Purchased fortin kit evo chrt7 for a 2023 ram 1500 classic with tip key start. No instructions came with it in box. There are 2 harnesses a t harness and obd2 harness . looked thru the qustion section on this site but no instructions for a 2023 ram 1500 classic or how to connect the obd2 harness for true plug and play, no having to tap in original wireing like in the kit description. Need updated specific instrutions or installation video.

Can you please confirm the correct Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness for this vehicle? I purchased the Fortin EVO-CHRT4 All in One Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness + FLASH-LINK Updater Bundle - Plug & Play Solution for Select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & VW Vehicles based on what I understood was the correct kit for this truck. After further research, I would like to confirm that this kit was correct for this application.

I would also like to confirm that purchasing the Fortin RFK942 2-Way RF Kit 4-Button Remote will provide everything required to have the long range remotes fully functional.

I also expected that this kit would be plug & play, with it being unnecessary to tie into the vehicle harness outside of connecting connectors. Is this correct?

ok Im still having programing issues, i can get to step 8 , i have only a solid blue light i have verified that i have 2.5v on each side of the can bus and i have 12v battery power on the yellow wire at the module with key in the crank position, yet i still only have the blue light on solid

at step 8 I can get the blue light to turn on but it will not flash rapidly to move the next step.it just goes out i do have 2.5V on both can bus wires.

what steps can i take to diagnose what to do next?

Does CHRT7 require any splicing or tapping for a 2024 Ram?

Considering buying a CHRT7 or CHRT6 for my 2024 Ramy 1500 Rebel with OEM remote start and keyless entry. I looked at the install guide, but its not quiet clear whether it requires splicing/tapping into any wires. (especially the parking lights, ignition, CAN low and High).

Can someone please share with me what are the 2022 or newers RAM 1500 Evo Start LTE functions are operational? For me I cannot get the Gas guage, roll windows, open trunk or use panic options and I wonder if that is a firmaware update or some other programming issues!

2012 Ram 1500 Standard Key. I have the Viper 5105v and EVOALL and tried connecting them D2D. Nothing is working. Are there any other wires that need connecting? Is this setup D2D compatible?

Ok so not long ago i bought my first evo-all for my truck with a t-harness and intalled/programed everything myself with zero issues and it has been awesome. A few days ago a co-worker came to me and asked me to install the same kit on his truck which just so happened to be the same model and year as my truck so i agreed know it should be a simple deal.

Unfortunatly after the install I have been chasing issue and having problems the constantly. It started with a problem were the truck would intermittently begin to start with the command start and crank for 1 second then suddenly stop with no error lights. I tried to fix this assuming the yellow postive wires connection was bad or loose so I soldered the joint, heat shrinked it and taped it up to make sure it was secure. i tested it after that and had three succesfull starts in a row.

The next morning my coworker came to me and said it did the same thing were it tried to start for 1 second and then stopped. I went back in and varified all the connections and made damn sure my soldered joint was good. I then attempted to reflash the module and reload everything and now when i get to step 8 were you enter the key for the second time and then turn it to run and it should go from red and blue to blue flashing, it just goes to no lights at all. I tried this twice with no success so i continued on and dcrypted the module and tried to start the truck and the module doesnt sense the key.Im at a loss, can you help?

Hi! I installed the fortin evo-all with T harness chrysler T6 on my Ram 1500 2019 classic, I now want to install the evo start 2 ant system. Do I need the RFA2A and RFA2A adaptor on my setup? Could you provide specific installation guide for my vehicule?

ram 2014 tipkey gaz engine engine do not crank enough

some time not always (worst when cold outside)the engine will crank but release before it is running sometime try 2 or 3 time looks like the evo all software do not crank enough that is bad because when you use the key you can hold it to start and the pcm will not over crank but if you relaese to fash it will not start like the evo-all do

Why do I Get U0001 code. Evo chrt6 on 2018 Ram 1500 gas standard key. Everything works fine.

I had an Evo-ALL intalled on truck for remote start. Works like a charm. But now I want to enable the Alarm feature in it too. I purchased the Flash Link UPdater and enabled the alarm part...Evo Alarm System along with G1,G2 and G4 options.

My question is how do I know it works? I tried opening door after locking/arming truck and opening the door from inside but I don't think that'll work. Well it didn't work that way. How do I know the alarm feature is working? Is horn supposed to go off?

Lock x3 will not start my truck, why?

I wired the correct wires for the Stand Alone Installation "F". I decided not to use the optional hood pin or the optional parking light wires, and i'm unsure about where to put the "external input" wire. Also, I was unsure about using the valet switch and was wondering if that was optional as well, as I don't have that wired in right now. When programming, The blue LED flashes when I start my truck with the key, but I can't get my lock x3 to start the truck. It starts fine with the key, both lock and unlock on my remote work, however I can't get it to start with hitting lock 3 times. Any suggestions? My firmware is 74-17 and hardware is 6. My vehicle is a 2007 dodge ram 1500. Please help!

Just noticed that the yellow LED comes on when I start my truck with the key. what does that mean?

WHEN I GET TO STEP 3 AND TURN ON THE IGNITION THE SOILID BLUE LIGHT TURNS OFF AND NO RED OR YELLOW SEQUENCE STARTS. WAITED UP TO 10 MINUTES. WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF THE SOLID BLUE LIGHT TURNS ON SOLID.

I installed the evo all on a 2013 ram 1500 tip key I followed all instructions. For some reason after remote starting the factory key fob will not unlock or lock the truck. The key take over dose not work I put the key in the turn it to on/run depress the brake and the truck dies. There are lights that come on the evo when starting and when lock and unlock. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? How can I fix this?
