Hi,

I was trying to update the firmware of my Flashlink Updater v5 from 4.8 to 4.11. I followed the procedure in the Flashlink Manager screen but disconnecting and connecting the Flashlink Updater, the progress stuck at 1% and the Flashlink Manager closed while the blue and green lights were blinking. Now the Flashlink Updater is bricked and it cannot be recognized by the Flashlink Manager. Please let me know what can I do to get it back?

I have a Fortin Evo-One on my 2018 mazda cx5. i had removed it from car because of some other errors with cruise control last year. Now the summer has forced me to put back the remote starter. So i tried to Dcrypt the data and when the key data is being pushed to evo one , it gets disconnected. Tried several times but same error and ended up reaching the max limit. I need help to remove the limit to try again with another computer and a new set of cables.

Hi i have evo one and i change in settings on my flashlink 4 the number 6 option it says door lock before and after remote-start it was no so I chose Look after remote-start 8.3 after that when i run my car by the remote my wheels don't turn full only half but when i turn my car by the button it's work fine so I do the reset bypass side and return to the flashlink 4 and the same option number 6 door lock before and after remote-start and I put it back to no like it was and i did decryptor but nothing change the opinion didn't work when i turn the car by remote didn't happend like before it was like door open the closing then the car run

Evo all/gmt4 module not connected/detected in flash manager

Evo all/gmt4 module not connected/detected in flash manager 4. It will recognize the flashlink2, i can upgrade the firmware, but the evoall/gmt4 unit is never recognized. I have a solid red light on the flash updater and a solid red light on the evo all in bypass mode, switch to remote start and the evo all has all the leds blinking a few times and it doesnt connect. when I shut down the program and restart it, the program recogognizes the updater plugged in but there is no firmware selected.

Update the firmware again and it accepts, and then every thing is the same as above. it seems like everything is communicating with the evoall flashing, but can never get unit connected throught the software. Is the module bad, servers down, bad flash tool? I tried a reset on the module again but same as above.

In Flashlink Manager, I am able to connect the Flashlink Updater (red LED on device solid and status shows "Connected"), but when I plug the Updater into my EVO-ONE the module will not connect to the Updater.

Using Flashlink Manager v4.62, and Flashlink Updater has firmware v4.08.

Processing Update in DCryptor for over 4 hours now... Anyone else having this issue? How to resolve?

Good day. I'm replacing the Evo One in my car, and I'm not sure how it's currently configured (THAR or not, configured options, etc). Can I read the settings on my old Evo One so I can apply them to the new one as a starting point? I have the FLASHLINK unit already.

I have an EVO-ALL. When using Flashlink software, I don't see Viper listed as an option for datalink/d2d. What option should I select? It is strange that Viper's sister companies are listed (Clifford, Avital, Python, etc) but NOT Viper.

Just purchased an Evo Start LTE all in one kit. I'm installing in a 2008 Cadillac CTS, and ran into trouble when setting it up with FlashLink. Stepping through the steps for an initial flash, I come to "RF Kits" and it asks me to select a RF Kit or a smartphone app. I plan to use both the Start LTE and an RFK441 setup, but the software only allows one selection. What should I select and flash? The instructions for the start say to program the RF Kit first, disconnect, then do the Start LTE, but no mention of what to select in FlashLink. Thanks in advance for your help!

When trying to update the EVO-ONE Software, several messages appear at the top right of the screen

Hi, I import modules for Australian vehicles and a regular programmer of the Evo-ALL modules via Flash Link v4, with our usual preferred programming via FORTIN Pro Mode. When selecting the same "Update to 4.[01]" of firmware we always select, the program keeps freezing during update and we receive a notification on pc screen (in a black box) stating "Please select firmware version". Not sure what has changed or been updated by FORTIN since we last programmed modules approx 4 weeks back?

Have uninstalled/reinstalled Flash Link v4 - same issue; attempted programming for a different vehicle, still freezing during firmware update.

Hello Fortin Technical services Representatives,

installed EVO ALL and bought flashlink updater2 to program my EVO device in 2016. Now, I want to update my EVO ALL remote start unit but the FL updater2 could not be connected thru FL Manager. I bought a FL updater4 thru Amazon to use and the Manager detected the FL Updater and the EVO ALL device but when I try ti update, Manager display message: " Device Flash Limit Reached" The current device cannot be flash anymore.

PS. also, please let me know how many time the FL Updater can be used to Update the EVO ALL?

When connecting my EVO-One to the Flash Link I'm receiving an error message:

An error occurred while detecting your module. Please replug the module and try again, if the problem persists contact customer support.

The red light on the device near the yellow loop wire is solid red when plugged into the computer or vehicle. I'm presuming the device needs to be reset by support or replaced.

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with an older Chrime Stoppers remote start, and had on omega

IB-GMBP.DB-PAS-23A Passkey override. The omega unit went bad and appears to be discontinued.

I purchaesd the Fortin unit to replace it. I just need the passkey function of the Fortin.

Wired it in configuration 5 without data link.

When I follow the programming instructions, the red light will come on, but not start blinking when the key is switched on. I have checked my wiring. I'm pretty sure I have it right. The red light also does not go out after I start the engine.

I read on this forum that GM trucks can be particularly hard to program and that there is a firmware version 3.06 that resolves the issue.

I bought the Fortin flashlink-lite updater to upgrade my firmware from 3.01 to 3.06

The flashlink-lite updater seems to be working with my laptop correctly. The Flashlink manager 4 shows the flashlink-lite updater as connected.

When I plug in my INT-SL+ the red light comes on for a few seconds and goes out. Flashlink Manager4 always shows the "module status" as disconnected.

I tried holding the INT-SL programming button before plugging the INT-SL into the Flashlink-lite. The red light stays on but the "module status" doesn't change.

I have seen youtube videos that show the Fortin modules connecting almost instantly when plugged into the Flashlink devices, so I think something is wrong. I suspect the INT-SL

I don't want to buy more stuff until I'm sure that I'm going to solve the problem.

I feel that I should troubleshoot the connection between INT-SL+ and Flashlink first, since those are Fortin factory connections. That eleminates my wiring as a potential issue in the flowchart.

Is there a way to tell if the INT-SL+ is bad?

Windows computer not recognizing Flash Link Module

After opening the software and loging in, when I plug the Flash Link Module into my computer, the computer is not recognizing the Flash Link Module.

I have tried with three different computers and I am having no luck.

Of the computers I tried, one is running Windows 11 and two are running Windows 10.

The Windows 11 computer simply does nothing, it doesn't move from the screen saying the PC is unable to detect the Flash Link Updater. On the Windows 10 computers, I get this error message:

If you can't see the screen shot of the error message, it says: "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, your device may not be working properly."

The Service Number on the back of the Flash Link Module is:

Hello, I want to buy EVO_VWT1 kit for my VW Scirocco 2012 (Golf 6 identical) and I've heard there is some connection issue to server from Russia. Actually no dealer here can install it and I just want to do it by myself. So, will I have the problem with connection using Flashlink updater?

When connecting my evo-all to the flash link through flash link manage I get a message saying flash link is not compatible with the device. What is up or what did I do wrong? It never gets to a screen to select vehicle just stays in the home screen with the error and the only think I can select is updating firmware to the flash link which I did. Please help.

My computer says not detecting flash link when connected. When I plug in the flash link the three LED come on and then go out. The module yellow LED comes on and its says trying to connect and after a minute it seems to give up and says unable to connect.

When I connect my EVO-ONE to my flashlink it stays stuck at 10% Currently Fetching Options.

It refuses to connect. I am able to get connected in PRO mode. Bypass works fine in PRO Mode, but the remote starter tab crashes the connection.

Is my device defective or is there a fix for this? I am using the latest version of Flashlink as well as the latest firmware on my evo one.

Great support forum! I've learned a lot.

I'm in the process of installing an "Advanced Keys" remote starter with the aftermarket push button using the Thar-one-sub1 and Evo-all. I have 2 quick questions I hope you can help with.

1) When programming the evo-all, Should I still choose "standard key", "standard connection", and "standard installation"?

2) My plan is to just cut off the evo-one connection and wire directly to the aftermarket unit. I see the 2 starters are spliced and dioded. I assume i should be fine still connecting to the 1 +starter wire from the aftermarket to the thicker yellow on the T harness?

Why won't the program fully recognize flashlink module?

I had the EVO ALL bypass installed on my 2010 maxima when my remote start/a;larm was installed some years ago. Recently my battery died for about a week and i lost some features on the system. I had it checked by a different installer becuse I no longer live in the same area as before and they said that the EVO ALL lost programming and was locked out. He tried reseting it but to no avail. so i purchased the Fortin flashliknk 4 to update the firmware/flash it and it will not allow me to do it. I get a mesage basically saing it can no loger update the bypass or flash it. When i read the Fortin website regarding updatng the bypass it says it wil only work on a bypass that has a barcode etc.. well mine does yet im unable to upgrade the firmaware and flash it. Id like to add that it also says the firmaware is incompatible which is odd because thats what ive had installed since i purchased the system brand new. If anyone can offer any troubleshooting tips or tech support i would really appreciate it.
