My FTX64-2W battery dies after 2 days.

Hello my ftx64-2w batteries dies on both remotes after about 2 days roughly after 2 remote starts and unlock, then nothing. This has been a while and have been through lots of batteries thinking they were faulty but that's not the case. Also on checking the batteries every time, one is always higher than the other and not evenly discharging. I have the EVO FORT1 installed and it's been working but the remotes are draining very quickly. Also I cannot get to remote start from the car remote with the three lock presses. It used to do it but haven't since I had the other remotes. But now I need it it's not responding.

Some help please, thanks

Civic 16' (Manual) w/FTX64 2W - Ready mode no longer saving my dashboard preferences

Hi,

I Have a Honda Civic 2016 (Manual). I bought an aftermarket remote starter in 2019. The controller is an FTX64 2W.

I used it without issues up until this winter. I would stop the car, leav it in neutral put the park brake on, and then press the ON button on the controller to start the Ready Mode. With the exception of the rear-window defroster which never worked, any preferences that I had on my dashboard would turn on when I activated the remote start later on (seat heaters, front window defroster, temperature, etc).

This winter I noticed that when I get out of the car after activating my ready mode (after about 3-5s) the remote emits a red light and makes the descending noise (same on as if I remote stopped the car). When I then remote start the car, it will turn on, but none of the preferences on my dashboard will be on (cold seats, no defroster, no temperature, etc).

The only thing that has changed is that one of the remotes (I have two) is dead. I will be replacing the batteries this week and trying that one out too.

Anyone know what could be causing this? As I said, it worked well up until this winter and then stopped out of nowhere.

Ive installed the evo all with the t-harness and the ftx 64 remote. I can remote start the truck with the fortin remote. The module locks the doors after the remore start. It monitors the door pin. It will shut the truck down with the fortin remote. I can un lock the doors with the fortin remote but the truck will not lock with the fortin lock button. It arms the factory alarm but does not move the locks.

FTC 64-2 with EVO-One in a Mistubishi Outlander - Won't perform

I have a FTC64-2 Module with an EVO One.

The systems seems to operate correctly with the OEM remote (3x)

It is unclear if I should use the T-Harness or plug the antenna directly into the blue port on the EVO One.

If I go directly into the blue port I can't seemed to get it programmed, when I get in program mode, the antenna never goes to a rapid blink.

If I go into the black data port, it seems to program per the instructions, but when I hit the unlock button, it won't unlock the doors, but the blue light on the Evo One will blink once. The remote seems to give confirmation with a green light, but the doors don't unlock, lock or get a remote start.

I successfully installed the EVO-ALL in my 2012 Nissan Maxima. I also added the Fortin FTX 64-2W RF kit to the EVO-ALL. The factory key fob remote starts, lock/unlock. All functions work as they did before the EVO-ALL install. The 4 button remote from the RF kit does remote start the vehicle but doesn't lock/unlock the doors. I get a green confirmation on the remote that it sending/receiving the signal. While in the vehicle I can hear activity from the EVO-All. Thanks in advance!

2008 Silverado WT not remote starting with EVO-GMT & RF Kit

I Installed a Fortin EVO-GMT in my 2008 Chevrolt Silverado WT. The lock/unlock function works, but attempting to start results in the dash lights and accessories turning on for several seconds, turning off momentarily, turning back on for several seconds, then the red light flashing 3 times before failing to start. (The starter does not crank).

I know this unit is capable of starting the truck - I initially misprogrammed the RF (FTX-64-2W) as H1 rather than H2 - which caused the unlock to not work, and a strange combination of buttons on the remote would start the truck. After reprogramming it to H2, the symptoms above became aparent.

*Kit is being used as stand-alone, truck does not have factory remote.

Any help is appreciated.
