The batteries that came in the unit lasted around 6 months. My wife had new Energizer CR2025 batteries installed and they only lasted about 2 weeks. I just got brand new Energizer CR2025 batteries and so far the remote works but I am getting next to no sound, it is there but very faint. <br /> <br /> When I removed the old batteries I checked their voltage and am getting around 2V on 1 battery and -1.5V on the other! Why would they be different #1 and why would one go reverse polarity #2. They were both installed in the correct orientation and had the factory plastic ring around the batteries. <br /> <br /> Please help as this will get expensive replacing batteries every couple weeks. Is it something where I can just purchase remotes separately from the RF kits?
