote or OMEGA remote all doors not locked when I shift a gear however when I start a vehicle by key as a normal starting all doors locked normally.

I have an EVO-ONE with T-Harness and EVO-START-2 RF kit installed. The door lock data is connected from EVO-ONE to vehicle harness. The Android app communicates with the car.

Using the app to REMOTE UNLOCK the car works fine and flashes the parking lights

The LOCK command from the app flashes the parking lights, but DOES NOT REMOTE LOCK the car.

Any ideas?

Hi, I installed an Evo All with NIST1 to an Infiniti G35 2007 with PTS and an RFK441 kit. The car will remote start with the RFK441 remote, but I cannot get it to unlock or lock the doors. Any ideas what is going on or what I could check? I can see the lights on the Evo and RF Antenna light up when I press the lock and unlock buttons, and the Parker lights also light up as well. Car: 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Push-To-Start

Evo-One stand alone: Latest firmware ( 76.65 ) with recommended settings for both the bypass and remote starter sections. Using OEM remote 3x lock button for starting.

I've been having what seemed like a random issue where remote starting the car would intermittently cause the trunk to release. Have now figured out the scenario that causes it, and not sure if there's any setting options currently that would apply

The recommended settings have the "Unlock before/relock after start" for OEM alarm disarming enabled as it's required. But if the fob is within range of the rear hatch RF antenna when the Evo does the unlock/lock sequence, it causes the trunk to release. The hatch actuator is likely being told to open on every start, but it will only do so if it detects the fob.

I've verified this is not an oddity of the car, as standing next to the rear hatch and hitting the unlock button on the fob does not pop the trunk, only the trunk button on the fob or pressing the physical release button on the hatch will open it. That implies an additional CAN message is being sent by the Evo to control the trunk in addition to one for the doors.

I would assume this message is supposed to be one that unlocks it rather than open it, but I don't think this trunk actuator has a lock/unlock function. As it will only open with the trunk button on the fob, or when the physical button on the hatch is pressed and the fob is within range. Effectively meaning it's always locked.

Any known settings that could change this behaviour? If not, possible chance of a fix via firmware update?

I installed Evo-All on a 2014 Jetta (standalone).

001A07363467. By pressing 3 times, the engine starts, but the factory remote control does not close the door or open it. It extinguishes by extinguishing, but the pauses between presses should not be less than 2 seconds. The blue LED flashes erratically between presses.

I had EVO ONE working fine with the factory key fob then I added Fortin RFK942. I have 2 issues now.

First, the factory key fob does not work anymore.

Second, I remote start the car using RFK942 and the doors were left open after the car remote-started. Even, when I lock the doors using RFK942 it automatically opens them. The issue keeps going until the car takes over and is ready to drive.

The car is Camry 2022 standard key (not push to start). Used Thar-ONE-TOY14 harness.

I highly appreciate it if someone can help me with this problem.

I recently installed a EVO-One in my 2011 Honda CRV using the T-Harness. It unlocks the doors and starts the car just fine using an RF kit. But it doesnt lock the doors after and once the engine is on the OEM fob and the RF kit doesnt lock or unlock the doors.

Is there an option I can activate to tell my Evo All to ignore the input from the door keypad? I would like the fob to be the only option when remote starting the car.

Should this not be possible, is there anyway the system can be changed from starting with Lock being pressed three times to starting with Unlock, followed by two lock combination.

Worked correctly for a year and a half. Recently it will not start with one flash after sitting for a couple hours. Also, the remote start shuts off with unlock signal and all doors closed, but will start just fine remote started with door open. Went over all power and ground connections, made with butt connectors, moved grounds, no issues found.

Installed an evoall and tbvw in 2016 Golf. door locks don't lock or unlock while car is running. Factory remote will shut off the car via lock unlock lock. Can evoall unlock the doors without adding a complete starter unit?

Or can a relay be added and hardwire unlock?

I installed the evo-all along with fortin t-harness in a 2016 Cadillac ATS. I double checked im on the correct firmware and all options seem to be correct. The issue im having is the door locks will lock and unlock on their own. This will happen while driving or even when the car is parked. It happens all the time. I uninstalled the evo-all setup and the issue is now completely gone so it was something to do with the evo-all. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hi, I have and Mazda3 2019 (with push start and presence key) and installed an Evo One + Thar-One-Maz5 + Evo Start2.

Everything works fine, except the lock status on the app is not correct - when I leave the car it auto-locks (because I'm taking the key with me), and if I check in the app it shows as unlocked. If i send a lock command, the command is sucessfull and the status changes to locked. Going back to the car, I'm able to unlock it by just touching the handle as usual.

I'm not sure if this info is useful, but during the setup I first forgot to connect the yellow wire between Evo Start2 and Evo One and paired both like this. When I noticed it was not working, I've checked all again, found the error, connected the yellow wire and paired again. The remote start by the app worked then, just left with the issue in the lock status.

The rf kit will lock and remote start but not unlock doors. Factory remote works fine with the 3x to start

3 wird thing happening related to door locking.

1-When car running... unlocking door by touching the handle, we have to be realy realy quick to press the start botton (almost impossible), if not fast enough the car stop. But by pressing unlock to get in, it is ok.

2- Can not leave the car running any more when exiting with the key...

3- If you get out of the car when running and forget the key in the car... The car stop and look your key in the car (usually the car detect the key in the car and do not lock the doors)

Hello. Installing Evo-All into a 2014 Chevy Cruze with regukar key. Now, when unlocking the car with the factory remote, the doors relock one second later. It's not consistent but is happening frequently. 3x factory remote start function works fine. I can only test this with the engine off because the factory remotes are disabled during remote start (I know this is normal).

I have the alarm settings turned off (tried it both ways) and also turned off the smart relocking feature. Firmware is correct. Looking for any advice

I Just instaled the Evo-All and Evo-Start 2, the install was very straightforward, no problem using Decrypter. The car Locks, Unlocks and Starts via 3x LOCK on OEM Fob, and it starts from the App, however doors wont lock or unlock via App.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps I should try? The Evo-Start recieves the command but nothing happens on the car side.

After starter times out, the doors can not be unlocked using interior door lock buttons?

I installed the GMT4 in my GMC Sierra that has manual door locks. The truck shuts off when the key is inserted into the ignition because there is no unlock pulse. Can I turn of that feature on this system? I also have the RFK411 installed with the evo all.

Two problems I'm gathering. When I press unlock, the ignition turns on about 2-3 seconds and no unlock action. When I press lock, I hear clicking from evo but no lock action. Also, when rem starting with the truck locked, it sets off the alarm. Evo-all with FORTIN FOR4 T-harness using linkr LT 2

2006 Toyota Corolla doesn't have a central locking system but it does have elcetric door locks, is there a way to use the EVO ONE to control lock and unlock? The cables are diffrent then what is shown in "Color wire", color wire says there are two cables in a blue connector, one for unlock and one for lock but mine doesnt have those cables. I found a Toyota Bullitin for adding an oem central locking and it talks about a red wire in the same blue connector that has to be inturrupted but controls both lock and unlock. Thanks
