2016 Nissan Altima PCM humming sound and park lights staying on

Installed compustar alarm with remote start using a EVO-NIST4 and diagram75491, d2d cable being used. For some reason the PCM is humming and the park lights are on, what can be the issue? Do I change out the power wire fuse to a 1 amp since it comes with a 30 but I am not using those, just the D2D as the diagram says.

Brakes light up when remote starting but the 2010 Hybrid Altima does not start

This is a weird one, because the car remote starts pretty much every other remote start session. I'm not sure what's causing that as I checked the wiring and it doesnt seem like anything is wrong. So here it goes, when i try to remote start the car from far I see my brake lights turn on* (as in the brakes are being pressed) but the car does not start. the problem is mainly that the brake lights STAY ON unless I actually go to the car and start it myself, however even when i get to the car nothing pretty much works. I press the brakes myself and when I press the the push to start button it stays on lock (it goes LOCK-ACC-ON) so i pretty much freak out, unlock and lock mulitple times, press and depress the brake while keep hitting the push to start untill it goes off and then I manually start it.

using RL1 red connector in the module

* passanger side brake light does not LIGHT UP, the bulb itself works only when i run the headlights but not when i press the brakes

I have completed the install and programming everything seems to be done correctly. I did not connect the 3 wires to the bcm foot lock unlock and door pin because I don't want to. When I hit the lock button 3 times the unit clicks and attempts to start but then red light flashes 3 times and doesn't start.

using installation guide #84521. get to last step in programming(# 8 flashing yellow) which I get once I turn off ignition (by pressing the PTS button once) i get a Red & Yellow alternating flash. which would mean Decryptor is ready right? steps do not mention decryptor at all. And I dont get the decryptor option in the Flashlink Software. Have confirmed Hybrid mode is on and even attempting rolling FW back for minimum required as listed in guide

OEM Remote Control for Altima 2007/2008

Has anyone been able to figure out a workaround to have OEM Remote Control ("Lock Lock Lock") work for the Altima 2007/2008. I plan to use a cell phone starter, and my biggest reason for wanting a workaround is so that I can use the "keyless" entry method of unlocking the car once I actually walk up to the car. I want to avoid having to unlock the car soley thru the cell phone app, but instead press the button on the door handle to unlock the car and not have it shutdown. Is this possible?

Remote Start for Nissan Altima 2008. Which product?

Hello,

I am just interested in installing a remote start for my NIssan Altima 2008. After using the website to show me which products are compatible, it gives me the EVO-ALL or the EVO-ONE and I'm not sure which one to choose. Is choosing one of these products all I need? or is there something else I need?

I am just interested in the remote start and nothing else. Also, I prefer to use the original key FOB to remotely start the car.

Thanks,

3x lock doesn’t shut down engine just accessories

2017 Nissan Altima Evo-All with T-harness in stand alone. 3x lock starts just fine. Accessories all come on inside, radio, a/c, dash lights. Problem is if I 3x lock to turn off car or let runtime timer run down to shut down car, accessories all turn off but engine does not. Only way everything shuts down after remote start is if I manually press the start/stop button in car. Also when remote starting parking lights flash as starting but don’t stay on to show car is running.
2008 Altima PTS EVO-ALL, cannot shut down after remote start

Installed an EVO-ALL in 2008 Altima SE PTS. The EVO starts the car with 3xlock, but will not shut the car off with 3xlock. The blue led on the evo blinks with push of lock on oem fob, but only before a remote start. After car is running under remote start, the blue led on evo no longer resonds to lock commands.

So basically, the evo is seeing lock commands only before a remote start. After remote start, the evo no longer sees lock commands.

Also, the car shuts down after door is opened. All wires are connected as per instructions.

Any ideas?

No Start

EVO-NIST1 with the t harness all connected properly at the key port connector the ODBII connector and the brake pedal connector. EVO loaded with the latest firmware and programmed per the instructions and did get the flashing blue, yellow and red lights. I even added the REVO RF remote but when it comes time to remote start the car nothing. After pressing lock lock lock I see the EVO blue light coming one. Then the EVO does its cycle to red light and I get the brake light confirmations but no start. The dashboard does not even come on and I swapped between RL1 and RL2.

I puchased the EVO-ALL with the THAR-NIS1. The directions are a litte misleading to me, the application guide shows this as being able to be used as a standalone remote starter. However the instructions show a seperate remote start as being needed. It shows I also need a seperate RF kit for that particular year Altima, however I see other technical questions being asked and the people are using the factory keyfob and are pressing lock 3x to remote start.

Remote start does not work on Altima 2012

I'm having a strange issue with my EVO-NIS1 remote starter, I initially installed the kit without connecting the parking light wire, the remote starter worked well for 2 days. I woke up in the morning and the car battery was dead, I jumped the car but the remote starter stopped working, I checked the wiring and everything seemed fine, i reprogrammed the EVO with the flash link and reconnected the wires and did the programming as I did initially. The problem that I faced is not seeing any red or blue lights, It got stuck at the steady yellow (step 4). the car still works fine but without the remote starter which is still installed, the only time the remote start worked is when i was in the car already. I went back to connect the parking light and tried to program it again but i still got stuck at the steady yellow light. I don't know what to do to get passed step 4. Please help. Thanks.

I installed and evo one with a crimestopper remote start and everything works fine. however i noticed if I unlock the doors by pushing the button on the remote i need to follow the takeover procedure by pressing the PTS button twice as stated in the instructions, HOWEVER if I keep the key in my pocket and push the button on the door handle to unlock it does the takeover procedure automaticly without me having to push the PTS button at all. Can anyone else confirm this?

Will EVO-NIST1 support a manual transmission in a 2010 Nissan Altima?

I'm wondering if the EVO-NIST1 will support remote start on my 2010 Nissan Altima with PTS since I have a manual transmission. I heard an EVO-ALL with the harness would possibly work as well. I want to install it as a starter using the OEM intelligent key 3x lock button.
2011 Altima Auto-headlights never turn off with remote shutdown with OEM remote

Hi, I just recieved my EVO-NIST1 and I'm loving it! The only two issues I have are:

1) Auto headlights never turn off if I remote shutdown and don't open the doors. I have confirmed that the door pink/black wire is connected by remote starting in the car then pressing the brake. The engine shuts off. It doesn't do this if I open the door before pressing the brake.

2) Doors don't relock when remote shutdown is engaged. I have to press lock a 4th time on my OEM remote to lock the doors and arm the alarm.

Altima 2012 - Car Not Shut Off from long distance but Starts

Hi, I just installed EVO-NIST1 as per Installation Guide in my Nissan Altima 2012 (Push to Start - Auto transmission) for using my OEM Key Fob to Remote Start and OEM Key Fob to Remote Shut Off.

Note : Flashed with the Latest Recommended Firmware for Nissan Altima 2012. Configured first Mode (Remote Starter) - Options enabled (A1,A2,A3, B1, C1, D1, D1.6, D2, D5, D6)

Also configured mode bypass with same options mentioned aboved.

Ever things works as it should be,

From Distance (car) 1-8 meters when I press lock button x 3 times (OEM Fob key) car starts and when I press lock button x 3 times again car shut off.

From Distance (car) 10-30 meters when I press lock button x 3 times (OEM Fob key) car starts and when I press lock button x 3 times again Car NOT SHUT OFF. Until I walk in distance under 8-7 meters to car than if I press lock button x 3 times Car shut off.

What I don't understand if I've a problem with OEM Key Fob distance limitation than how come I able to Start Car from long distance ( 10-30 meters) but at same distance Not able to shut off.

Help me out with this issue, is there any optin that I need to enable or disable ?

2007 Altima auto headlight does not turn off

2007 Altima

First question: When the headlights are set to auto and I remote start the vehicle using a timer start function the headlights don't turn off when the remote start shuts off. Can the EVO-All shut off the headlights?

Similiarly if I remote start the vehicle and don't enter the vehicle and turn the remote start off the headlights stay on.

Second question: When I activate the remote start while vehicle is on/running to valet takeover, vehicle shuts off when I re-enter. I activate remote start before exiting the vehicle then use the remote start fob to lock the doors and car is running off remote start. I then unlock with remote start fob and enter the vehicle, but when I hit the brake pedal the vehicle shuts off. It should allow takeover as it does normally.

	Bypass: EVO-All - Installation connection 5. D2D connection

2008 Altima Issue

When using an EVO-ALL on a 2008 Altima (push to start) with firmware 76.16, the car starts by only pushing lock once (so you can't lock the car without it starting). I can't get any other firmwares to start the car at all (not even light up when the car is locked). I tried the recommended 76.14, 76.09, 4.18, and 4.08 and nothing works. Is there a firmware that will start a 2008 Altima by pushing lock 3 times instead of once?

2008 Nissan Altima wiring info

I'm going to use a EVO-ALL to install a Avital 5303L alarm\remote start and looking at guide #3694 it does not list a 2008 push to start (AT) but I assume I could use the 09-12 guide. Am I right?

Looking at the 09-12 info, do i just need to hookup the wires labeled to make the whole system work or do I also need to hookup any remaining wires needed from the remote start system

What are all the Stand-Alone options?

With the different ways to get to Options, and different formats within those ways, I do not fully understand what I can do to program the EVO as a Stand-Alone. Options from the lower right button seems to have a lot more to them than Options from the upper tab.

Is there a manual that states what exactly each feature does?

Is there a setting that will prevent my car (2010 Altima) from unlocking the doors after turning off when the EVO runs for its allotted time (or quickly re-locking them)?

Thank you,
