Forester XT push to start FYI

RE: Evo one programming 2014 Forester XT push to start

I found out the OEM remote fob can't be in the car until step 5, when you are ready to start the vehicle.

Push to start relays are energized when fob is in range not allowing Evo One to go into program mode.

Also found out there are two green/black wires in the ECM connecter for the IMMO connection. If you get a

intake air temp sensor CEL, you got the wrong wire!

OEM fob worked great, 3x start- stop and lock-unlock. Car Link ASCL6 also works great!

19 Subaru Forester only unlocks when remote start has been activated.

19 Subaru Forester PTS will only unlock from rf remote after remote start activated and car is running. I'm coming from an 18 Subaru Crosstrek and would lock / unlock from the rf remotes without the remote start (car running). Is this common with the 19 Forester or am I missing a setting in flash link? When I press the unlock button when the car isn't remote started (or running) the car responds with 3 quick horn beeps.

Everything seemed to program fine on both sides of the unit as well as the dcrytor process. Everything else seems to work also. Start / stop of car and lock. I've had numerous other vehicles with the same setup and all were able to utilize the unlock feature without the car remote started (running).

Thank you,

2009 Subaru Forester, Evo All, Viper 5202v

Hi, I have recently fitted an evoall to a 2009 Subaru Forester xt, fitting was pretty simple it programmed correctly so no problems there, connected it to the viper alarm but no outputs via D2D or hardwire the locks work and the bypass works but nothing else, I checked the programming and the D2D was on and hilighted in green and also all the door trigger, boot trigger, brake, Ebrake etc are all highlighted green. Am I missing something? Also if you try to disarm the car soon after arming, it won't unlock sometimes, seems to be ok if left for a while!?

Remote starter has been sporadically starting vehicle on its own with no fob input on 2012 subaru forester

Last winter car started on its own several times(5 that I know of) and then during spring/summer months this stopped occurring then this fall it has occurred 2 times and fobs were inside with no human physical contact. Fortunately car is not kept in garage as this would have been an extremely dangerous event(carbon monoxide). I purchased the vehicle off lease from a used dealer in Ontario , car was originally in service/purcahsed new in quebec where I expect this fortin system was installed. Unit was installed in car when I purchased used. What can be done to rectify this and is their a recall on this unit. I can absolutely confirm that none of the fobs were depressed in any manner to cause this.
