Proper modules for 2013 VW GTI std key manual trans

I want to make sure I purchase the correct devices for a smooth install. My understanding is that because I have a manual transmission, I need the Evo-One, TB VW transponder bypass, Flashlink Updater 2, 7.5amp fuse, and relay.

Can anyone confirm the Flashlink Updater 2 is needed as opposed to the latest Flashlink Updater 4?

No T-Harness available for 2013 VW GTI standard key yet?

Is it compatible with the Prestige PE2LCDZ 2-way remote transmitter kit key fob flashlogic RF start 1 mile? If not, is there any adapter that would enable compatiblity with the prestige RF kit?

Thank you for your help!!

What does "Reload Options" mean in Flash Link Manager?

When using the Flash Link Manager, what does the "Reload Options" button (next to save options) do? When using it, it seems to do nothing.

I have a feeling that if you reset the evo using a 'master reset' and then plug the evo into the flash link, the 'reload option' may reload the current options on the evo into flashlink. But just wanted to see if it was really it or something else.
is it possible to use Flash Link Update 2 to update Firmware on Compustar Brain Module (IE CM5000)
1st of all, great product. Flashing evoall was super easy.

I am trying to install the evoall bypass in conjunction with Compustar Alarm and remote start CM5000. for the range and 2 way LCD. My CM5000 is a bit older, therefore I wanted to update the firmware and access it function thru the computer interface. I am aware that if I use Idatalnk flash updater ( ADS-Usb) it will be able to update the firmware on the CM5000. I was wondering if the Fortin flash updater can preform the same fuction as the Idata (ADS- USB)?

I don't really want to buy the idata ADS-USB just for 1 time use.
EVO-ALL - "Died" after flashing/programming - No LEDs/No Longer Connects

Updated a brand new EVO-ALL that came as part of a EVO-FORT1 kit to install into a 2015 Ford F250 pickup. After flashing and setting options/saving I connected it to the truck to program and no LEDs came on. Tried connecting back up to the updater, but it will not connect. Tried holding the programming button to do the normal reset but it shows no sign of life - Checked the connection pins and all seems fine. I grabbed another EVO-ALL I had on hand and proceeded to flash and program that unit without any issues. Could this be a bad unit that just suddenly died? I've never seen this happen.

I'm setting up my evo-all with NIS1 T-harness as a stand alone remote starter in my 2009 infiniti fx35.

In the guide it says to turn on C1 nad D1, and that inturn enables D1.6 and thats all fine. But am I supposed to have everything else turned off? What about A1-A11, these were all turned on before so I left them on.
What about D2? Would the guide specifically say I need to set this?
One more thing, I might add a smartstart module later, should I turn on this now in the firmware or should I wait?

Flash Link2 Unable to connect to EVO-ALL (red light goes dim)

Upon connecting my Flash Link2 to my first and only Fortin Interface module (EVO-ALL) I was disheartened when the flash link was unable to communicate with the Interface Module. Furthermore when the EVO-ALL is connected to the Flash Link2, the RED indicator LED on the Flash Link2 goes dim, and the computer indicates that the Flash Link2 has disconnected.

If I unplug the EVO-ALL from the Flash Link2 the RED indicator LED becomes bright again, and the computer indicates that the USB connection to the Flash Link2 has been re-established.

I contacted telephone support (English) and was instructed to reinstall the software to the Flash Link2. I have tried this on both company machines and my personal PC with the same results as described above.

Any help would be appreciated, Thank you in advance.

I just bought a brand new EVO-ALL and Flash-Link Updater 2. I followed the instructions exactly on the Flash-Link Updater manual in order to get the latest updates for my device prior to install. The Flash-Link powers on and lights up red but the module never lights up and the Flash-Link light does not come on showing a link to the module. Any option I attempt to choose results in a message that the device was not found. Is this brand new module defective? Is there any other way to test it or reset it? Thanks!
