Hello. I have a Fortin Evo-One with RFK942 installed on a Mazda CX30 Premium USA. After the remote start stopped working after an hour, the central lock won't open with either the factory key fob, the RFK942, or the door handle sensor. What settings should I change?

Hello. I installed an Evo-Key on 2020 (2021) Kia Seltos (I had two of them). During programming, after opening the ignition, both modules showed both red and yellow lights. Then I pressed the programming button seven times... (The red light flashed six times). I opened the ignition, and everything was fine. Why does the manual say six times?

I've recently purchased the OEM starter kit for a 2011 kia soul. However, this is a Canadian model and has a transponder key, so it will only crank and wont start unless a key is held near the ignition.

Will the EVO-KEY work as a bypass in conjunction with the OEM remote start kit? Is there a requirement for any sort of data link between the start module and the the EVO-KEY?

16 Tundra, Evo Key, no start

Used connection 5, programing 3 in manual. Wires were easy to find, did not use key sense. Believe truck does have a factory alarm (If that matters), it does have a factory keyfob. Programming does what it says it will do. Remote start is a Viper. Everything remote starts fine if I leave the key in the ignition. If I don't, security light blinks and remote start doesnt work. I have the flash link and everything was already updated, and it didn't give me any options to change or adjust anything. Just update.

GWR is connected to the Viper. Only the red light comes on the EVO Key if I remote start it. Is this normal? I'm sure im forgetting something.

I purchased an EVO-KEY to work as the bypass on a OEM hyundai remote starter. I installed the remote starter successfully however I needed a bypass. I ourjsed the evo-key and installed and was able to get it programmed as instructed. However, the immobilizer is still not being bypassed. What am I missing here? I don't have a data link so everything is hardwired.

Right now I am stuck with the istallation of EVO-KEY on my 2017 Hyundai Elantra, the reason is that some pictures I downloaded from the Wire Color website after I registered my key, do not match the plugs in the vehicle, example; the stated brown-orange wire for EMS-COM is not there, and yes I have a key with a chip and transponder, also the plug on my car looks diferent than the one on the picture. The number on my dash fuse/connectors panel is 91950-F2020. Help on this mater would be very much appreciated. THANKS

Hello. Yesterday I installed the remote start and fortin evo key on the veloster. After remote start car monitor turns off. After removing the terminals from the battery, it works again. What can be? 3 years ago I also installed it on the veloster, the problem was not.

Hello.

I install aftermarket remote starter (noname) on Renault Fluence and Megane with PTS (after 2009), which uses universal bypass modules with a coil, which means one of the keys must remain in the car.
Some of my clients are asking me to find another bypass solution so they do not leave the key in the car.
The remote starter we use now has several ports that can be fully customized so as to provide a positive or negative signal at different stages of the startup process or to provide power supply or to act as a simple relay.
It also has the ability to add a programmable serial communication module. I have not used it at all, but it may be useful in this situation.
The device works ok but I'm looking for a bypass solution without leaving the key in the car.
I'm thinking of testing EVO-KEY but please answer the following questions:

1. How can I trigger the EVO-KEY from my remote starter to use its bypass function ?
2. Is there any documentation for datalink or the possibility of communicating my starter device with EVO-KEY by serial port ?
3. Does online decryption cost extra or is it free?

EVO-KEY is wired as per Guide #15461, Rev 20140930. Connected to Pro-Start CT-3271 remote starter via datalink. I have confirmed that Data wires are not reversed. I have also confirmed that there is +12V @ ignition wire when key turned to "Run", 0V when key off, and this voltage is being seen at the A2 pin of the 6 pin connector.

Steps 1 to 3 in Programming Procedure followed and ok, however when key is inserted and turned to "Run" the yellow LED remains on and the red LED remains off. Have reset the EVO-KEY as per instructions here: http://fortin.ca/en/qa/49063/reset-evo-key?show=49063#q49063, with no change in the result.

What am I missing to get the EVO-KEY to program?

EVO-KEY losing programing after an hr of install

I have installed the EVO-KEY in a 2010 Hyundia Santa Fe I loaded the firmware 1.06 the recommendedversion 0f 1.05 did not allow the module to see the data signal and the Fortin Tech recommended the 1.06 and that solved the programing issue. The module programs exactly as it is suppose to and the vehical starts and runs great but after an hr or so it does not start and i have to do the reprogram and it works great the after a hr or so it does the same thing reprogram and it works great but the time cycle is the same reprogram works wait an hr and wont start reprogram and works and so on and so on.
