Hello, I have a 2016 Subaru Impreza with a Compustar alarm and an Evo-All module. Everything works fine while the vehicle is off. lock, unlock, trunk, etc. But when I use the remote start, the vehicle unlocks the doors to disarm the alarm and starts normally, then the lights flash as if it's locking again, but it doesn't. If I press the lock button on the Compustar remote, the vehicle's lights flash as if it's locking, but nothing happens. However, if I use the original remote, it locks properly. It seems that the Evo-All module isn't responding when the car is running. I've been having this problem lately with Subarus when using a Compustar remote start and an Evo-All module. What can I do? Subaru Legacy Rear Defrost (Aux1)

015 Subaru Legacy std key SUB1 harness installation. EVO-ONE. I'm trying to turn on the rear defrost when the car is remote started. As instructed in other posts, I tied the AUX (yellow/black) wire to the negative wire identified as the defrost trigger on WireColor (behind dash fuse box, pin 26, purple / green). I then set option 25 as pulse (0.5). When the car starts there's still no sign of the rear defrost being enabled. The button can still be toggled manually but does not come on at start. Even though other areas had this listed as pulse, I did go through the latch settings just in case but none worked. Am I missing an additional step here?

2015 Subaru Legacy std key SUB1 harness installation. EVO-ONE. Using OEM remotes for starting (lock-unlock-lock). Car starts as expected and everything related to the start is working as expected. The only issue I’m having is with the OEM remote response once the vehicle is running. When the car is off, remote responses (lock, unlock, trunk) are quick and immediate. Once the car has been remotely started this changes. The command still work, but take multiple button clicks and responses seem random. I’ve been unable to figure out how to correct this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. I installed the Evo-One on a 2015 Subaru XV-KROSSTREK. The owner said the original smart key wasn't working properly, so they made a new one. Since then, the remote start hasn't worked. I've had a problem... I've reprogrammed the module three times, but it still doesn't work. After pressing it three times, it seems to start working... the red LED lights up and then immediately goes out. I tried a different module, and it worked. 002B04692128

I finished installing the EVO One on my 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i. I connected all the required cable according to the guide. I used Flashlink to install the 84.12 Bypass firmware and 1.26 Remote starter firmware. I successfully completed the programing procedure in GUIDE # 97491 for Evo one with THAR-ONE-SUB1 harness using decryptor. I also enabled the 3x oem remote start setting. The issue I am having now is the would sometimes start momentarily then immediately dies or the starter would click but not turn over. I tried messing around with the tactless sensitivity levels in flashlink but still having the same issue.

2017 Forester X, key start, new EVO-One, installed per Guide #97491w/THAR-ONE-SUB1 t-harness, all connections made per pin location, not wire color. When I reach Step 5 on the DCryptor programming and start the car, I get red/blue on solid and they stay on even after the car is shut off, until I pull the 6-pin. Car starts normally with the key if the EVO-One is connected, will not start with the red plug disconnected, which I believe is correct. I've reset and reprogrammed the module twice with the same result.

Update after reading multiple other recommendations about getting to solid red and blue at step 5: 1. Instructions say to use Firmware 84.11 (minimum), I have 84.12 and .11 is not available. 2. I checked continuity from pin 10 (light blue) of the 20 pin connector (IMO signal) to pin D1 (Yellow/green) IMO body side and have continuity. Car starts and immediately quits with red "D" connector unplugged, starts and runs normally with it plugged in. 3. Have battery voltage at E1 (white) and E5 (pink) with ignition on, no power with ignition off. Module SN:002B04 656833.

I successfully finished the install on a 2015 Subaru Legacy 6 speed manual Evo-One with the t-harness and rf kit. Everything went well and works okay, but after the install the red security light in the cluster stays on all the time while running but its very dim. When the car is off its blinking as its supposed to, but when it blinks "off" its still slightly light up when it should be totally off. Seems almost like its getting a constant back feed from somewhere. I'm not sure if this is a wiring mistake or possibly a bad unit?

Installed Evo-One on Subaru Forester 2022 PTS (US) with THAR-ONE-SUB2 T-Harness and Linkr-LT2. Battery keeps draining with fortin connected.

T-Harness was a simple installation with 2 connectors behind cluster on the Keyless access ECU.

All recommended setting selected. It seems the car is not going to sleep. Any idea to solve this problem?

I am trying to get a 2009 Subaru Forester manual transmission functioning with an EVO-ONE and an Excaliber RF kit (listed under compatible remotes). Reference: https://fortin.ca/download/25141/Audiovox%20%20EVO-ONE.pdf

First of all, the option for RFLF remote within Unit Options does not exist on any of the remote start firmware options (tried 0.44, 1.26, 1.16 and several others to check). I did attempt to pair the remotes and had mild success with the default RF kit setting. Lock and Unlock seem to work intermittently depending on the state of the vehicle, remote start does work with reserve mode for the manual transmission as long as a lock command is accepted to turn off the engine (configured option to keep engine running until door lock). Currently running remote start firmware 1.16, but had similar results with 1.26 and 0.44 as well.

Primary issues:

1) Unable to use factory or Excaliber remotes to lock or unlock the vehicle after a remote start command was sent from Excaliber remotes (regardless if the vehicle was able to successfully remote start or not). What options exist to resolve this? What firmware should be used? Are there any option settings to adjust?

2) Flash limit was reached while trying to test different remote start firmware versions. Can this please be reset? (EVO-ONE, 04/2022, SN: 002B04 271047)

Secondary issue:

3) Sometimes when a door is opened after an unlock command, the alarm is triggered and can only reset when unlock is pressed twice on the factory fob (not tested with Excaliber remotes). This was not tested thoroughly so I do not have clear steps to reproduce this case. It did seem to happen more often after any action was made relative to remote-starting (either attempting to enter reserve mode with engine running or after attempting remote-start).

I have a 2015 Subaru Legacy that I have install an EVO-ONE (002B07172969) on with the T-Harness and have an issue with the car alarming when the door is opened after unlocking it with the key fob. If I use the smart-phone module to unlock the car, no alarm sounds when the door is opened. If I disable the alarm feature (change from option 14.2 to 14.1) everything works fine. Any ideas?

On another note, the troubleshooting app for android does not exist on the Google Play Store.

2. Guide 98941, page 7. I'm probably over analyzing this, but I assume for the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green wires, the illustration is saying to connect the respective wires together. Is that correct? I figured there would be a black circle on it if that was a case. I initially thought this was a spliced wire from the factory.

3. Will there be issues if I use an Omega RF kit and have to use firmware 0.44?

2018 SUBARU OUTBACK (US Model) - EVO ONE - THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 - Module will not program

This is on my 2018 Subaru Outback, US model

REGULAR KEY - Automatic Transmission - No factory alarm system (from what I can tell) - Yes factory immobilizer

Remote Start: Fortin EVO One. Firmware Version: 84.12. Using Flashlink USB programmer.

Wire Harness: THAR-SUBONE-SUB1 & THAR-SUBONE-SUB3 (both SUB1 & SUB3 harnesses simultaneously I guess? Though initially unsure, I went forward & did order and installed both as shown in the diagram linked in the next line down. Specifically, on page 5 out of Ten, the page with the heading: THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 | AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONNECTION )

Before connecting to the car, I:

1. connected the evo one to my laptop & ran the flashlink software.

2. The software recognized the USB programmer.

3 Then I plugged in the Evo One module & confirmed it was detected in flashlink software

4. I logged in, then input the following vehicle data: 2018 subaru outback, regular key .

5. I let the flashlink software download the newest firmware & recommended settings for the 2018 subaru outback
6. I hit the program button to send the configuration to the Evo One

7. Disconnected Evo one from the flashlink programmer & held down the programming button

8. While holding down the programming button, plugged in the 6 pin connector from the Sub-One harness, at this point installed in the car, to the Evo One

9. Continued holding down programming button while the red yellow & blue lights cycled, then released the button when the lights were lit up RED & Blue simultaneously

10. Began to press the programming button 6 times to enter the programming mode

11. However, right after the very first push of the programming button the red & blue lights would blink once & then go back to solid red & blue so I continued pushing 5 more times to get a total of 6 presses.

13. At this point, the module is blinking red & blue simultaneously 5 times in a row > pause > blink red & blue 5x again > pause > red & blue 5x blink > continues in perpetuity until I insert the vehicle key & turn it to the Ignition 2 position (2 clicks/aka accessory mode)

12. Soon as key turns to ignition 2 setting, The RED & BLUE lights both light up & stay on continuously.

13. The instructions say to start the car at this point, but turning the key from Ignition 2 to Start does not cycle the starter. No lights dim, no clicking from relays, it is not even trying to start.

14. I hold the key in start position for about 2-3 seconds, then release it back to ignition 2 which would leave the vehicle running normally if it had started at this point

15. The red & blue lights on the evo one continue to stay lit continuously & never reach the part where they flash 10 times, ostensibly because the engine never even started still which does make sense.

I guess my question is, does this have anything to do with the jumper that is shown in the PDF? I don't understand what the diagram is trying to say with the Jumper A & Jumper B section. Does the jumper in jumper A need to be removed? And then the cable in the jumper b position get plugged back into the Sub 3 harness? But only for the outback & legacy models of the car? I'm not quite clear what I'm supposed to do with the jumper A OR the Jumper B. So I just left them both plugged in.

After a while sitting in ignition 2 position with the red & blue lights lit up on the evo still, I just gave up & turned the key off then unplugged the : 5p Data link wire > 6p red plug > 20p white plug > 6p main power plug from the evo to turn it off. Then plugged it back into the flashlink programmer & attempted to see if I could do the decryptor programming anyway, but as expected I get the notification that the module never received the datalink information

I also tried reflashing the module once or twice to be sure the settings stuck, the behavior of the vehicle stays the same. I have read through about 50 of the first quiestions that were relevant to this generation subaru that I could find on here and have not seen this answered elsewhere. I hope maybe someone can advise me on what tthe jumpers do, what I should do with the jumpers in jumper A & jumper B plugs, and how they would affect, if at all, the vehicle no longer starting with the regular key

2011 Subaru Impreza STI

Cars starts fine with remote starter. Can also insert key after start, turn key to run and press brake. Vehicle stays running.

Vehicle cranks with the key and starts running but dies after running for about 2 seconds. Won't attempt crank after it dies. Until key is cycled to off.

I verified that the plug-side Immobilizer wires White/Blue and Black/Red are connected to Yellow/Red from the D connector.
And that the vehicle-side wires are connected together with Blue/black from A and yellow/green from D.

Everything else seems to work. (power door locks)

I just discovered that when I use "Lock" on the remote, before attempting to start with the key, the vehicle stays running...

I installed an evo-one (no t-harness) in a 2011 subaru imprezza, standard key.

after programming and install, the factory remotes deprogrammed and would not work. I had to start the car on both keys to reprogram them.

The same thing happened three days later.

2017 Subaru WRX. Won't Remote start. Manual Trans. The yellow wire on the main harness (T-Harness) that goes to the clutch wire does nothing when trying to remote start. But the car will continue to run after I turn the key off.

08 Impreza manual trans. Wired up the evo all and pro start together,w2w connections made and double checked.

The evo all is programmed for dycryptor with key successfully programmed. Flashed the suggested settings, the pro start remote programmed as well as the pro start.

I can control locks etc, and it confirms ready mode on the r/s when set. If I remote start right away after shutdown, it will start fine as it should.

If I set ready mode and shut down with r/s confirmation, after a min. Or so in ready mode, it will flash park lights 3 times

when trying to r/s it will flash the park lights once and not try to start.

No T-harness. Programmed ok, Dcryptor ok. Updated after Dcryptor process. I have updated the module to current 84.12. I swapped the blue/black wire with the yellow green on the cut IMO. Still no start or LED.

MyCar and Fortin EVO-ONE with T-Harness setup on Subaru Outback 2017 Standard Key not working

I'm trying to add MyCar to a Fortin EVO-ONE installation on a Subaru Outback 2017.

The Fortin EVO-ONE works fine - I can start the car using the OEM Standard KEY/Remote without any issues.

I followed the steps provided in the install guide to add the MyCar

Protocol is set up to Fortin2 using the FlashLink MAnager on EVO-One for RFKit

Setup as Fortin in the MyCar application Settings.

I did the following steps to learn the MyCar into Fortin EVO-One

1- Cycle the ignition to the ON position.

2 - The YELLOW LED on top of the EVO-ONE should come ON.

3 - Press and Hold the EVO-ONE push button for 5 seconds.

4 - The parking lights and the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will turn ON.

5 - Release the push button.

6 - Press and Release the push button 5x times. Everytime the push button is pressed the parking lights and the RED Led on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink.

7 - Then Press and Release the Brake pedal.

8 - Seconds later the RED LED on the side of the EVO-ONE will blink once to confirm that the MyCar ID has been learned to the EVO-ONE.

9 - Cycle the vehicle’s ignition to the OFF position to Exit the EVO-ONE programming

All steps succesful.

In the MyCar app I can see the voltage of the car and the GPS location, however the START/STOP/LOCK/UNLOCK functions are not working from the MyCar application

Any ideas/help?

J'ai un Subaru crosstrek 2020 transmission manuelle avec un evo-one installation fil a fil. Le démarreur s'active tourne à on mais ne démarre pas. Même en appuyant sur la clutch. Comme si pas de output au push buton. No de série du module 002B07107317.

le fil bleu pale -noir est bien placé et oui je peux partir le véhicule en enlevant le connecteur rouge. C'est comme si le signalde start ne s'envoit pas. J'appuie sur la clutch pour être sur aussi et même chose.Ne démarre pas encore. Avez vous une autre solution

I have installed an EVO-ONE on 2 subarus so far, 2009 WRX and 2009 Forester. When I went to look at installing one in my 2010 STI i re-loaded the settings from my 2009 WRX as a good starter as I know it worked well. In Setting 2 (programmable output) I noticed the setting I had programmed 2.1 (which was likely suggested before) was not the one with the thumbs up icon which was 2.4. The wiring instructions still show using a relay for (+)STARTER2 and (+)ACCESSORY, however the suggested setting shows (+)STARTER2 connected to a direct wire from the EVO-ONE and no (+)ACCESSORY wire listed. Why does the suggested option not seem to match with the instructions?

Has anyone used the thumbs up selection 2.4 and NO RELAY at all and just NOT connect ACCESSORY?

How to reset the FTX 94 after vehicle battery change

I have the FTX 94 installed on my 2017 Subaru Outback, has always worked well. Recently I had battery troubles and had to replace the car's battery. Now the remote no longer works. I remember resetting this once in the past with a sequence of on/off positions on the starter button (no key on my model), but can't remember how, and can no longer find the YouTube video that previously guided me on this.

Can you please tell me how to reset the remote starter?

2019 Subaru Outback standard Key installed EVO One with sub1 and sub3 T-harness and RF kit. Will not remote start when rf kit is plugged in. Will remote start when it's unplugged but when vehicle is not in operation the hatch keeps unlocking causing vehicle battery drain and ultimately a dead battery overnight. The serial number for my unit is SN: 002B04 192340

Someone please help. I spent a good amount of money on this thing for it to not work.

Vehicle: 2017 Subaru forester w/ standard key

Equipment: evo-one + rfk442 + THAR-ONE-SUB1

Issue: rfk442 lock button chirps and gives a green light, but does not lock the doors. I can hear relays clicking from the evo-one during this. OEM remote lock button works. rfk442 unlock does work.

When remote started, the doors unlock but do not re-lock despite remote start option 6 being set to 6.2.

2018 Subaru Outback, standard key, EVO-ALL try's to start with 3X lock, but engine doesn't turn.

Hello, and thanks in advance for the help. I am stumpped on this one.

I installed an Evo All in our 2018 Subaru Outback, standard key, standard installation. I connected and double checked all wires per the diagram. For the immobilizer I used the white/lt. blue wire on connector 3 instead of the white/blue wire on connector 4, becuase the wire on connector 4 did not exist. I completed the FlashLink Updater and dcryptor.

When I go to remote start (3X lock), the red led comes on, then the yellow, but it doesn't start. Then it trys again and then the red led flashes 3 times and they all turn off.

What am I missing or doing wrong. Below is the Connector 3 and 4 wiring option and a link to my installation guide.

Remote start works as it should but after activating the remote start, the factory key fob buttons do not work to unlock/lock doors. The key fob buttons work fine when remote start is not activated.

Drivers door also stays unlocked after remote start activation but plan on doing the purple wire from white 20 pin to brown/white wire on 40 pin connector at fuse box. But would like to be able to use the fob to unklock the doors instead of manually unlocking with the key.

2015 Subaru Impreza - standard key. Bought rfk411 and programmed successfully. Remote starter starts the engine but it kills after 2 seconds.

It appears this particular T-harness isn't as plug and play as it is compared to T-harnesses for other makes and models. Does anyone have a guide to locate the plugs for this car? The guide only helps so much because it's not made for use with the T-harness and none of the plugs it points to fit the harness except 1A.

Any inputs or available guides for this particular T-harness would be helpful.

EVO-ALL won't communicate with Compuatar CM7200

I have a 2013 Impreza. Using a Compustar CM7200 as the remote starter but the EVO-ALL won't communicate through datalink. I tired switching the F2 option on and also tried switching the Compustar to the Fortin option, still no luck. I assume its 2 way datalink connection so I don't have anything hardwired to each other

Evo One not seeing RM411

Trying to install RM411 to increase range on Evo One from simple 3x OEM.

Bypass works and car starts on OEM 3x.

Never had an RF kit on this EvoOne before. Plugged in, blue light flashed on. Entered Programming mode using Valet button. Remote LED starts flashing. I press and hold RM411 remote for about 10-12 seconds as per instruction. Remote goes from Solid, to Flashing, to off, back to SOlid Blue and then I release. Antenna stops flashing as per instructions to identify that its learned the remote. I turn off ignition. Still does not work.

Tried resetting Remote Start using programming mode and 23 valet button pushes method. Put Evo One back on flasher and reset remote start options for car (tachless and disable alarm). Still nothing from the remote.

ALSO - I can not enter programming mode using the remote. Turning Ignition on, off, on does not give me a solid blue antenna LED to then hit brake 4x and program remote that way. Not sure of that's helpful to know.

Please advise. I don't have another Evo One in stock to try right now.

2018 Subaru Outback Push to start with THAR-ONE-SUB2. Everything seems to work correctly. Car starts with 3x Lock but then dies after running for a few seconds. Attempts to start again, runs for a few seconds then dies again. Any Ideas?

On a US 2018 Subaru Outback with THAR-ONE-SUB2 Harness do you need to cut and splice into wire off of pin 44 or just connect the two yellow/red, yellow/green wires together and not touch the wire off pin 44. Having a hard time figuring out the diagram.
