Starter issues

My vehicle

Nissan Rogue Sport 2017

Oem remote start with key I added this to extend the range of remote start

My setup issues I have an evo all unit installed and working following the steps and guide I firstly had this unit installed around a 6 months the OEM starter went bad it was changed out and I reinstalled the unit with new updates the first time used I did not get any ideas of an issues but the following day after remote start the vehicle was making loud noises brush noise screeching and I cant describe it but it was very loud I open the hood and it seems like it was near the new starter and ideals if the remote start is messing up the vehicle. The current vehicle came with keys for remote start lock3× and a button for remote start.

2011 Nissan Rogue - Auto headlights stay on

2011 Nissan Rogue w/ Intelli-Key EVO-ONE with T-Harnesses.

When headlights are set to AUTO and a 3x Start is triggered the lights stay on after the remote start either times out or is manually stopped via the key fob or brake input. Door trigger wire (Dark Blue) doesn't seem to have any effect on this. I even tried to ground it out directly to see if it would turn the lights off.

Anything else to try?

Fortin EVO-ALL 2015 Nissan Rogue - Locking/Unlocking While Driving

Just installed an EVO All with the Nis3 Harness last night. While driving the car the unit unlocks and locks while flashing the turn signals every few seconds.

I am curious as to what this could be. I've updated all firmware and enabled all unit options that were in the install manual.

What could this be?

2022 Nissan Rogue remote start push start

I am installing a remote start to a 2022 Nissan Rogue, the installation guide says that 1 key will be sacrificed in the installation and the key in a box, I don't understand what that means, nor about sacrificing the key, nor about the key in the box, I need if someone could help me with that, thank you very much

2013 Rogue with standard key will not remote start

I bought this Rogue used with the the Evo-All and Pursuit Pro9776C remote starter installed. It worked perfectly for a week or so then stopped. Now when locked, remote starting will trigger the alarm. If it is unlocked with the remote, it starts the start sequence and all lights on the dash light up and the doors do an unlock sequence, but then nothing. I can leave key in the barrel and disconnect all but red connector on the Evo-All and it will go through the start sequence 3 times and it will start for a secord or so and shut down. I have successfully made sure that the tach sense is working properly. What other connections should I take a look at?

fuse size for 12v | Nissan rogue 2023

2014 Nissan Rogue EVO-ALL Parasitic Drain

I installed and programmed an EVO-NIST3 on a 2014 Nissan Rogue SL.

The remote start functionality works on the car, and it doesn't bring up any errors, but after installing the system, the car battery keeps going dead within hours.

A parasitic draw test reveled the EVO to be the culprit, adding 600-750mA of load on the battery even after the car has been sitting for 15-20 minutes, locked with all doors closed.

The problem seemed to be fixed after unplugging each harness connector from the BCM and replugging them, as the current was reduced to under 50mA total, and the battery survived nearly 8 hours without losing charge, but the next morning the battery was dead, and after charging, the battery had a parasitic load of nearly 800mA (again confirmed to be mostly from the EVO)

Yellow light stays solid 2008 Nissan Rogue

I installed this Fortin one kit on my wifes Rogue as per the instructions and it is hung on the 4th step of the programing instructions. AS I dig into the troubleshooting manual it keeps going back to make sure tx and rx are hooked properly. Well everything has been installed per the instructions so what have I missed.

Also the guide number that was sent with thi kit is a #79451 which does not show up doing any search for this vehicle. I already regret my purchase of a fortin remote start kit.

Nissan Rogue 2014 Push to start - Blue light does not flash when start pushed

Following the steps. Program button pressed when data plug in. Stop on blue.

Blue stays solid. Plug in rest of plugs.

Press start once (no brake pedal) and all Evo-all module lights turn off. Nothing else happens. This is where the blue LED should flash three times, but it does not.

When I press stop again (after waiting a bit) blue light goes on solid.

Testing remote start (press 3 times) nothing happens. Blue light stays on.No remote start occurs. On a side note, it did flood the Car with gas, as I heard the feul pump run and had to hold hte starter down for almost a minute to clear it.

Bought as part of T-harness kit Evo-NIST3.

Also, Do I need to install Hood switch and valet lock if I have an Evo-all and Fortin T-Harness?"
Evo-All on 2014 Nissan rogue causing check engine and 4WD error lights

It is a 2014 Nissan Rogue with the flip key. Installed using guide 75221 back in March of this year. Install was done by soldering. There was no issues during install, and no issues programming the module. I remote started the vehicle for 5 cycles before customer picked it up. No error lights. Customer called last week (8 months later) and said the check engine light came on, and the 4WD error light came on. They took it to the Nissan Dealership and they said the remote start is causing the issue because it was installed incorrectly. #1 I have done this exact install over a dozen times this past year and no one else has has an issue. #2 why would all of a sudden after 8 months it suddenly cause an issue? #3 is it possible there is a lag in the CAN Bus that is causing the error similar to some of the Chryslers where I need to change the firmware? #4 Why would this install be done 13 times on 14-18 Rogues and only this one have an issue?

Lock & unlock buttons work but no remote start (Evo-All)

I just completed an install & am attempting to remote start my 2012 Nissan Rogue (base model with standard key) with the Prestige APS787E alarm and it isn't starting. I have the Forting EVO-ALL bypass hooked up along side it in D2D (data to data) mode. I can confirm that my lock, unlock & trunk buttons work perfectly on my Prestige remote but once I attempt to do a remote start, my amber parking lights flash exactly seven times.

Also when I attempt to do a remote start, I notice no lights flash on the Evo-All, is this normal?

Moreover, I didn't hook up the hood pin switch that came w/ my alarm kit. Could that be the issue? Does the Prestige require the hood pin switch to be connected for the remote start to function? WIrecolor.com said my Nissan has a hoodpin switch but I physically couldn't find one under the hood.

	Thanks & happy holidays

EVO-ONE and NIST2 T-Harness 2010 Nissan Rogue reg key

Hi, I installed a EVO-ONE with NIS2 T-Harness on a 2010 Nissan Rogue (regular key) along with a REVO ONe RF kit. I was able to program the unit, but upon testing, the fuse in the T-Harness (Red) kept blowing. I narrowed it down to the tap I did to the parking light wire (Cut white wire on power connector in T-Harness and tapped to pink wire with silver dots (wire 71 in wirecolor photos) by driver kickplate). Once I disconnected the tap from the pink/silver dot wire, the autostart worked but parking lights would not go on. The guide states that this is the positve parking light wire and no relay needed. Am I using the wrong wire?

Also, the guide stated to connect purple wire in T-Harness (Arm) to red wire in drivers kick panel, and purple/white wire (disarm) to blue wire in drivers kick panel. However the photos of the wires in wirecolor (wires number 104 red w 2 silver dots and 106 blue w 2 silver dots) referenced are the ones I used. I tapped the wires shown in the photos, but when I autostart, it triggers the vehicle alarm. Are these the wrong wires or does this sound like a programming issue?
2) With key wrap in place will the doors still lock?

3) Will the prox sensors still function correctly?

4) Will the car continue to run after remote started and the door is opened.
Nissan Rogue 2009 with Intelli-Key and Evo-One 3xLock

Hi, Fortin support.

I'm planning on installing Evo-One (standalone 3xLock remote start, no T-harness) into 2009 Nissan Rogue with Intelli-Key. I have a couple of questions before I proceed:

a) If the car is remote started would it still keep the car locked?

b)Once car door is opened, would it kill the engine? If not, would it be fine to just insert key to On position, press brake pedal and drive right away?

c) Will proximity sensor function the same way after install?

d) Car has a factory alarm, but since Evo-One module detects door lock signal via CanBus, will I need to tap into Arm/Disarm wires of the car ?

Thanks,
Nissan Rogue EVO-ALL connection guide conflict

	Edited for clarity:

EVO-ALL (Guide #3694) (2008 Nissan Rogue Regular Key) states that Pink/Black (A15) coming from the 20-pin connector taps into the driver (FL) door pin. (Connection 3, p. 9)

However, WireColor shows this same wire (Pink/Black @ EVO-ALL) as being the Hood Pin.

	Which is correct?

Connection 4, guide 3694, Svc#001A06-283395

Hi. I'm currently working on my 2013 Nissan Rogue (w/intelli-key) but am encountering a roadblock on the ignition key barrel locking up when wired. I have read the troubleshooting section to take the other Red/White wire which is supposedly a key-sense and wire it up (diode isolated). So my question(s) is/are:

Do I wire it to the same Blue/White wire coming from the evo (red connector)? If so do I use a 1A diode as well? And so there are three(3) wires now on the same Blue/White wire (B/R-1st Key sense, R/W-Tumbler sense, and the other R/W-2nd Key-sense.

So therefore, I can't insert the key and turn the tumbler.

Hoping for a solution soon. Please lead me to the right path...

Many thanks.

Nissan 2014 Rogue PTS Remote Installation

We have recently purchased a 2014 Rogue with PTS. Is there a way to install a remote starter and still have all the original vehicle safety features intact, like key in proximity to unlock. If so could I wire it up myself or do you have a distributor near Saskatoon Saskatchewan that you could recommend to do a good job?
Solution for 2014 Rogue?

Has anyone figured anything out for the 2014 Rogue? I took one apart the other day, and was surprised how different the BCM and fuse box were to the previous Rogue as well as compared to platforms like the Pathfinder and Juke. Directechs has the full wiring information but I'm curious when Ifar is expecting a bypass solution.
2013 Nissan Rogue regular key not remote starting

I have programmed the EVO-ALL Bypass with no problem... I have a Compustar CS600S remote start, it is connected to the EVO-ALL D2D... When I try the remote start button off the remote the EVO-ALL YELLOW LED blinks 3 times along with the parking lights pauses then blinks one more time along with the parking lights.

I can't seem to find anywhere online what that means.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?
