2020 Honda Civic auto-locking when closing door

Hello, I've noticed something odd when getting out of the car. When I dis-engage the ready mode (foot on brake, parking brake on, foot off brake, then tapping the brake once more and turning the car off with the push button) I noticed that after opening the door and closing it after about 3-5 seconds after the doors auto-lock, with the fob still in the car. When I have my fob with me, the car normally locks when I walk away, and I still at least have time to walk around to the other side of the car(or any other door) before it locks.

Thank goodness I either had access to the spare fob, or the windows were rolled down and I can grab my bag with the key in it, but is there any way to disable that from the module?

2008 Honda Odyssey OEM remote does not work after remote start

2008 Honda Odyssey
EVO-ONE SN:002b04712276

Guide #86291

I have installed the unit according to the guide above. It programs fine and the van will remote start. After a remote start the OEM remote will no longer function. I have read in some other posts that this could be caused by incorrect ignition 2 wiring. Currently I have ignition 2 connected to pin D3 should it be connected to D1? What does the "Cut" mean in the wiring diagram for those wires? Same question for the security light connection. Should it be connected to D4 or D6? We just unlock the driver door with the key and everything else works as it should but it would be cool if the OEM remote worked to unlock the doors.

2020 Honda Civic Starts But No Power to Head Unit and SRS Airbag Error

Installed an Evo-One with Evo-Start on a manual transmission 2020 Civic Sport. Can start the car just fine with the OEM remote or the app but when using either there is no power to the head unit and there is also an SRS airbag alert. This all resets after restarting the car but I am wondering how to keep this from happening. After doing some research i believe ignition 2 powers these accessories, is that so? Checked that function 2 is set to mode one which is supposed to be correct for this vehicle I have double checked all connections and all are good. Have used a multimeter and both ignition pins with pink and white wire and both are receiving 12 volts when started. Also is there a way to fully takeover the vehicle without shutting it down first or is that just a Honda thing with no workaround? Thanks

2019 Honda Accord Sport Manual Trans - NO START

Hi,

I installed a EVO ONE Kit with RF912 remotes. I tested all connections via multimeter from BCM to Fortin harness. I programmed the remotes, and was able to use DECRYPTER. I am able to get the car in manual ready mode. Parking lights come on and car shuts down upon door closing. Upon calling for remote start, the dashboard lights up, displays "Smart Entry System Problem" (yes I know that is normal for these cars). The parking lights sometimes flash twice other times there is no flash and it just does nothing. The Evo one flashes Blue/Red, then Yellow/Red, the off and repeat for another cycle. No crank.

I have reflashed, disabled A11, no change. I have also attempted to sit in the car holding the clutch down incase the clutch bypass was not working but that did not seem to do anything at all.

Please let me know next steps and what else I should try.

2018 Honda Ridgeline crank, no start? Evo one.

I installed the Evo one, with the Hon8 T harness, programmed it exactly as it says to 73.38, settings as it says in the manual. It cranks for about 5-10 seconds but won’t start. Also my 2018 Honda Ridgeline doesn’t have the shift lock, gray plug as in the wiring harness manual. Not sure what’s going on?

Mileage and Remote Lock with OEM key

Hi i have questions regarding evo start showing mileage function, can the mileage be changed in app to match the odometer reading or trip reading. Can i change it manually, as its showing the total mileage after the installation not the odometer reading.

2nd question, the evo one was installed with OEM triple press start, is there any way i can use the OEM key to remote lock when leaving the car running. I'm able to lock it running with the app but not the OEM key. Is the functionality can be changed so can Remote lock running car with OEM key?
Honda Crv 2017 EXL tailgate problems

Hello. I bought a car in the USA, it arrived to me in Ukraine, and I encountered a problem with the EVO-ONE system Serial number #002B04 051298. Honda CRV 2017 EXL, push and stop system.

The car sat for a long time and was transported to Ukraine, and the battery was probably disconnected. Remote start is now working. The car has a keyless entry system. The original remote has a remote start button, I first lock the car, then hold that button for 4 seconds and the car starts. But the problem is this:

1. The motorized trunk opening does not work both when the engine is running and when the engine is stopped, and under security and without security, the trunk lid does not rise or fall, and I cannot do this either from the remote control or from the button in the cabin or from the button on the the door itself.

I went to the dealer, there are no errors on the door computer and motors, all fuses and wires are in order. If you open the lock mechanically manually from the passenger compartment, then the door can then be closed using the remote control or any button. But then it won't open. It was also noticed that if you disconnect the battery from the car and connect it back, the door can be opened in any way, either remotely or with a button. But then it also locks.

2. It was also noticed that if, with the car closed, on the outside of the trunk you press and hold the trunk open button several times, the remote start system turns on and the car engine starts.

In general, i can now get into the trunk only in two ways, either through the interior, or by disconnecting the battery.

Unfortunately, we do not have service stations in Ukraine that have programmers for FORTIN. It turns out that I can only rely on Bypass programming.

I will be very grateful for your answer and help!

honda hrv 2022 push to start, evo all takeover

hi... i have installed a evo all with a crimestopper remote start in a honda hrv 2022 push to start (takeover mode) I have flashed multiple evo all trying to understand the problem as I have checked all the connections and they are perfect as indicated by the installation guide. The problem is that when I enter the vehicle and press once the button turns off (taking into account that it does recognize the smart key) but if I press it twice in a row it does not turn off and I can drive it normally, but a message comes out that says Keyless Start System Problem, And if I turn the vehicle off and turn it on normally, the message still appears. Any solution for this problem or a special software version for it. Thank you for your help.

Is there a minimum EvoOne hardware revision for 2019 Honda Passport ?

Yesterday we have installed an EvoOne with THAR-ONE-HON8 harness and followed instructions for a takeover install on a customer's 2019 Honda Passport.

The EvoOne's remote start functionality works, but when I unlock the door and get inside (I've tried proximity fob, OEM fob unlock button, MyStart unlock) and I push "start" once (or multiple times), nothing happens. The push to start button keeps pulsing its white led instead of turning red.

When I hit the brakes after a few seconds of pressing "Start" once, the car shuts down.

The EvoOne is a few years old and might not be the latest hardware revision. Is there a hardware limitation ? Or is there something else I'm missing ?

Thank yoiu

How Exactly do you bypass the clutch on a Manual Transmission?

Hello,

I have read a bunch of responses regarding clutch bypass for manual transmission vehicles. Some say to splice to the clutch switch, others say use a 180 ohm resistor. Both the T-Harness manual and the regular install manual have NO mention of manual transmission using the A5 white wire (im assuming) or where/how to install.

1) how do I tell if my clutch is Negative or Positive?

2) Do I need a resitor in line of the A5 White wire? Is this the correct wire?

3) Does it matter which wire on the clutch switch I splice to?

Thanks in Advance,
2018 Civic Si No ready mode (RF 442)

Just installed an evo one and Rf-442 kit on my 2018 PTS civic. Used the Hon7 harness, so I had to do the interruption at the steering lock and tap into the clutch wire. Also ran the dcrytor process when the guide prompted. Also worth noting that the yellow light is lit when the ignition is on. Whenever I try to remote start the car with either remote, the parking lights blink 3 times indicating that the car isn't in ready mode. When I programmed the module using wizard mode, I made sure to select the middle sequence (car in neutral, foot on brake, park brake...etc), but when I leave the car, it continues running and says that the key fob is not detected on the dash. Made sure that valet mode was disabled via the rf antenna. All of the other functions of the rf remote seem functional minus the remote start.

Im guessing this is a programming error, any help would be appreciated

Using the thar-one-hon8 harness. Vehicle does not have a steering lock module so that is not connected. Updated to firmware stated in the guide and programmed Dcryptor. We are using the OEM remote with lock unlock lock to start. The vehicle will start and run for a few seconds before it shuts off. It then starts again, runs for a few seconds, and shuts off again. It does not attempt to start again after that.

2005 Honda Pilot EVO-ONE Omega OL-RF-15-SST no remote start

	Hello,

Ive installed an EVO-ONE with Omega OL-RF-15-SST RF Kit into my 2005 Honda Pilot and i have been unable to get the remote start feature to work. Lock/Unlock functionality work using the Omega remote and when i initiate the remote start function, the remote chimes to indicate it transmitted the remote start signal and the lights on my car flash 3 times and the red led on the EVO unit lights up for a second or 2 then goes out but nothing at all happens after that.

Update: After switching from bypass firmware 73.39 and 73.28 the remotes no longer work and the valet switch no longer works either, so i can try to reconfigure the rf kit. I dunno if my unit has a bug and needs to be master reset or what. I also have no rf kit options other than Fortin RF Kits, if that makes any difference. I have tried the suggested remote starter firmware and the OM 0.44 formware for Omega RF kits to no avail. any help would be appreciated.

Evo One, how to decrease crank time

First time Fortin user here. Purchased a pre-programmed EvoOne and an Omega OL-RF-32-SST from a trusted Fortin distributor. Vehicle info: 2005 Honda CRV, (gas engine, auto trans, keyless entry, no factory alarm).

Clean install which went very smoothly. Everything functions as it should. However, when I call for a remote start command, the vehicle will start and run but over crank by a sec or so causing a starter grind. WITHOUT a Flashlink V4/Manager Software...followed programming procedure OPTION 3 Tachless Sensitivy to decrease crank time using the antenna button and rf remote button method, but can not get a park light confirmation of the changes I made.

My assumption. IF my distributor enabled Master ON on the module during initial programming, changes made using the said method above does not function correct? and the only way to make that change is through Flashlink/Manager Software?

Evo One Locks keys (and infant) in car

Evo One, 2016 Honda HR-V, Manual transmission, Push button start

I have an infant who is in an infant seat and is unable to get out of the seat themselves, let alone open a car door. The following situation has occured a couple of times, and luckily we have been at home near a spare set of keys to unlock the car before any excessive overheating in the car.

The steps to reproduce the issue are:

 Car running

 Put car in neutral

 Activate parking brake

Take foot off pedal, wait for "click" sound after a couple of seconds

 Leave keys in car

 Exit car

Car turns off, and 2 seconds later all doors are locked with keys (and infant) in car

The same issue occurs with this other set of steps:

 Car running

 Put car in neutral

 Activate parking brake

Take foot off pedal, wait for "click" sound after a couple of seconds

Put foot back on brake, and press start/stop to stop the car

 Leave keys in car

 Exit car

Car turns off, and 2 seconds later all doors are locked with keys (and infant) in car

We have friends who sadly recently lost their toddler due to overheating in their car and we would be heartbroken if this happened to anyone else due to something as simple as a remote starter.

The easy answer would be to say don't leave your keys in the car, or don't leave your car running, but the reality is people forget their keys all the time, and sometimes you need to leave the car running because it's too hot and you need A/C or in the cold, you need the heater while you grab something. We would never leave our kid in the car during one of these situations but it still means your keys would get locked in the car if you ever wanted to leave it running (because it won't run with the keys out of the car).

Either way, it scares us to think that our remote starter could possibly lock our kid in the car, with the keys in there as well.

Please advise if this is intended behavior (and what the fix is) or if it was installed incorrectly, or if there is a way to turn off the auto lock feature when the keys are in the car.

	Thanks!

Civic 16' (Manual) w/FTX64 2W - Ready mode no longer saving my dashboard preferences

Hi,

I Have a Honda Civic 2016 (Manual). I bought an aftermarket remote starter in 2019. The controller is an FTX64 2W.

I used it without issues up until this winter. I would stop the car, leav it in neutral put the park brake on, and then press the ON button on the controller to start the Ready Mode. With the exception of the rear-window defroster which never worked, any preferences that I had on my dashboard would turn on when I activated the remote start later on (seat heaters, front window defroster, temperature, etc).

This winter I noticed that when I get out of the car after activating my ready mode (after about 3-5s) the remote emits a red light and makes the descending noise (same on as if I remote stopped the car). When I then remote start the car, it will turn on, but none of the preferences on my dashboard will be on (cold seats, no defroster, no temperature, etc).

The only thing that has changed is that one of the remotes (I have two) is dead. I will be replacing the batteries this week and trying that one out too.

Anyone know what could be causing this? As I said, it worked well up until this winter and then stopped out of nowhere.

How to set EVO ONE RFK942 on Honda CRV 2015 SE ?

Evo One with T-harness-HON3 has been installed on a Honda CRV 2015 SE automatic push to start.

The module has been flashed using the wizard: Honda CRV 2015 automatic,, push-to-start, has OEM alarm, Remote Starter only, RFK942 kit, T-HARNESS-HON3, 3x lock, then Red and Blue programming, and Dcryptor.

The yellow light on the module turns on, and 3x lock button is working fine. This setting suffices for OEM remote car starting, the only issue is that 100 feet range is too short.

I cannot pair the RFK942 kit at all, the blue led on antenna is not on, the 4x brake push does not work, the wallet button does nothing even it is plugged in.

I need some help, please! Can be a programming issue or EVO-ONE/RF kit is not working properly?

Thanks,

2015 Honda Accord coupe ex. It has been programmed correctly. Using a T-harness the Thar-one-hon3. It's a manual transmission with push to start and I put the car in ready mode using foot brake and E-brake. Both red and yellow led on module come on when there are supposed to but after pressing my OEM remote 3 times it appears to start but will not crank. I'm about to return this and seek another option. Any help is appreciated.
