FACTORY ALARM COMES ON

I installed the device on my car 2010 Chrysler Town & Country (Guide # 94291 EVO-CHRT4)

and the device works fine, but there are two problems:

1-When I start the car with the OEM remote 3x lock, the horn/alarm comes ON.

2-When the engine is turned off from the OEM remote the car dashboard screen and the radio remain on

	any thoughts on fixing that??????

Note: I only connected T-HARNESS EVO-CHRT4 without any other wires to car

	Hi

In Guide # 94291 for 2010 Chrysler Town & Country there is a wire (D1 Yellow/Green (+) IGNITION in 6 PIN CONN) In the drawing it must be connected with Yellow wire in the T-HARNESS EVO-CHRT4 IGNITION BARREL

My question to you is, do I have to connect this wire? because all the people on YouTube have not connected this cable

EVO-CHRT4

Hello,

I'm planning to purchase EVO-CHRT4 for my 2010 RAM 1500 GAS.

I have few questions about the EVO product.

1. Is EVO-CHRT4 the correct product for 2010 RAM 1500 GAS?

2. Do I need Flash-Link Updater even if EVO-CHRT4 is preloaded module?

3. My car does NOT have the RAM Fob keyless entry (Standard Key). Is it OK for programing EVO-CHAR4 module?

4. Guide #94291. Is it corrct guide for 2010 RAM 1500 GAS?

5. I'm planning to add-on RFK411 RF kit for EVO-CHRT4. Is it compatable with EVO-CHRT4?

Thanks.

EVOALL EVO-CHRT4 not programming correctly after installation

Installing an EVO-CHRT 4 in a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup. After initial installation (connection of T-harness), unit does not finish programming procedure correctly. On first attempt during Step 4 of the programming procedure the blue LED remained lit with no flashing after key was turned to ACC and then turned off after turning key to ON/RUN. All lights remained off after turning key to OFF again. Remote start did not work. Repeated steps 1-3 three times with same result on Step 4/5.

After reading through help forums, saw the recommendation to reset the unit in case it had been previously programmed for another vehicle. This was done by programming to the red light on step 2 and then holding the program button until all three lights flashed.

Now, unit performs normally through Steps 1-3 but now flashes all three lights when turning key to ON, and does so more than three times. The continuity was checked with a voltemeter and there is no loss of power or ground on the 4 pin data connector. This isn't surprising considering this only occurred after resetting the unit. My best guess is the firmware was reset as well, but my understanding is that then the lights should only flash three times.

Thank you,

Vehicle won't stay running after the Evo-All start the van, it runs for about 2 seconds. 2011 Dodge Grand caravan

Vehichle won't stay running. I have updated it and used C1 and D1 enabled. If I bypass the key it will stay running but that would be a annoying having to lock the van two times to turn the engine off. I have the hood part installed and the yellow wire hooked up too. The OEM key does everything else I just wanted the remote start.

Evo CHRT4 and RF642W

I have installed Evo CHRT4 in my Grand Caravan 2018 with OEM key and it's working great. The CHRT4 was flashed for RF. I am now trying to install RF642W using RFA2A following steps on installation guide.

As per the last step on installation guide, I did press & release (-) AND press & release (lock) on RF642w fob, but on CHRT4 it did NOT blink RED and BLUE LED, instead the RED, BLUE, YELLOW LEDs stayed solid on. The fob would sound and show green light [after I press & release (-) and press & release (lock)].

The antenna LED fast blinks (BLUE). I checked wires and everything was good. Can someone help me resolve this? Thank you in advance.

Viper smartstart not communicating with EVO ALL

I've installed a VSM350 in my 2008 Grand Cherokee, following the instructions (splice grey wire with black, plug in connector). The VSM350 has been activated by a local dealer and my viper online account is properly set up. I can update GPS information via the smartstart app (this confirms unit is powered up and communicating with the internet properly). I am not able to lock, unlock, or remote start using the app. When I attempt to lock/unlock or start, I receive the message "unlock failed at [time]" I have enabled H4 via flashlink. I live in a major city and the vehicle is parked outside, the issue is not related to cellular coverage; the app reflects that the vsm350 has 4 or 5 bars of signal strength.

I appreciate any suggestions to enable the smartstart to communicate with the evo-all to enable the lock/unlock/remote start.

Thank you

Programming EVO-ALL / CHRT4 with SmartStart VSM350

About a month ago, I successfully programmed and installed an EVO ALL with CHRT4 in a 2008 grand cherokee. The 3x lock would successfully initiate a remote start.

I recently removed the EVO ALL to reprogram it with flasklink to enable H4 (smartstart). Upon reinstalling EVO ALL, I no longer had blue lights. I reprogrammed to the key and got the blue light to illuminate when clicking lock button. I connected the yellow to the yellow for ignition during initial install and that is still the case now. This yellow wire splice is the only wiring i've done outside of installing the CHRT4 harness.

The current issue is that after reinstalling the EVO ALL, I do not get a red light on the EVO ALL after clicking 3x lock. The 3x lock is still enabled in flashlink, in addition to H4 being enabled. EVO ALL was already (and still is) flashed to the latest / best / recommended firmware. Given my inability to remote start with 3x lock before even connecting the smart start, i have left the smart start unplugged until i can resolve the failure to start with 3x lock using the key. I have tried re-flashing the evo-all with latest firmware in flashlink and starting over but am in the same position where i get blue lights but no red, and thus, no remote start using 3x lock.

When vehicle is started via the key in ignition, EVO ALL gets a solid a yellow to indicate the evo-all knows it has ignition.

My question is: What I'm doing wrong or do I not have connected properly to get my red light back after 3x lock so that the vehicle can start. Does H4 prevent use of 3x lock remote start?

I installed the EVO-CHRT4 unit in my 2016 Grand Caravan with no issues, but now my Headlights are always on when the car is running.
evo all avec dodge grand caravan 2008

Merci

Evo-CHRT4 vs Evo-All vs Evo-One

Once installed what is the difference between the Chrt4, ALL, or ONE - besides thE CHRT4 has a T harness?

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Diesel Automatic with the remote start module installed already so I just need the module and harness minimum. I will program it to have glow plug/heater delay and crimestopper REVO enabled with the flasher2. Is there a fee for the crimestopper enableing?

I'd like to add a crimestopper 2way system if my range is bad, but hoping the oem fob will work. There is no way to tell with my cement walls vs the window or not until it's installed. If I have to do 2way I was hoping that it would be able to do both - Have a 2 way at home and carry my oem fob in my pocket for starts when walking out to the truck, or from my office close by. I have a Ram fob Saab fob and don't have room in my pocket for a third fob.

I see the CHRT4 and ALL uses the oem keyfob which I like, can it do 2 way also at the same time as the 3x lock oem fob?

I don't understand stand alone starter vs not - I'm assuming that means the CHRT4 can be used with a 2 way? however... Under optional technology section: The One shows it can have RF (2way) remotes but says it can't do stand alone

What modules can be hooked up to the Evo-One

What external triggers can be hooked up to the CHRT4, can modules be hooked up to the CHRT4 or ALL?

In the bottom check mark section the CHRT4 has NA for remote start so does that mean it can't do 2way, this contradicts the Stand Alone option above?

I see no difference between the CHRT4 and the ALL if I get the THAR-CHR4 T harness. In fact based on contradictory information on the compare screen I see no difference at all between all three models, except price since my truck has the remote start function setup but just needs the module/controller. They all say the will monitor for 3x lock and will start or stop the vehicle. Can you please ellaborate on the differences in detail, including options, modules, triggers, systems, etc that can be added. I'd like to see the whole picture and know which is more future proof/upgradeable as well.

	Thanks for your time,

Having being remote started stops responding to remote unless really near by the car

I got EVO-CHRT4 (with the flashlink, so updated everything to up-to-date at that point) for Chrysler Town & Country 2013 in early Dec 2015, and installed it somewhere mid December 2015. I don't have FW versions from top of my head, and the unit is mounted in the car and it is cold outside ATM (NH).

Originally everything worked out splendidly. But since probably a month ago (I haven't done anything to the car since then, may be washed it once or twice ;) ) I have started to observe that having started the car remotely, the car stops responding to the fob/remote -- I can't unlock the car, or open side doors, anything, UNLESS I come really close to the car, like to the driver's door. I have tried with the 2nd fob/remote -- the same story -- no reaction. What could be the reason? I did recently change battery in one of the remotes. Car does pick up my presses originaly from about 60-100m.

I purchased an EVO-CHRT4 for my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan will I need a bypass for the Sentry Key Imobilizer?

(yellow from the 20-pin to the yellow coming out of the harness and yello/green from the red connector to yellow between the T) so I think I'm ready. But now I'm reading about the Sentry Key Imobilizer that will shut off the engine if the key isn't detected and see in the owner's manual that it states "The Sentry Key Immobilizer system is not compatible with some after-market remote starting systems. Use of these systems may result in vehicle starting problems and loss of security protection." Will this product bypass that Sentry Key Immobilizer system and allow the remote start to work?

Why does the Starter Solenoid chatter when only using the REVO-1 RF kit?

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with the Evo all and the T harness. Along with the standalone 3x factory remote start, i added the REVO-1 RF Kit. Everthing works perfectly fine until the outside temperature drops down to probably 20 to 30 degrees F and colder. If the truck has set for a while, using the Revo, the solenoid will chatter for several seconds before it will eventually start. Now if the truck was just running and shut off or recently running. The second start attempt using the Revo, the truck will start no problem and continue to until it sets awhile in the cold.

Using the factory 3x remote, no issues no matter the temperature. The REVO also will work just fine when temperatures start to rise.

2010 challenger starter cut in/out during cranking

Installed prostart ct3471-tw in 2010 dodge charger, auto, key start, with EVO-CHRT4, power and ground both units through d2d/t-harness. Ground with 1.67k resistor for parking lamps. Using Fortin protocol on bypass and remote start. door locks and trunk release work well. programmed bypass and prostart as usual, tach through bypass. tach programmed good. Modify T- harness as per diagram A- cut yellow wire in T between connectors, connect D1 ylw grn to cut yellow wire,Vehicle remote starts normally most of time, occasionally when cranking with remote starter it will crank longer before actually starting and while cranking starter is cutting in and out, making awful noise.seems worse the longer it sits between remote starts, cannot dupicate with key starting vehicle. Tried reprogramming tach, with no noticeable change. Would using power and ground for remote start from d2d wires as per wiring diagram A on THAR-CHR4 instructions be insufficient. Do I need to hardwire tach signal. Any ideas.

Why does all my Lights (headlamp, taillamp, parking lamp, and fog lamps) come on with remote start?

2013 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT

OK I did the install on a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan and every thing seemed OK, I do have one question, when remote starting all lights come on Headlamps, tail lamps, parking lamps, license plate lamp and the fog lamps, (if the fog lamps were turn on before.) (this is with the switch completely off)

This happened even before I tapped in the Green/White parking lamp circuit. Everything else works fine, hood switch and brake pedal turns off the remote start.

After putting in the key and turning to the run position, the lights stay on till I push the brake pedal to put it in gear and then the lights shut off.

disconnecting the parking lamp circuit does not change anything. On remote start all the light still come on.

I used a EVO-CHRT4 # 001A06 319593 Version 74.14

evo-chrt4 error in manual, or wrong harness with unit?

I am working on a 2008 charger, chose to use the evo-chrt4 for stand-alone installation. In the manual that came with the evo-chrt4 it says "for vehicles 2010 and less cut the vehicles ignition" which is fine. but in the manual it shows a picture of the "YELLOW" wire being in the t-harness.. my t-harness does not have a yellow wire. i called and all the guy could tell me was that i had the wrong harness cause only the t2 harness is supposed to have the YELLOW wire.. i just checked the vehicle, it does not have a yellow wire..

So. according to the instructions i am supposed to cut a non-existant yellow wire in the T-Harness?!?!? I have looked over the site fairly well, and have seen in all the instuctions pertaining to the t-harness that there is supose to be a yellow wire. i have also found that this wire being cut is needed to allow you to shift the the car from park.

I have verified the part number listed on the t-harness is "evo-chrt4" the installation guide that came with the unit is revision 20130215(which appears to be the newest revision). and the service number on the evo all that i am using is 001a06 238084 (not that the service # matters as i feel that the error is in the manual, and not something to do with the unit.. also i could not find a service number on the t-harness, is there one?

thank you for you time.
