Hyundai Elantra 2016 Evo-One with Standard Key PATS

Canadian version with the immobilizer and harness THAR-ONE-KHY2

Firmware updated to latest.

Programing process completes. Yellow LED method

Question I have is....

I'm not clear with what the manual means by cutting.

A20/D4 and A10/D6 from the blue PATS ~ wire....

A10, D6 and the blue PATS ~ is tapped into the blue PATS ~

A20 to D4 is connected together...

Did the manual mean I have to use A10/D6 from the blue PATS ~ wire by breaking the connection of the blue wire from the connector

side then connecting it back to the blue PATS ~ using A20/D4 back to the blue PATS~ ?

2012 Hyundai Sonata PTS - No ignition control - EVO All

2012 Hyundai PTS

Fortin EVO All with Fortin LTE

Connected all wires as per installation instructions. Bought Flash link and flashed to 17.31 following the wizard. Programmed Frotin Evo module to vehicle(blue LED blinks rapidly). When pressing starting lock 3x - module sounds internal relay is clicking and parking light flash however dash ignition does not come on. Checking EVO all diagram - RED Connected D2 yellow/blue start+ wires goes into 1n4004 diodes - strip facing towards PTS button - then to yellow/black and yellow/orange. ignition does not turn on.

Disconnected the diodes to measure direct and yellow/blue wire for voltage output...getting zero volts when remote start is requested. Tried to reflash Fortin 4 times and still have not been able to get voltage output from d2 yellow/blue.

I am missing something or is there internal module fault?

2019 Elantra PTS, unable to program CanBus to Evo-One

Installed Evo-One on a 2019 Hyundai Elantra PTS. Verified wiring many times. When it comes to programming the module, all goes well till it’s time to program canbus section. I get it to the point the red led is flashing 5X then pauses. Push the PTS button twice to turn on ignition for canbus programming and nothing. No red led 10x then turning to blue. Any ideas into why this is happening would be great. Can usually get these figured out, but no luck here. Car has 2 different canbus hook ups, one at the obd connector and one behind the fuse panel.

Evo One won't start after 5 min or so but was working right after key bypass programming procedure

Hi, I'm kind of lost here, nobody seem to have the answer to my problem, not even Fortin when I call them for help. I installed my Evo One on my Hyundai Tucson 2020 standart key start, followed exactly all the wiring as per the guide, double check all my connection (EMS, CAN BUS, ignition wires, etc) and there's no loose cable. After that I did the key bypass programming procedure with EMS cable : hold down program button while plugging the 6 pin heavy gauge wire till it was red, plug all the others wires, press 7 times program button till it flash 6 times every second, put the key in and turn to ON. At this point the red led flashed 10 time quickly and after stayed on while the blue light started flashing quickly too. After that I turned Ignition to OFF and every light turn off. Right after that I tried to start the car by pressing LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK and the car started no problem. I then stop the car, close the door and wait...

5 min later, I tried to restart the car with the remote starter but it didn't work. The car got the lock unlock lock signal but no light is flashing on the module anymore like if it went into sleep mode or something.

I tried many thing and here is what I found out :

- If I unplug all cable from the Evo One and plug it straight back it then start receiving signal again for the next 5 min or so.

- If I open the trunk and close it back, the module seem to start back receiving signal from oem remote.

To me it feel like there is a cut off or something that stop the module from receiving any signal from the oem remote after a certain amount of time, kind if it was to prevent from draining the battery of the car.

Could also be that the Evo One is loosing the key programming after current shutting off in the car but then it shouldn't start by just unplugging and replugging the 6 pin ignition wires.

*Sorry if my english is not perfect, I usually speak french.

Remote start is in and programmed. Evo all is programmed. 2013 hyundai santa fe push to start. Hit lock button 3 times, ignition on vehicle never cranks. I have rechecked all connections and they are good. At the end of the evo-all programming it says the red led should flash 10 times, then blue should flash fast, then red flash fast. Then turn ignition off. The red flash fast never happens. I dont know of that's related or not.

Evo-One vs Evo-All

Hello,

Bear with me, I'm new to this. But I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra standard key, that I am looking to have a remote starter installed in. I was recommended to this site but I have no idea what the differences in the models are. The two that came up when I searched my car were the EVO-ONE and EVO-ALL so my questions are:

1. They are both able to remote start, so what are the major differences between them?

2. What is a t harness and why would I need one?

Thanks in advance I appreciate the help :)

Blue LED goes out during bypass programming

2008 Hyundai Sonata Evo-One doesn't have PATS wire so I didn't use red connector and light blue wires from 20 pin connector. I finished all the wiring and checked it million times. When I press programming button and plug the 6 pin connector, let go on blue, connect 20 pin, antenna, valet, and can bus, put the key turn to on position LEDs go out.

I tried turning on option 20.2 but when I plug the 6 pin connector all lights flash then they go out and nothing. I'm I missing something?

EDIT: Turned out my antenna was faulty, everything works great now.

Looks like I need to connect the horn wire from module to vehicle's (-) horn trigger, so does anyone know which wire it is for 2015 Hyundai Sonata PTS.

How do I hardwire the brake for EVO-ONE in a 2010 Hyundai Accent (Guide #60801)?

Have additional questions regarding answer (by Derek) to original question; both posted below for clarity...

	1. Had already tried reversing the can bus wires (no effect) and the option 20.2 in the remote starter was already set by default. What would 20.n be if it was not 20.2?

	2. Do all default settings assume I have PATS data wires?

	3. How do I hardwire the brake? The only place brake is mentoned in the #60801 guide is in "Vehicle functions supported in this diagram..." at the top of page 1.

	4. I also purchased the two way RF system (haven't tried to hook up yet obviously). Will hardwiring the brake and/or setting option 20.2 affect the function of that system, particularly the feedback that tells you the car is running?

 5. Answer below said: "By doing this you will skip the need to even program it on the blue light." Does this mean no programming at all is required? Should just start? Key is bypassed?

	6. If the above doesn't work, is it time to send everything back?

BTW, I don't care about alarm. Just want remote start.

	Thanks, Mike

	----------------------

	ANSWER TO ORIGINAL QUESTION

That is a typo in the troubleshooting guide. As the website states it is indeed a KHY1. I have corrected it.

You can try flipping the can bus wires see if that works. If it refuses to program I suggest the following.

Since you only get tach and frootbrake from the can bus, as long as your car is automatic transmission:

-Set option 20.2 in the remote starter

	-Hardwire the brake.

By doing this you will skip the need to even program it on the blue light.

	----------------------

	ORIGINAL QUESTION

Having trouble programming a EVO-ONE for my 2010 Hundai Accent. It has the thar-one-khy1 T-harness. Before programming I loaded the latest firm ware; 76.[54] for bypass and 1.[24] for remote starter. I loaded the suggested options for both and made sure the remote starter setting from the install guide (2.2 and 32.5) were correct. The car does not have the PATS data wires (no imobilizer). I used guide #60801 to install and programming method 2. The blue light does not flash in step 4. Just goes out and will come back on when the key is returned to off.

I used the troubleshooting guide associated with the #60801 installation guide on the flash link manager (says it is for thar-one-khy2 T-harness). The wiring is correct and have verified continuity. Voltages on the CAN wires are roughly 2.35 and 2.65.

Crutchfield sent me a second one when the first wouldn't work in case thre was something wrong with the unit. Got the same results with both. Oh, and I did cut the yellow loop for the automatic transmission. Are there any bypass/remote starter options that I might change - or anyhing else for that matter - that might get this thing working or is it just not going to work on my car?

Hi there, purchased used Santa Fe. Vehicle is equipped with E300 & EVO-ALL. Purchase of the vehicle did not come with Transmitter remotes. There is a FM antenna on the windshield. Safe to say there was a seperate remote other then OEM.

EVO ONE wont start

I have a 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.4 keystart and installed an EVO ONE with 3 lock start. First, the wire it says to cut in step 60, plug high behind fuse box is not grey/orange, it is white. The plug is not actually plugged into anything, just capped off. I flashed the unit with latest software. Everything is wired exactly as it says, except for ems com, since there is no wire. I programmed it as the instructions say, and it flashes blue. When I go to start the car, the blue light blinks with each push, but nothing. All connections seem fine, but still nothing. No horn, no flashing.

Evo All - Brake Output Delay - Sonata 2015 PTS

I did an install on my Hyundai 2015 Sonata PTS with the Compustar CM7200 brain. Everything is functional but the issue that I am having is that upon entering the vehicle after a remote start if I press the brake the car stops a few seconds later as opposed to immediately. This is a big problem as sometimes I forget to press the PTS button twice after entering the vehicle and I press the brake to put it in gear and the car shuts off while the transmission is shifting gears into reverse. This causes the car to leap as if it stalled in gear and I can be certain this is not good for the transmission at all. I've usually done installs with iDatalink and it shut off immediately as soon as I put the foot on the brake pedal before I even have the chance to switch the gear. This is my first time using the Fortin with brake input using CANBUS.

Lock and Unlock for Hyundai Elantra 2016 key start

2013 Elantra PTS - EVO-ONE Won't Start

I installed a new EVO-ONE in my 2013 Hyundai Elantra sedan PTS. I soldered the wires instead of using quick splice wire connections. I double, triple, and even 10x checked all the wiring. I even called Fortin support because some of the wires on the standard install weren't the same color coming from the car, they said it's the wire position that's most important. I also purchased the Fortin RF remote kit. I bought the unit from eBay, the seller programmed the unit for the RF kit and the car.

I checked the parking light wire to make sure it wasn't +12v, once that was hooked up and knew that all basic install wires were connected, tried the remote start, and it did not start the car. The parking lights flashed 3 times, but did not start. Lock/Unlock/Trunk Release all work, but starter does not. I tried to check the various ignition wires with a multimeter at the harness plug, but I don't know if any are supposed to send +12v from the Fortin unit or not. I previously programmed the remotes and got the responses from the car that the instructions indicated I should get. I turned on the car ignition, got orange light on EVO-ONE. Locked the doors, the antenna started flashing blue, the EVO-ONE was flashing red. When trying to remote start, the EVO-ONE flashed red I believe, until the "did not start" signal came back to the remote.

Any help I can get?

EVO-ALL and 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT PTS

Good afternoon,

Bottom line up front: EVO-ALL won't start my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT push to start.

Details:I recently purchased an EVO-ALL to use as a remote start solution, without requiring a separate remote starter add-on (the website shows I can use it this way for my vehicle). I also purchased a Flashlink unit to update the EVO-ALL to the latest stable/recommended version, without issues.

Using the Fortin diagram for wiring, it appears that several wires that would be connected to a remote starter simply aren't connected at all, such as the starter wire, parking lights, etc. I successfully programmed the EVO-ALL for my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT, and connected the wires as per the Fortin guide. I also consulted the Wirecolor guide, which showed both those same wires that I connected, as well as the seemingly unneeded wires that would connect to a remote starter.

Using the Fortin install guide, I successfully programmed the EVO-ALL when it was connected to my vehicle, but it will not remote start my vehicle. When I push the lock button, the blue LED lights up. When I push the OEM keyfob 3x times, the red LED lights up, then the yellow LED lights up, then nothing at all. The vehicle doesn't start. No ignition, no crank, no start....nothing but LED activity on the EVO-ALL and door locks.

I've used the online troubleshooting guide, and that didn't provide any helpful solutions.

Do you have any idea why this might be the case? Are those wires that I didn't connect still required, since I am not using a separate remote starter? If so, how do I connect them? The Fortin install guide assumes the user has a remote starter, and doesn't provide wiring instructions for someone who is NOT using one. The Wirecolor install guide also assumes the user has a separate remote starter module.

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this. My wife is eagerly awating her birthday present!

**By the way....I have the exact same problem with a second EVO-ALL for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe PTS...same issue, same circumstances, same result (won't start). I didn't want to make another post for this one, but he service number for this EVO-ALL is 001A06430027.

Hyundai Santa Fee XL 2014, bypass delay?

I noticed that it takes longer started with the remote starter with the key. We can see that there is a time for the transponder bypass, while the starter crank. Also, my EVO-ALL has lost its programming after 2 month. I had to reprogram it. Have you heard of any problems like that?

Thank you
