2012 tundra. Been in service for a year with evo one and rfk942 kit. Suddenly stopped remote starting. no parking light flashes. locks and unlocks. blue led flashes on evoall. when remote starting, red led comes on, then yellow. instrument cluster illuminates. half second later red turns off. one second later yellow turns off. No parking light flashes. no reattempts.

new brake switch was installed just as a precautionary. hood switch was bypassed as a precautionary.

verified firmware and options are still in module.

any ideas?

EVO One 2018 manufacture date 2012 4Runner G-Key

Just looked at the latest install guide for 4runner. Says unit compatible module 2019 and above with firmware 79.59. I have 2018 module but can't get firmware 79.59. Do I need 2019 module to receive firmware or use on 2012 4runner?

Lights not coming on on evo one

No power to evo one on a 2016 4Runner. I already check all the wiring and there's power coming from the ignition harness. But when I try to program it there is no lights coming on at all on the evo one.

I wired the module in but the vehicle doesn't have the required g key for some reason even tho it's a 2012 model fj cruiser. Is there a way to bypass the g key transponder or am I SOL? The key I have is an L key

2014 Camry fob not working after remote started?

When 3X lock is pressed vehicle starts. Then when started the FOB doesn't work while vehicle is running and have to use the key to enter the vehicle.

I've installed 2 other remote starts in 2013 Corolla and 2016 Tacoma, and after vehicles has started, I can still use the key FOB to unlock the door. I can also click 3X on the lock and shutoff vehicles. But I can't do it with 2014 camry...did I miss a wire? or is this normal operation?

Used connection 5, programing 3 in manual. Wires were easy to find, did not use key sense. Believe truck does have a factory alarm (If that matters), it does have a factory keyfob. Programming does what it says it will do. Remote start is a Viper. Everything remote starts fine if I leave the key in the ignition. If I don't, security light blinks and remote start doesnt work. I have the flash link and everything was already updated, and it didn't give me any options to change or adjust anything. Just update.

GWR is connected to the Viper. Only the red light comes on the EVO Key if I remote start it. Is this normal? I'm sure im forgetting something.

2013 camry G-key. FOB doesn't work after remote starting vehicle

3X lock and vehicle starts. Now key FOB doesn't work while vehicle is running and have to use the key to enter the vehicle.

I've install in 2 other vehicle and after vehicle has started, I can still use the key FOB to unlock the door. I can also click 3X on the lock and shutoff vehicle. But I can't do it with this camry...did I miss a wire? or is this normal operation?

Hi everyone,

My vehicle: Camry 2014 with G stamped keys.

Last week, I installed EVO-ONE with Toy-thar-one-2 harness following guide: #76661. I also have the RF642W added on because I knew my car needed RF-kit to remote start (OEM 3X LOCK not supported).

I installed them through, got them working. RF remotes started my car just fine the first night (about 15 F degree outside atm). Unfortunately, they both stopped working the next morning due to no reason or change (45 F degrees atm). The car would just crank when I remote start and then stop. During the cranking, as soon as I put my G-key in, it starts just fine. Normal key-turning starting worked.

I then re-flashed my Evo-ONE and re-programed it into my car. They worked at first and then stopped working the next morning all over again. This time, outside temperature did not change much. So I guess it must not have anything to do with the cold-start feature. I think maybe my Evo un-learns programs itself? May it be the cause here?

About my installation: As I follow the instruction, I have my installation done with successful programming. At Flash-link step, I updated both By-pass and remote starter to the most current recommended versions: 79.51 and 1.24. I left all options as recommended by the wizard too. One thing I noticed, the guide wanted Function 2 in Remote Start to be in Mode 4 which it says "+ Start 2 E1, + Ignition 2 E2". However in Flash-link, Mode 4 shows as "White (E1) START, ORANGE (E2) Ignition 2". I dont know if the difference would cause me the problem.

Hello i installed a compustar remote starter RF2wg15r-fm and the FT7200S-CONT MODULE with evo all bypass- Vehicle only remote start and runs only for sometimes 2mins/3mins/5mins and the longest is 8mins- i try already to set the run time in the compustar module to 25 mins and 45 mins, and it still dooes the same thing- i reprogram the evo all already checked the settings all seems to be ok- i replaced the compustar module with another unit, still does the same run time- any idea what to do in this concern? thank you-

2012 Toyota Camry SE will not Remote Start

I have installed the EVO-One, Thar-One-Toy4 T-harness and Programmed the One with option D2. Installed unit, programmed the unit per guide #71411 and still the unit will not remote start. I have done everything in the Guide and I even turned off the Valet Mode, but I still don't get any remote start from the unit. No lights on the unit are illuminated constantly and no lights flash when using the Factory remote to remote start the vehicle. Does this unit need a seperate remote to remote start the vehicle? Do I need to program the EVO-One to use the Factory Remote? There is no instructions on needing to program the unit to the factory remote. The main reason for this install, was to use the Factory Remote to remote start the vehicle.

Installed the EVO-ONE with THAR-TOY2 in a 2014 Toyota Prius C with regular key (G key). Programming went as described in the guide with all of the appropriate LEDs flashing. The module does not respond to the OEM key fob. No lights come on when the buttons are pressed and no remote start. There is a constantly flashing red light on the back of the unit. The module was supposed to be pre-programmed and the Flashlink Updater was supposed to be optional. Not sure if I have a bad connection or if it wasn't programmed correctly for the vehicle.

The service number on my unit says 002b07139948 and in flash link it says 002b02139948, can the hardware difference between 2 and 7 prevent the programming of a crimestopper revo1. or is this a typo on the sticker?

I just cant get a response from axone , it is set on fortin2, 2.4 protocol. cant get red flashes at step 5 of rf programming.? any ideas?

Hi! I have just set up the evo all in Camry 2014 se G key. I checked all connection is good. When I turn the ignition on, the yellow led is solid. I also turn on the oem remote option when I program the evo one, but when I press lock unlock lock on my key fob. It does not remote start my car. Is it something I do wrong for the wiring?

I have an Evo-All (EA) product connected to an Advanced Keys PTS & PKE system (AKS). The GWR from the AKS is connected to the blue GWR wire from the EA as directed to. Additionally, in order to get the EA unit to "act" appropriately, I have the unlock wire from the truck attached to the GWR wire as well. This makes everything work the way it should!

Now onto my actual question. Anytime I hook up the key-sense wire to the application, the truck ceases to either start and or immediately dies. Why is this? AKS says to use the GWR wire for the key-sense. There are other negative wires I can use from the AKS to simulate a GWR out to the EA. However the results are the same, the truck does not start and or dies immediately. I have also tried direct ground to the EA GWR wire with no luck! And as a last resort just to see if it was the wiring I installed, I hooked up the factory key sense connection it reacted the same way, died and or would not start.

I would like the key-sense to activate the automatic seat & steering wheel when I start the truck.

Can you please assist me?

bought 2 key override all modules. used the first one on a ford f150. no issues. going to install the second one on the wifes car this morning and went to get my wire color chart and the activation key says its invalid????

I'm installing an EVO-ONE with the THAR-TOY1 T-Harness into a 2012 Toyota Rav4 and I believe I have followed the wiring diagram to set it up correctly. When I go to do the key bypass programming, I get to the step when I put my key in and turn the ignition to ON. Instead of the blue AND red light flashing, ONLY the red light flashes rapidly and doesn't stop. PLEASE HELP!

I have installed the evo one with T-Harness on my 2012 Camry SE. I was able to program key bypass without an issues. I want to find out do I need to have the RF kit for remote starter? I had it program to use it using the oem remote but its not doing anything when I press lock it three times. Am I doing somthing wrong or it's only needs the RF kit.

Hi there, I just got my ax-one all in one kit and the t harness for my Toyota Tundra 2015. I havnt had it installed yet as I am in the process of flashing it and getting all the settings correct based on all the questions I've found on this board. I just wanted to confirm enabling option 2.4 as you recommended here for someone else? Also is it recommended that I turn off the hood switch ? Also, is it possible to have the factory fob and rf kit installed at the same time ? The instructions recommend bypass firmware 79.20 but all I saw was 79.24 so I used that. Please confirm all settings that I should have before installing. Much appreciated.

When i search by vehicle for a 2010 corolla G key it brings up guide #8871 which lists the 2012-2013 corolla, will this also work on 2010 corolla? or is there a mistake on the site?

I have an Evo one and a 2011 Camry with a g key. I wired the evo one like guide 19551 said but could not get the bypass to program. After pushing the program button two times the blue and red light would just blink slowly, would not respond to the key in the barrel key on or off. Then i wired it like a 2010 camry from guide 19541 and was able to get the bypass to program. the vehicle starts with the key and the evo one response with the blue led when i lock and unlock the doors, but when I try the remote start the vehicle cranks with no start. I did nottice that the immobilizer light stays blinking when the vehicle is trying to start. The evo one has the latest update. I was wondering if it was because it was wired like a 2010 that the immobilizer does not turn off or something else?

2012 TOYOTA Corolla G-key and Fortin EVO-ALL:

Connections: Ignition 1: Connected to A1 Fortin EVO-ALL. CAN LOW: PIN 14 OBD-2 Diagnostic port to C4 Fortin EVO-ALL. CAN HIGH: PIN 6 OBD-2 Diagnostic Port to C3 Fortin EVO-ALL. Immobilizer Data: PIN 7 OBD-2 Diagnostic Port to A10 Fortin EVO-ALL. ALL other connection go trough DATALINK D2D.

Problem: Installation Procedure 5: The red light never flashes 10x times after turning the Ignition to ON/RUN Position. Waited 1 hour and the red light never flashed 10x times neither the blue light. Tried few times and 3 different EVO-ALL.

Fortin EVO-ALL was flashed previously with the firmware of car model and year suggested by Flashlink Manager: Firmware 79.12 Hardware: 6.

Somebody has a clue on how to solve this issue or what could be wrong. Thanks in advance.

2013 Camry SE "G" Key

This model does NOT come with the factory installed hood pin switch. I purchased the OEM pin switch and installed it. I am not sure if it will work though or if it needs some additional wiring. There is a wiring harness sitting at the hood release to open the hood that was meant to be plugged into the OEM hood switch. I connected it. Still unsure if that is all that needs to be done. Does anyone know if that will work? If not, I assume I will have to run a wire and install a regular hood pin switch. Another question is, on the immobilizer unit BLADE-AL, there is one wirte that says "without OEM hood status only" and a symbol for ground I think. Would I use this wire to run to the pin switch if the one I installed (the OEM) one does not work? What happens if I do nothing? Will the RS still operate and just not turn off if I open the hood or does this wire HAVE to be connected?

2013 Camry SE "G" key. To trigger the 2nd starter wire (My RS / Alarm does not have a 2nd starter wire), is it better to use the Starter # 1 (+) wire and the 2nd starter pulse (-) wire to trigger a relay to start 2nd starter wire or is it better to use 12+ and the 2nd starter pulse (-) wire to trigger the relay to be used to activate starter # 2? Does it really matter? the 2nd starter wire (-) needs to be converted to +. Therefore, either 12+ or the starter # 1 wire are both + and I would think can be used to trigger and supply starter # 2 with 12+. Is there another way to do this?
