Evo one and dsm550 extended runtime

The smartstart pro app gives me the option of extending the remote start runtime by another 15 minutes. However, my truck still shuts down after the original 15 minutes. How do I fix this?

I have managed to successfully install The EVO-ONE into my 2011 Kia soul. Standard Key, With immobilizer using the T-Harness.

The Key bypass has been successfully programmed and the vehicle starts/stops normally, however, when trying to initiate the remote key pairing for the RFK411 kit, I cannot get the antenna to initiate the sequence.

When turning the ignition on/off/on the antenna light does not become blue, and if I tap the brakes 4 x, there is no flashing light either to get the unit to go into pairing mode. Have tried re-setting the Evo-one and again, they key programs fine but I cannot initiate RF pairing mode.

Remote start not working on evo one with THAR-ONE-HON5 T harness and 942rf kit

I initially was able to successfully connect my EVO one to my 2009 honda accord with the HON5 T harness. The OEM key fob worked fine starting the car (I programmed it to lock, unlock, and lock), then I went to install and pair the 942 RF kit. After pairing the 2 remotes, it was able to lock and unlock the car just fine, but when I pressed the (+) button twice to check the status of the car, it gave me the wrong status beeps (it was telling me the car was unlocked when it was actually locked). Next I tried remote starting from the 942 remotes and it wouldn't start, it would give me the green confirmation saying that it started, and then later beep/flash red that it failed to start 3 seconds later. Then i tried using the OEM fob to start (which previously worked) but didn't work as well.

Both the module and antenna are up to date. I tried fixing it by reflashing the evo one with the same settings I used in the beginning, and reconnected it to the car. I made sure all the connections were intact (including ground), and even tried reprogramming the module to the car, which seemed to be successful according to the light sequences outlined in the installation guide. Still not working after this. I also tried the master reset (https://12voltdoesit.com/uploads/docs/Fortin/EVO-ONEMasterReset.pdf - *I used the bypass side*), which didn't do anything. I removed all the connections for now while trying to resolve the issue.

I have a 2017 Spark key.

I connected the Wire to Wire as per the instructions.

When I press the key 3 times lock the switch will open but don't start and the light flashed 3 times red.

When running the engine and shutdown by using the key and pull out then i press the lock 3 times the vehicle runing! and i can put the key in and drive, but if I press the brake the engine stop and I cannot start again from the remote (If i try the switch will open but will not try to start) I must use the key again to start and stop the engine and pull out to I can start again by using the lock button with someone below firmware version!.

Sometimes the engine starts and stop immediately.

I tried firmware version 70.46 & 70.41 & 70.42 & 70.43 & 70.44

I purchased a 'Start-X Remote Starter Plug N Play for Infiniti Q50 14–20' on amazon, I was not satisfied with the oem key fob range so I bought the 'Fortin RFK411 1-way Rf Kit' to help out, but I have no instructions to get it work or programmed. I do have my flasher. Can somebody help me get Fortin RFK411 1-way Rf Kit working for my 2015 Infiniti q50 push to start! I need intrustions!

2017 Forester can't program DCryptor

2017 Forester X, key start, new EVO-One, installed per Guide #97491w/THAR-ONE-SUB1 t-harness, all connections made per pin location, not wire color. When I reach Step 5 on the DCryptor programming and start the car, I get red/blue on solid and they stay on even after the car is shut off, until I pull the 6-pin. Car starts normally with the key if the EVO-One is connected, will not start with the red plug disconnected, which I believe is correct. I've reset and reprogrammed the module twice with the same result.

Update after reading multiple other recommendations about getting to solid red and blue at step 5: 1. Instructions say to use Firmware 84.11 (minimum), I have 84.12 and .11 is not available. 2. I checked continuity from pin 10 (light blue) of the 20 pin connector (IMO signal) to pin D1 (Yellow/green) IMO body side and have continuity. Car starts and immediately quits with red "D" connector unplugged, starts and runs normally with it plugged in. 3. Have battery voltage at E1 (white) and E5 (pink) with ignition on, no power with ignition off. Module SN:002B04 656833.

2015 Kia Sorento Standard Key T-Harness Evo-One Step 4 Solid Amber Light

Installing a Evo-One in a 2015 Kia Sorento with T-Harness and standard key. Completed wiring. Spliced yellow A1 into pink ignition wire in T-Harness. Cut white wire in T-Harness. I have flashed the Evo-One with the lastest firmware in both remote start connection and bypass mode. In FlashLink Manager for desktop Pro Mode, I set the mode to OEM Lock-Unlock-Lock on 38.4(?). I am using an OEM key. That is the only option I configured.

With the key out, I plug in the 6 wire harness while holding the programming button. Lights flash red->blue->red & blue->yellow and I release the button. Yellow is solid on, other lights are off. I plug in the remaining connectors. Insert the key into ignition, and turn to RUN position. The light stays solid yellow.

I have probed the C2 & C4 and have 2.4v for CAN-Low at the C connector. I have 2.6v at the C1 & C3 connector for CAN-High. I can not get to the blue flashing x10 times in the programming steps.

Car starts normally with key.

I have a Evo one I am installing on a 2017 Subaru outback and when I get to step 5 of programing where it says to start the car the blue and red light stay on and I don't get the flashing red light. I looked at the troubleshooting and it said to make sure the immobilizer is wired correctly which it is, what do I do?

We installed an Evo-One on this RVR 2018 with factory HID headlights and LED Fog light using 23101 guide. We followed the guide to a T, the issue we are have is that as you remote start the vehicle using 3X lock the vehicle starts properly, but if the lights are set on automatic, the headlights and LED lights flash continuously as well if you turn off the lights and remote started the Vehicle the LED fog lights flash continuously both will flash until you take over the vehicle. Has anybody come across this? We think it might be a faulty EVO one module any thoughts please help.

2018 VW Tiguan Standard Key, Automatic Trans, no Heated steering wheel

I have the THAR-VW6 installed correctly.

The EVO-ALL will not program.

When trying to program, I hold down the programming button and connect the data link cable, light goes to blue, I release, all 3 light flash.

I have an R-link and a Flashlink.

I've flashed the EVO-ALL with the correct firmware.

2018 SUBARU OUTBACK (US Model) - EVO ONE - THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 - Module will not program

This is on my 2018 Subaru Outback, US model

REGULAR KEY - Automatic Transmission - No factory alarm system (from what I can tell) - Yes factory immobilizer

Remote Start: Fortin EVO One. Firmware Version: 84.12. Using Flashlink USB programmer.

Wire Harness: THAR-SUBONE-SUB1 & THAR-SUBONE-SUB3 (both SUB1 & SUB3 harnesses simultaneously I guess? Though initially unsure, I went forward & did order and installed both as shown in the diagram linked in the next line down. Specifically, on page 5 out of Ten, the page with the heading: THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 | AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONNECTION )

Before connecting to the car, I:

1. connected the evo one to my laptop & ran the flashlink software.

2. The software recognized the USB programmer.

3 Then I plugged in the Evo One module & confirmed it was detected in flashlink software

4. I logged in, then input the following vehicle data: 2018 subaru outback, regular key .

5. I let the flashlink software download the newest firmware & recommended settings for the 2018 subaru outback
6. I hit the program button to send the configuration to the Evo One

7. Disconnected Evo one from the flashlink programmer & held down the programming button

8. While holding down the programming button, plugged in the 6 pin connector from the Sub-One harness, at this point installed in the car, to the Evo One

9. Continued holding down programming button while the red yellow & blue lights cycled, then released the button when the lights were lit up RED & Blue simultaneously

10. Began to press the programming button 6 times to enter the programming mode

11. However, right after the very first push of the programming button the red & blue lights would blink once & then go back to solid red & blue so I continued pushing 5 more times to get a total of 6 presses.

13. At this point, the module is blinking red & blue simultaneously 5 times in a row > pause > blink red & blue 5x again > pause > red & blue 5x blink > continues in perpetuity until I insert the vehicle key & turn it to the Ignition 2 position (2 clicks/aka accessory mode)

12. Soon as key turns to ignition 2 setting, The RED & BLUE lights both light up & stay on continuously.

13. The instructions say to start the car at this point, but turning the key from Ignition 2 to Start does not cycle the starter. No lights dim, no clicking from relays, it is not even trying to start.

14. I hold the key in start position for about 2-3 seconds, then release it back to ignition 2 which would leave the vehicle running normally if it had started at this point

15. The red & blue lights on the evo one continue to stay lit continuously & never reach the part where they flash 10 times, ostensibly because the engine never even started still which does make sense.

I guess my question is, does this have anything to do with the jumper that is shown in the PDF? I don't understand what the diagram is trying to say with the Jumper A & Jumper B section. Does the jumper in jumper A need to be removed? And then the cable in the jumper b position get plugged back into the Sub 3 harness? But only for the outback & legacy models of the car? I'm not quite clear what I'm supposed to do with the jumper A OR the Jumper B. So I just left them both plugged in.

After a while sitting in ignition 2 position with the red & blue lights lit up on the evo still, I just gave up & turned the key off then unplugged the : 5p Data link wire > 6p red plug > 20p white plug > 6p main power plug from the evo to turn it off. Then plugged it back into the flashlink programmer & attempted to see if I could do the decryptor programming anyway, but as expected I get the notification that the module never received the datalink information

I also tried reflashing the module once or twice to be sure the settings stuck, the behavior of the vehicle stays the same. I have read through about 50 of the first quiestions that were relevant to this generation subaru that I could find on here and have not seen this answered elsewhere. I hope maybe someone can advise me on what tthe jumpers do, what I should do with the jumpers in jumper A & jumper B plugs, and how they would affect, if at all, the vehicle no longer starting with the regular key

I recently bought Evo start 2 for my Evo one which I have been using for more than 2 years on my Mazda cx 3 2019 with T harness. At that time I did not choose the app start option while programming the Evo one. Can some please help me where should i be connecting the Yellow wire. Does it goes into the A1. Also none of the other options like door unlock are not working. Do I have to reprogram the Evo one again. I know that the firmware should be atleast 1.21. When i push start from the app the green light on the evo start 2 is turning on but nothing is happening.

I have followed the following steps and it was not working.

Ignition ON - OFF - ON (While holding the brake?)

Press and release brake 4 times

Press and hold the Evo start button until green

Turn OFF Ignition

Mycar Lt2 won't work properly on evo one I believe it's paired as I can send commands,shows gps,battery. So problem is if I ready car then later send start signal it will start run a few seconds then shut down and unready vehicle also when I send lock/unlock it sends it three times on either senario as well as it always shows green unlock doors in the middle no matter what state car is in volt and gps seem to work okay I'm trying to get this module up and running please

Unable to get passed step 7, All LEDS lit expecting yellow only

I am programing a EVO All for a 2014 Doge Charger. I was able to program once and was unsuccessful Dcryptor process. So I have been trying to re-program but I am allways stuck at step 7, Once the Unlock button on the fob is pressed all LED light(Blue,Yellow,Red) but expecting just yellow. I have tryed multiple times.

I am unable to get passed step 7 for a 2015 Dodge Charger. I was able to run through it once but faild runing the Dycripter. So I am attempting to re-program again. Every time I try I always get all three leds lit steady (Blue,Yellow,Red).

evo one, wire to wire, connected all wires used guide # 86261. Programming problem, after the 10x red flashes the light shuts off and does not turn to blue. Checked all the wirings and they all got good contact. Also tried a different unit and same results. I did the troubleshooting guides and its mentioning the yellow wire on the 20 pin connector to ignition? which on the guide i used does not show use for that yellow wire.

Thank you in advance for any help! I am a long time using of the EVO ALL and have done a few EVO ONE. A bit stumped on my 2017 F150 though. Using EVO ONE with the THAR FOR 3 harness.

All plugged in. Following wiring diagram for the A1 and A16 (put them together) on the white 20 pin connector.

When I go to program it, I can't get it to "blink blue". Therefore, I can't get any further in the programming procedure.

Followed the directions in the Guide. What could I be missing?

I have programmed and installed an Evo-One using THAR-ONE- TOY1 harness in my 2009 Toyota RAV4, automatic transmission, standard key (dot key). It seems like the RFK442 can not communicate with the Evo One. I appreciate if you have any suggestion to overcome this issue and complete programming the RFK442 with the Evo One.

MyCar and Fortin EVO-ONE with T-Harness setup on Subaru Outback 2017 Standard Key not working

I'm trying to add MyCar to a Fortin EVO-ONE installation on a Subaru Outback 2017.

The Fortin EVO-ONE works fine - I can start the car using the OEM Standard KEY/Remote without any issues.

I followed the steps provided in the install guide to add the MyCar

Protocol is set up to Fortin2 using the FlashLink MAnager on EVO-One for RFKit

Setup as Fortin in the MyCar application Settings.

I did the following steps to learn the MyCar into Fortin EVO-One

1- Cycle the ignition to the ON position.

2 - The YELLOW LED on top of the EVO-ONE should come ON.

3 - Press and Hold the EVO-ONE push button for 5 seconds.

4 - The parking lights and the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will turn ON.

5 - Release the push button.

6 - Press and Release the push button 5x times. Everytime the push button is pressed the parking lights and the RED Led on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink.

7 - Then Press and Release the Brake pedal.

8 - Seconds later the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink once to confirm that the MyCar ID has been learned to the EVO-ONE.

9 - Cycle the vehicle’s ignition to the OFF position to Exit the EVO-ONE programming

All steps succesful.

In the MyCar app I can see the voltage of the car and the GPS location, however the START/STOP/LOCK/UNLOCK functions are not working from the MyCar application

Any ideas/help?

Installing cm900 with evo all on a Mazda RX8 atomatic standard key, evo won't program correctly. Try with 1 key and 2 still the same. Everything lights up but no cranck. Aso change protocal to Fortin still those the same thing. Not sure what I'm missing.

evo-all on 2009 audi s5 will not learn/decrypt key with T-harness

I have tapped all he correct color wires by the punch and twist method, The T-harness is fully seated into the keyport module. Per the guide I am using the recommended 60.10 firmware. when Igo through the process on learning/decrypting the key, the evo all only gets to the point where all there leds alternate. but instead of getting a solid red led and then the slowly alternating red and yellow. I only get the red led that blinks 3x. and it never changes. I have also tried the alternate firmwares [.08] through [.11] and have had the same results. I have put a brand new batttery in the vehicle and the remote as well. I tried programing the evo with the option A11 both on and off.

I used connection 3 and program 3 to connect the evo all to my 2006 saab 97x and i got the locks to work but when i try and start the car with the remote start i get the "security light" and it doesnt allow the vehicle to start. i dont know if i dont have it connected correctly or what but it seems as if the bypass is not working when the remost start tries to start the car. any help is greatly appreciated!

Key Override All stopped working

I have a 2013 Sequoia, came installed with Key Override All. I have a G key. The system recently stopped working. Here are some details:

1. had some (key) starting issues this summer so battery was disconnected and ECM was reset (hooking battery cables together)

2. Blue security light is on constantly

3. Unlock/back hatch functions were working.

4. Remote start function NOT working.

So I went with the tried-and-true 1st step....replaced the batteries. NOW THE KEY FOB WILL NOT LIGHT UP! (yes, I have tried several different battery orientations...still nothing. Will be purchasing a new set of batteries tomorrow.)

But still, even before the battery debacle, remote start stopped working. So, my question to you folks is: WHAT IS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION? Is this any easy reset if I get the key fobs to work or do I need an installer to take a look?? Any recommended installers near Canton, OH?

I'm a handy gal, but I'm not down for wire-tracing or rewiring this dang thing. Dis tew much! (smh)

EVO one on 2006 Honda Ridgeline stopped working and wont re-program, what can I do?

I had this working for a few years and just this fall i noticed no blue light on the antenna and no activity on the antenna when i push the valet button or antenna button. It has stopped functioning and was wondering if I can try to re-program, but i when i try to do the programing, i cannot get past the step where the 6 pin connector is plugged in and the red light lights up while pushinng the program button. I am not getting a red light. I have power (+12 volts) and ground on the 6 pinn connector. Is there anything I can do at this point? Is it toast? I can hook up the evo one to the flash link and access it and get the red light and make changes to options so it still works off the vehicle. Just cant seem to get it to program once plugged in.

Hi, I"m Looking at adding the fortin Evo all to my truck and i wanted to confirm two things. Firstly when i go to flash the module it says for the T harness THAR-GM5 but fortin gives you instructions for the t harness THAR-GM7 and theres not option to select the GM7 only the 5 could i still use the 7 and flash it as the 5. My second question is do i still need two keys to program or would i be able to just use one

I'm installing EVO-ONE with T-harness on 2006 Kia Sedona. I'm having a problem to program. The yellow led stays on solid when the key is run position. I'm not sure if I did the CAN2 wiring becuase there was no 6&14 pins on the OBD2 but found white & white black in other pins so I connected them. Please let me know what to do next urgently.

Blue light turns off after connecting red and large wire connectors

programmed previously however it wouldnt shut off the engine when door opened or brake pressed. So i reset it and now when i went through the steps when i get the solid blue light i start connecting the wires and when both the red and large white wire is connected you hear a sound and the light turns off before i put in the key. Extra info chevy 2013 silverado 1500, evo all V4 2019. Also when flashing the device using flash link the blue light indicator on the flash link does not come on

2009 Audi s5 manual transmission, keyport and start/stop button with evo-one with thar-audi t harness. The blue led stays solid when the ignition is turned on with the keyport and I am unable to program. I have checked the yellow starter wire connection to the clutch bybass and the connection seems solid. The 12v to the juction box is getting a reading and good. The can high and low are also connected good. The connection for the vehicle is clipped together and the plug for the evo-one is connected as well. The 16pin is also plugged into the keyport.

When I plug the data cable in while holding the program button the led turns blue. I plug in all the other cables, insert the key, and press once WITHOUT pressing the brake. When I press and release the the program button the blue led remains on as if nothing has happened.

Any help please?

FIXED AND WORKING almost, now with a diesel mode D1.3 selected and flashed and saved checked 3 times the truck will start but didnt wait for the grid heater to come on started right away!!!!

LOOKS like I have to downgrade firmware to 0.36 only need to know if this can be done without a master reset?

Evo one with a compustar RF kit won't remote start but bypass programs and RF kit connects and car and 2-way fob respond to signals sent. When the car is sent a signal from the fob the lights on the car flash and the fob beeps and flashing green to indicate the signal was recieved but the car doesn't remote start. Red LED on the side of the EvoOne stays lit always. Not sure if that matters.

Car is a Toyota Matrix 2005. It is wired via connection type 1 on guide #58481 and the features not shown on that diagram are not wired (i.e. Lock/unlock not shown so they are not wired. Stricktly by the books.) Double checked the wiring and all seems good to go.

Interesting note: Flash link suggests i use remote start option 2.4 but the connection 1 schematic on guide #58481 indicates that 2.1 should be the correct setting. I stuck with 2.1 because 2.4 requires a start2 which is not on the schematic.

In the instructions key override all (camry 2007-2009 ...) it is written that key override all is programmed for only one car. And if the LED flashes (as written in the instructions), what can we do next? Throw it away or what?

The 2 way fob setup is following the setup through the step where the Evo-all module is red yellow and blue while the key is turned to the on position. The antenna is supposed to be flashing rapidly but instead flashes intermittently and sporadic. The fobs are programmed by pressing the “-“ then the lock button, the “-“ button shows the green light flashing then when the lock button is pressed it flashes blue thena red light with a single tone.

Options I have selected 2008 Ford Escape hybrid.

I have tried to do what Robb suggested. I’ve followed all the steps (red connector [D] NOT plug in) , however I was able to make it to step 8 (a) when Blue & Red Led flashed 10X, Wait, wait , and wait FOREVER, NO Blue LED flash. (HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE for the module to switch to flashing blue?)

I gave up and Turn off the key and try again 3X no luck, when and reset the evoall, re-flashed, NO luck neither .

Follow the troubleshoot, swap C3&C4 location {Can hi, low} , still the module did not program, can’t pass step 8A.

Also every time I tried programing the Evo with the RED connector plug-in, the ignition keep latched.

I am really stuck now, Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also i forgot to mentioned, I have tried to reflash the module to a Stand Alone (3X lock) and the programing still didn't get pass step 8A.

Also the service number above has F2 which is now on.

This evo-for1 will be feeding the compustart CM5000.

First key goes back in. wait, and wait .... (STEP 8)NO Red and blue 10X flashes.

Note: once the i completed up to step 7. the ignition of the 2011 Ford f150 thinks the key is still in and on the "ON" positon (blower and dash lights are ON even after key out).

I Installing evo all on 2012 Toyota Sienna with G-Key. I follow Fortin diagram guid# 29541 wire diagram. I follow program step by step, everything seem o.k until step 5 when I turn the key to ignition ON/RUN all the leds go off and stay off. hi, i worked on a 2016 mazda CX-3, AUTO transimission ,push to start.

i use EVO ALL+MYCAR mobile control.

flashed the EVO ALL with 71.[44] firmware. STAND ALONE CONFIGURATION: D1,H2

connected all the wires. EXCEPT: parking lights(optional), hood pin

now I'm stucked at programing step 13. The vehicle's ignition turn ON, then nothing happened, The Yellow and Red LED’s will NOT come on. then ignition turns off.

when connect the EVO ALL back to computer, it says DCryptor: THE IMMOBILIZER DATA RECEIVED FROM THE MODULE IS INCOMPLETE.

2002 Ford Focus / Key-Override-All / Will Not Program

Installed a Key-Override-All with a Crime Stopper 'CoolStart RS4-G5'. The Crime stopper works great with a key in the ignition only to satisfy the transponder.

I have tried several time to program the Override unit with no success. I am using Connection (1) with the Data Link. The RX,TX and IGN wires are connected directly to the ignition switch transponder. The Blue wire is connected to the Yellow/Black on the Crime Stopper (Ground When Running (Bypass Module).

I am using Program (2). I press the programming button and plug in the 'Black Connector' and the (6) pin connector. The red light comes on. I than program the keys and than hit the remote start. The red light blinks (3) quick blinks and thats it. The car never remote starts with teh 'Override' however the car will remote start and perform predictably as long as there is a PATS key in range of the transponder ring give me the understanding all is will except the 'Override' module.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

AX-RF2 - antenna LED won't flash and remotes will not program

I've installed an AX-ONE on my 2015 Ford Focus and it works properly off of the factory remotes.

I'm adding the AX-RF2 universal antenna with 2 remotes to the system.

Previously I asked a question about the need to change programmed function settings using the Flash-Link to allow for programming the remote/activating the antenna.

I received a reply stating that I do not need to change any program function settings.

The problem that I am having is that the antenna LED never lights up and I have not been able to program the remotes.
I've tried looking up installation instructions for the AX-RF2 without any success.
I found the instructions and manual for the FTX44-2W and RF442W (which appears to be the same unit under the EVO name brand).

It appears that I only need to plug in the AX-RF2 antenna into the AX-ONE's (4 PIN) Data-Link antenna port and then go through the programming steps that I've listed below:

1: Turn ignition On

2: Turn ignition Off

3: Turn ignition On

4: Antenna LED "should" turn On (but doesn't)

5: Press Brake Pedal 4 times

6: Press & Release the {-} button then the {Stop} button on each remote
7: Turn ignition Off

Am I missing something or using the wrong instructions?

my car is chevy cruze diesel 2015 pts after market. it origin of thailand. I did connected the evo-all's wire to car BCM as overall wires and plugs all most same to the instruction guide. the problem is the evo-all seem to stucking at step 5 the red and yellow are blinking after push 1x pts. kindly help or advise how to make it complet. thanks

I purchased an EVO GMT-4 for installation in a 2008 GMC Sierra SLT 2500 HD. After instalation of the unit with the T-Harness, I attempted to program the unit.
