Jeep has power but does not crank?

I have programmed the unit sn: 001A07 415854 Evo All. Installed with wiring harness THAR-CHR4 (Both Yellow wires on the harness are connected together). Programmed the unit. All these went according to the documentation, correct leds and all.

My vehicle is a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0CRD Limited with Start Button

I do the 3x Lock Blue Led comes on every time I press the lock button. Then all power comes on, a few seconds later the red and yellow led is solid and the radio shuts off just like it does while it cranks but no crank??

What could I be doing wrong?

	Many Thanks!!

2018 Ford Edge will not crank.

Installed Evo-All with Thar-3 into a 2018 Ford Edge push to start, using guide 68921. Module # 001A07 017412, no RF kit installed. Using the OE remote on the lock-unlock-lock, the dash will power up and park lamps will turn on like it wants to start.

Unit will not crank, after the second attempt, the lights will flash 3 times indicating. Changed setting D4 to hybrid on/tachless mode, and the vehicle will act like it turns on and park lights will stay illuminated. Still does not crank.

Have the black 4 pin, white 20 pin, white 5 pin, red 6 pin connecters all attached. I believe I have all the required wiring connected.

Installation shows one end of the black 4 pin going to a remote starter with AVEC Data-Link? Does this need to be connected to something? Tried to tie it into the diag connector temporarily as shown without data-link with no change. Will this Evo-All not act as a remote starter? What am I missing?

Remote start not working and door chimes with lights off!?

Was cleaning up the install and must have unplugged the unit the wrong way. Now the car won’t crank again, and ready mode works up until the last step which is relocking the car after door closes and car shuts down. I have relock enabled on both sides of the unit, tried reflashing and changing different options with no luck. On top of that now my door chimes with the parking lights hooked up and it didn’t do that before and all my lights are off. The headlights don’t give any diagnostic flashes either. Using t-harness and correct guide.

2013 Honda Accord PTS Manual transmission with Evo One and HON 3. Used guide 57151 with no luck. Tried putting car in ready mode not working. tried remote starting with 3x OEM remote nothing, no crank. No led lights turn on when trying to remote start and headlights arent flashing. Even tried connecting the pink wire to a test light to see if maybe i had the incorrect headlight wire. The vehicle will start normally and the yellow led will turn on on the unit. I was able to program the unit and decrypt it with no issues, Ive also tryed this twice with no luck. Please help!

2015 malibu no crank no start

I installed an evo all gmt1 in a 2015 malibu flip key. I used a flash link to update firmware and do the key dcryptor. I also have a 2 way lora 9 rf kit. The install and all programming of the unit went as it should. ( all lights and flashes correct ) However the vehicle wont start. It doesnt even attempt too. When using the 3x lock the evo all sees it ( flashes when the lock button is pressed ) then nothing. Also with the 2 way rf transmitter the evo all and antenna see it and the transmitter responds with green light and audible tune but the same result occurs after that. The car does not attempt to start. I have installed an evo all before so this is not my first install and I went over the programming of the unit and the keys / transmitter numerous times. Any ideas on what could be the hang up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

EVO ALL D4&D6 connection question - car wiring doesn't match directions

2009 Chevy Cobalt trying to hook up the D4 & D6 PK3 wires. Instructions say white connector & pin 2 is Red/White. My connector is black and the colors are 1 Red/White, 2 Brown, 3 Black/White, 4 Green, 5 Blank Do I still hook up pin 2 or the Red/White wire?
2004 Durango...Ignition turns on but no crank

I just installed an EVO-ONE using the THAR-CHR5 harness per Guide #16671 (which BTW is missing telling you to cut the yellow loop for an automatic). Everything appeared to program correctly and when I press the Lock button on the fob 3x I can see the blue light flash, then the red one comes on and Ignition comes up and the fuel pump primes, but it does not crank at all.

Now I suspect the issue may be linked to the fact that I do not have the front doors installed at this time, so I think the unit is seeing the doors as open (and it'd be right).

Also, I have not installed the hood pin yet so the wire is currently floating.

Any suggestions?

Thank!

Remote starter turns ignition on but engine is not ready

Hello i just installed evo-all on my toyota c.hr hybrid with t-harness, i m using this guide:

https://fortin.ca/download/87601/evo-all_ig_tsa_bi_toy6-chr_2019_pts-hybrid_euro_a_87601.pdf

When i press three times the lock button ignition goes on but the engine stays off, a/c goes on but the air is hot, the engine should crank but nothing happens, only the dashboard instrument of the car is on. The "ready" n the dashboard symbol that means the engine is ready to go is off, seems that the immobilizer has been not bypassed.

I discovered also that the a16 wire even if connected or not doesn't change the result. engine doesn t start but ignition goes on.

Look at the module and no lights appear. Tried with the key and nothing. Took it all out and replugged the factory harnesses on the ignition switch. Tried with key again and still nothing.

Unit settings are as required (car is back with it's owner at the moment and I forgot to grab the service number), connections look solid and the automatic loop is cut.

Programming seems to have worked fine, and lock/unlock/trunk release all work perfectly. I've doubled checked that the car was not in valet mode.

Upon pressing remote start (using a Fortin brand RF kit), the parking lights light up and the red and yellow lights on the unit light up. The car seems to go to accessory or ignition mode, but right when it would be at the cranking point, nothing happens. I get 4 flashes (No Tach Signal?), then it retries with the same result.

The No Tach Signal seems to be the issue here, but I'm not sure why. My only thought is regarding the wiring diagram on this car. As per the instructions, there are no wires going to the canbus lo/hi, could that be a problem? Or do the tx/rx wires of the installation cover that?

EDIT: Other notes: The car starts fine without the remote start, and will still not crank even with the key in the ignition.

'07 Jeep GC, MUX voltage, key on- no crank, verifying wiring connections

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel Automatic, EVO-CHRT5 T harness, standalone F diagram. 74.07 firmware, 6.0 hardware, Bypass checked "on" are A1,3,7 C1, D1, D2, all other options are checked "off". OEM key programming was successful. When I push lock 3X the ingition comes on but engnine does not crank. I checked ignition connection after lock 3x, the power consant (white /blue) =12v and starter cranking (white/red) = 11.9v. The MUX voltage (VOM on green /red and chassis ground) with no key =4.19v, key in=3.61v, key on=.993v, crank =.36v.... when remote starting "key on" =1.05v, "key off"=4.19v, cranking = .40V. .. I also have error codes/warnings ( trans temp, 4WD system fault) that appear on dash when it tries to remote start. I have attached pic of wiring to the ingnition connection. I'm questioning MUX voltage and correct wiring? attached pics. the wires are soldered to pins in connector

Module receives command but no crank

Hi,I have 2016 Subaru Legacy with Evo One with T-Harness,,when trying to remote start dash lights comes on but Car does not crank, parking lights 3x flash before and 4xflash after remote start attempt.

Also I checked voltage white and yellow wires,

1)during remote starting voltage is detected on white wire but NOT on yellow at connector plugged in the ignition,

2)also on the connector(T-harness side) that is plug on the oem ignition connector also has no voltage on yellow wire but has voltage on white when attempting to remote start, but on the module 6pin connector the yellow wire and white wire both have voltage.

when using key to start both yellow and white wire has voltage on all side of connectors.

2016 Chrysler 200 3 Flashes - No Tach Detected - Ignition on but no crank:

I have walked through the troubleshooting guide and checked all of the programming/wire issues that could occur. Any other items to test or check to get the car to remote start?

The car attempts to start twice before failing and providing the diagnostic codes.

Wired exactly as the install guide said but car won't even try to crank.

Installed an Evo-One and Fortin RF642W 2 way RF kit in a 2003 Buick Century. Followed "connection 1" and "programming 1" as stated to by this install guide. http://fortin.ca/download/23261/evo-one_ig_reg_bi_gm_j1850_b_23261.pdf

All wiring has been verified multiple times to be exactly what the install guide said to do...nothing more and nothing less.

When I try to remote start the car, via the 2 way remote, the car will power on but will not crank the starter at all. When I use the remote to kick the car into "idle mode", the car unlocks as it should but shuts off when I turn the ignition off to pull the key.

Bypass portion programmed fine....RF remote also programmed fine.

Literally, the only wires connected at the moment are what the install guide I linked above says.

Evo All turns red, then yellow, but doesn't cranks

2010 F150: Unit will flash blue three times with remote (push lock), Red light turns on, then orange light, Orane light goes out, then repeats red on + orange on, then ends with three red flashes. Seems like its trying to work, but no crank. Accessories turn on, radio, etc.

I had this unit working last night, but in the process of cleaning up wiring (cutting loose wires and taping all connections, the unit stopped working. I have repreogrammed since as I master reset, C1 and D1 active, a1-a11 on, everything else off - including D2.

I removed all not required wiring and have the following:

4 pin: 12 Volt and and ground: Verified 12V w Multi meter

20 Pin: rx / tx / and yellow ignition. Verified 12 Volts on ignitiion wire. Using the FOR1 T harness on this

CAN wiring: Verified 5 Volts here: 2.35V and 2.5V (Blue lights when using Key Fob)

Ignition plug: I am tapping into vehicle ignition plug and wiring to top section of FOR1 T harness. I cut off the T harness connectors wire since I have an 2010, but splice into the 12V / Ignition / Starter / accesories of the T harness to use the diodes. I checked the diodes for increased resistance. I know the T harness is not technically compatible with 2010 F150, but 3 less splices at top of the ignition barrel and diodes already soldered in.

My troubleshooting: I ran a separate wire from the yellow/blue start wire and couldn't track a votlage increase when triggering unit remote start (Lock 3 times). I am at a loss and looking for insight on where to look. I feel like I have checked every connection, but assuming it has to be one of them. Maybe a damaged plug at the unit...could I have shorted something and smoked the unit in all the testing?

	*********** Follow up ******

I removed all tape I had apllied, took each connection apart and re did. pushed in all connections and the unit started. Tried taping things back up by the unit and it stopped working. Found issue in D wiring plug as 12V ignition wire pulled out. All the testing and pusing and pulling broke the wire.

Respliced a new D port from a different unit I bought. It works...Yeah. Tape up top portion of wires, making sure ot test the unit every few areas. Unit stopped working. This was the driver of most of my problems prior to the last one.

****** DO NOT ASSUME THE T HARNESS HAS GOOD CONNECTIONS - THEY ARE NOT SOLDERED !!!!

Two connection in the T harness between the ignitiion barrel was bad, specifically the ground was not making connections. In the process of fixing that, another connection that was barely hanging on slipped out of the connector. Any bending in this are is libel to pull out a wire.

Re spliced the two connections in the T harness and all seems good.

Final take: be careful on T harness connections. when you are using a continuity testing, I unplugged the harness to check , which would get the connection back together. It finally clicked when I actually tried using the key to start at the Alarm light would flash rapidly that it had to be at the ignition barrel.

	*******************

	Thank you

2013 Excape, ignition powers up, no crank

2013 Ford Escape. Using the EVO-FORT1 with THarness. Have the flashlink updater. Unit is updated to 71.34. I have the THarness wired to the 4 wires from the 20 pin. The locks work. I did have a hard time getting it programmed to the car. I used the 2 key method. It was always the second key would not register the bypass. But it is programmed now. I hit the 3xlock, the red light turns on solid, then the yellow light comes on solid and the iginition powers up. after about 5-6 secs. both lights go out, and the iginition powers down. Then it retrys. solid red light, then solid yellow light, iginition powers up, after 5-6 sec, the red light flashes 3 times, then everything powers down.

The 2 CAN-BUS wires are connected. When it attempts to starts, the are 7.3v at the yellow/black wire that is connected to 20pin yellow wire (A1) and Purple/Yellow (16).

2006 Chrysler 300 srt8 stand alone install

When installing do I need a relay or resistor? I have followed your instructions per the manual. The device has been updated and program to my car. I have both yellow cables from the 20 pin and t-harness connected to each other parking lights connected to the headlight switch and start/stop to the ignition harness. When I click lock 3x all electrical lights up but the car never cranks or turns on. Is that because I need the resistor and relay? Or is my wiring connected wrong? Please help
