I have a 2015 Corolla with an automatic transmission start button.

Installed with THAR-TOY6 T-Harness & EVO ALL

The device flashes blue when opening or closing the doors, but when trying to operate it with the remote, it flashes 4 red, I keep trying to program it and it gives me 3 red flashes.

I’ve had my vw for 4 years now, when I bought it the remote starter was already installed . I’ve never had a problem up until recently this winter, my remote batteries seemed like they were dying quicker than ever. And after the last time I replaced the batteries the red led on the remote comes on and doesn’t allow any function to be done. The remote starter is useless right now if i can’t start it

I am in the process of installing this and I get to step 7 and it is supposed to be solid red then in step 8 red and yellow alternating. At step 7 after Blue red yellow alternate it goes to 3 red flashes over and over. What could be causing this?

After installing, as per instructions provided, there was only a solid red light on my module. I notified tech support, and the person sent an dcryptor adapter. I followed the instructions in that video as well, but the program states: "the module was not able to sample the vehicles immobilizer data. Reconnect the module to the vehicle and follow the programming instructions from STEP 1 to sample the immobilizer data." Now I feel stuck, because it seems as though the module doesn't connect to my car. Please advise.

Hi,

I Have a Honda Civic 2016 (Manual). I bought an aftermarket remote starter in 2019. The controller is an FTX64 2W.

I used it without issues up until this winter. I would stop the car, leav it in neutral put the park brake on, and then press the ON button on the controller to start the Ready Mode. With the exception of the rear-window defroster which never worked, any preferences that I had on my dashboard would turn on when I activated the remote start later on (seat heaters, front window defroster, temperature, etc).

This winter I noticed that when I get out of the car after activating my ready mode (after about 3-5s) the remote emits a red light and makes the descending noise (same on as if I remote stopped the car). When I then remote start the car, it will turn on, but none of the preferences on my dashboard will be on (cold seats, no defroster, no temperature, etc).

The only thing that has changed is that one of the remotes (I have two) is dead. I will be replacing the batteries this week and trying that one out too.

Anyone know what could be causing this? As I said, it worked well up until this winter and then stopped out of nowhere.

2009 Toyota Venza Push-to-start. Installed EVO All and worked gopod for a couple days and then when customer tried to used the remote start, the parking lights blinked and the red led flashed 5 times but car did not start.

I also purchased a Fortin flashlink-lite updater

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with an older Chrime Stoppers remote start, and had on omega

IB-GMBP.DB-PAS-23A Passkey override. The omega unit went bad and appears to be discontinued.

I purchaesd the Fortin unit to replace it. I just need the passkey function of the Fortin.

Wired it in configuration 5 without data link.

When I follow the programming instructions, the red light will come on, but not start blinking when the key is switched on. I have checked my wiring. I'm pretty sure I have it right. The red light also does not go out after I start the engine.

I read on this forum that GM trucks can be particularly hard to program and that there is a firmware version 3.06 that resolves the issue.

I bought the Fortin flashlink-lite updater to upgrade my firmware from 3.01 to 3.06

The flashlink-lite updater seems to be working with my laptop correctly. The Flashlink manager 4 shows the flashlink-lite updater as connected.

When I plug in my INT-SL+ the red light comes on for a few seconds and goes out. Flashlink Manager4 always shows the "module status" as disconnected.

I tried holding the INT-SL programming button before plugging the INT-SL into the Flashlink-lite. The red light stays on but the "module status" doesn't change.

I have seen youtube videos that show the Fortin modules connecting almost instantly when plugged into the Flashlink devices, so I think something is wrong. I suspect the INT-SL

I don't want to buy more stuff until I'm sure that I'm going to solve the problem.

I feel that I should troubleshoot the connection between INT-SL+ and Flashlink first, since those are Fortin factory connections. That eleminates my wiring as a potential issue in the flowchart.

Is there a way to tell if the INT-SL+ is bad?

Hello, I was getting the solid red light on my Evo-all. I decided to do a reset. I installed firmware 0.99 and while pressing programming button and connecting datalink from the car Instead of getting the solid red light I got all three solid lights. Can anyone tell me what does it mean and how do I get it to work ?

Hello.

I have an Audi A3 2016 PTS that has an EVO-ALL V7 installed through a THAR-VW1 harness and it all woked seamless for months, with very minor glitces.

In while AC maitenance; namely the front door air actuator, I had to remove the imstruments cluster to have more room to work. It was a major pain, but I got it done.

Then I decided to check for a newer suggested firmware of my EVO-ALL and found v64.09, from v64.05 I was currently using.

The Cluster removal happened early in my project and only about 7 hours later the car was all reassembebled with some with some expected DTCs present, that were easily cleared to 0 DTC. When installed, the cluster was 100% operaciotnal, as everything else in the car - I only had to ajust it's clock .

But EVO-ALL was dead.

I came to the conclusion that the unit was not programmed any more in the car, so Idecided to try re-programming it all over again, but it keeps on failling on step 13: The LEDs keep flashing in 5x groups.

I don't see any issues or error message in he cluster, or in the infotaiment system.

I already left the car with the battery ON for 20+ minutes, but the issue persists.

I tried flashing back the version I had before, and also a master reset, but the 5x RED is always the final result.

How can I fix this situation??

Hello i have a 2012 Jeep liberty with EVO RS EVO-CHRT5. Flashlink updater also.
Current software installed 74.{39}
The rapid flash for programming occurred as the instuctions stated.

Option C1 and D1 D1.6 and D1.10 are chosen.
When trying the LOCK,LOCK,LOCK the blue LED occurs in sequnce with the lock button but nothing happens thank you in advance .

Hello, thanks for looking at my question. I am using an Evo one, with A GM 7 T harness in a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Everything has gone pretty well I installed the T harness, attached both unlock leads to the gray BCM plug, and the tailgate/trunk lead to the pink BCM plug, double checked pins, and that looks good. The Evo1 lights up like it is supposed to, except after the step where I hit the program button 5 times under the yellow LED and turn to run, the RED Solid never comes on the first try. After failing 3 times, I expiremented and turned the key a few tries until it eventually turned red.

The steps resumed as expected I got the rapid flashing blue lights at on postion, went inside to windows computer and used the Dcrypter to record the key. that went well, no errors or issues with the fortin software. The problem is that the remote start does not work. Tried both the lockx3 and the lock+tailgate and it does not work to start car. Since the key flashed properly, and the LEDs resumed normally, is that red led lighting after the original 5 program button taps the issue, or are the 7 loose wires needing to be connected to something two greens, one blue, black, orange, orange and black wire.

I followed the wiring diagram, these 7 loose wires I find unnerving, was it inferred what to do with these wires as a profession because I am DIY and might need just a little more of an explanation.

Trying to install on a 2010 Ford Escape, I have an Evo All with THAR-FOR1 harness. I get through step 3 and start doing the first key and the red and yellow light blink then stay solid after the 3 seconds. I then do the second key but only the red light comes on as solid. I pushed the programming button and the red light flashes 6 times, the ignition process begins but doesnt crank or have blue lights flashing. The anti theft light keeps flashing on the dash. I tryed to take it out of valet mode like I read in another QA, but that didnt do anything. I tryed to reflash the moduel and change settings. I rechecked all of the wireing. The SN is 001A07041799

07 Durango, Evo All standalone with T-Harness, was working perfectly fine using 3x lock on OEM remote, or using a compustar remote that came programmed when I bought the vehicle. Blue light activates when locking or unlocking, orange light activates when ignition is turned on, battery hasn't been disconnected at all, power is fine, ground is fine, resistor from brown/white to parking lamps is fine, new battery in remotes, tested the hoodpin, I've pulled it entirely apart and checked all of the connections, and yet it blinks the red light 6 times, as well as the parking lamps and headlights, which I find extremely odd considering the troubleshooting only goes 1-5 flashes. Spent 2 days trying to sort it out and I've come up with nothing, any help or guidance would be appreciated.

My Evo One has yellow and red light on. What does this mean? I can't finish programming because of this.

I am following guide # 80961 for manual transmission. On page seven step step 5, the yellow light turns on but the red light never turns off. They both stay on even when I turn the key back to the off position. I have checked all connections twice and can't seem to figure this one out. Also, do I need a seperate harness so that my OEM remote works to control the EVO one?

Everything is connected. This is not my first time using evo-all. 2009 rx 350. Remote start cranks vehicle, red light on evo all illuminates, but will not turn on. Red light never changes over to yellow or blue light status. Car originally had an older remote start system with bypass. A New key was programmed. Car would crank with remote start, but would never run. Would repeat 3 times before shutting down. So, installed updated remote start system along with evo-all, same thing. Cranks will not run. Updated evo with latest software, still same issue. Did the key that got programed, effect the system?

I am using the following on a 2017 VW Golf Alltrack PTS w/automatic trans:

EVO-VWT1 kit with harness, VW-TB, EVO-ALL, RF-Kit 411 and R-Link.

when setting up the unit in fortin flashlink I get no other options for installatiom method than "key in a box" and when attempting to program the unit with the R-Link installed I get all the way to step 11 and then the the flashing blue light turns red, then starts blinking two red flashes, pauses, two flashes and so on.

I cannot get anything to work to get past this.

UPDATE: I plugged everything in and gave it a try. Car starts right up but dies immediately. Gives me the "no key" alert. dcryptor process will not complete for some reason.

I have an EVO-ALL unit with T-Harness THAR-GM1. I went through the initial steps for programming, programmed the unit using the Flashlink Manager software. Reinstalled into the car, remote start did not work. Attempted to redo programming. Unit began displaying a solid Red LED. I held in the programming button and inserted the Data-Link wire and it immediately displayed the solid Red LED again. I continued to hold the button in for several minutes and the Red LED remains lit. I then tried to reconnect it to Flashlink Manager, and it detects it. I tried to reinstall the firmware and it installs. I take it back to the car to try programming again, and again i received the solid Red LED immediately. I am at a loss as to what the problem can be.

After first stage of programming the EVO-ALL with my Mazda 3 '15, programming with the computer, then following steps 1-12 again (Guide 62681), the EVO flashes RED with no other lights. I tried following all steps again a few times, with the same result. The security light on the car rapidly flashes for a few seconds as well. What should I try next?

Hi I have EVO-ALL (sn: 001A07051925) with firmware 4.01 and T-harness (EVO-FORT3).

I have connected 4-pin and 5-pin cable only. I use OEM remote.

The programming was successful (I think). Blue led was solid -> after push to start -> blue start to blinking rapidly (not only 10x, but blinking until turn off).

When I used LOCK 3x, then unit start blinking two times (red->orange->blue). After this two attempts blink red 3 times.

My configuration: A1, A3, A4, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, C1, D1, D1.3, D1.6, D1.10, D6

Please help me.

2013 f150 evo-all installed with T-harness. The only conneciton i made myself was the keysense pruple/yellow on the t-harness to the yellow keysense on the 20pin connector.

Programmed for lock-unlock-lock. Blue LED flickers when i hit lock or unlock. and then the red led flashes 3 times and doesnt start. No other response or light on my truck. It still started fine with regular key. I also tried using just 3x lock in case but same problem.

What am I missing? I didnt make any other connections like the hood pin because it looks like they are optional.

I am installing a EVO-CHRT6 on a 2011 Dodge Journey.

I connected all the wires except for the parking lights. I programmed the module according to the guide with the C1, D1, and D1.10 options. However on trying the 3x lock to remote start the module just flashes red 5 times. I have tried reprogramming the module but the problem persists. I have also made sure the hood pin wire is not grounded. The vehicle does not have a factory hood pin. Please let me know how to solve this issue, I have never encountered anything like this before

On a 2018 Dodge Journey, I can not get an evo all to work. on the programming procedurs step 6 the light will not change from yellow to red, check all the wires, flash the module with the flasher and put the firmware 74.32, didn't work, the programmer was suggesting the firmware 74.18, try it didn't work. Updated the flasher and flash all the firmare again and didn't work. I check all the wires one by one and they were good.

During programming Blue light flashes rapidly indicating CAN bus activity when ignition is turned on.

Press and hold programming button, Blue LED turns off and Red LED turns on Solid. After 3 seconds release programming button, and red LED begins to flash 3x and then repeats continuously. Nothing happens, the LED’s do not rapidly alternate, even after waiting 20 mins or more. Step 7 never completes, unit does not program.

Wiring has been checked and rechecked. Any ideas why it doesn’t want to program?

So i installed my Tharch5 with T harness into my 06 dodge ram 1500, everything worked out as it should have and i had no problems, untill trying to remote start! after pressing lock three times the module runs through each light and i can hear my truck begin the process of attempting to start then nothing. i believe it tries twice before staying on the red led a couple times then locking the doors. anyone having this or similar issues?

I have a simple question. I have a 2015 Toyota Rav4 with a Fortin EVO remote start which works fine. I'm just wondering when pressing the remote start button on the remote it's supposed to light up green when it communicates with the remote start showing that it was a successful start. Well the car starts with no problem, but the remote flashes red as if it didn't start. Why doesn't it ever flash green if the car starts successfully? Should I be concerned?

I had the remote start working before putting the vehicle back together. Put it back together and it stopped working. Re programmed the tach data. It worked. Put the vehicle back together again. Another failure. I took everything back apart. Checked all my wiring again. Nothing grounded out. Try to restart with the EVO all and while holding the program button and plugging in the black four pin connector in, the red led stays solid. I can hit the red program button and it allows me to start reprogramming the options but it doesn’t sense the brake pedal eitherbcor me to confirm the options.

I installed the Evo-chrt5 on my 2015 Jeep wrangler. I have no power doors so i ordered a 642w RF kit. The remote start works perfectly but the remote doesnt flash with a green light, instead it blinks blue then one red blink. Just wondering why. The directions say it is supposed to blink green twice. Also the status request doesnt work.

Hello, I am installing EVO-MATZ1 on a 2015 CX-5 Touring. I have properly followed guide #62951. I do not have the parking lights hooked up, nor the hood switch via the dark blue wire from the EVO-ALL unit at this time. The CX-5 does not have a hood switch. Once I get the remote start working, I will install the included hood switch. The unit is programmed properly by following the instructions and getting the proper LEDs.

When I hit the lock button 3x, the redlight automatically comes on. Then the yellow light, then they both turn off. It does this again, then the lights stay off. Thats the first problem I have encountered.

The second issue I have is I did a reset by holding the programming button and programming the unit. Now whenI plug in the 4 wire power harness, all 3 LEDs blink. I tried to reprogramit but I am having problems. When I turn on the ignition, I do not get a yellow light on the first key.

I finally had time this evening to install the remote starter but i believe the bypass is faulty. I used the instruction provided in fortin website using the code(as usual). I connected as is exactly as in the diagram..

- Hardwired wires from evo-all to Viper 5305 module as per dotted lines in the diagram....no more, no less.

- Cut red and black wire of Datalink cable, then connected Red to 12v and black to ground.

- From Evo-all Connected Yellow(Ignition), Lt Blue/black(IMMO Data, Green/red(driver hoodpin and Lt Blue(Door lock data) as per diagram.

- Programmed the Evo-all as per instruction(it seems it worked according to Flash pattern in the diagram instruction.

- I pressed lock/arm in Viper remote, transponder and viper module communicates no problem which i can see on the viper's antenna LED and siren chirps as it should. even unlock button works as well between transponder and Viper module.

Now the problem........

- nothing happens to OEM arm/disarm when lock/unlock is pressed on the transponder.

- nothing happens to Door's lock/unlock when lock/unlock is pressed on the transponder.

- no crank when remote start is pressed. But transponder shows it did send the signal.

- when Viper is armed, I can open any of the doors and alarm won't sound nor security system work.

- i know Viper is Working fine because when it's armed and start the engine using Key, it didn't crank and alarm sounded...loud.

- also, no parking lights flashing or turning on. But if i connect the Parking light from Viper to car instead of through evo-all, then parking lights works.

After couple of hours trying all the tests I know the module is not sending any info to either Car or Viper module. I did a little more test by arming OEM security using car's FOB, armed Viper by pressing lock, then tried to remote start and voila, it would crank but won't continue because the evo-all bypass seems not bypassing. I reset/re-programmed the module then suddenly all i got is solid Red bottom light. It stays Red even after unplugging every wires then re-plugging it the datalink by itself. It won't re-set anymore.

I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe. I have the Crimestopper RS4-G5 remote start and am using the EVO all as my bypass module. I am using connection 3 and program 3. When attempting to remote start my vehicle the Evo's red and amber leds turn on. The vehicles fuel pump comes on, dash lights come on (just as if I'd turned the key to the on position) but the starter never turns on. I have verified that I have firmware 4.06 in the EVO ALL using the updater software.

When I press the brake pedal everything turns off except for the EVO red and amber leds. To get them to turn off I have to unplug the 4 pin connector(data link) from the RS4-g5.

Everything works except the vehicle wont start.

Hi

I have a 2010 f150 ford and I am installing RSOO-G5 remote start with EVO ALL data link. It seemed to be ok and I tried to program several times before I found bad connection on data bus wire. I repaired connection but when I plug it in the red led comes on as soon as it is pluged in. I tried the the things you sugested from another persons question all but reflashing it. Do you think that would fix it as I will have to send it back to vender for programing.

Hi,

I have a Jeep Patriot 2009.

I have used the two linked youtube videos for install, my installation will require the aftermarket FOBs. So I will be using the remote that comes with the kit to start the car instead of the the factory Key FOB.

My issues are, as soon as I plug the 4-Pin connector the light turns red, (solid, no blinking).

I tried to reset the Evo All but after pressing the button for 5 seconds, nothing happens.

I am just as far as the first step, I am worried more issues might arise, what could it be.

Please help!
