I finished installing the EVO One on my 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i. I connected all the required cable according to the guide. I used Flashlink to install the 84.12 Bypass firmware and 1.26 Remote starter firmware. I successfully completed the programing procedure in GUIDE # 97491 for Evo one with THAR-ONE-SUB1 harness using decryptor. I also enabled the 3x oem remote start setting. The issue I am having now is the would sometimes start momentarily then immediately dies or the starter would click but not turn over. I tried messing around with the tactless sensitivity levels in flashlink but still having the same issue.

Hello, I have been using an Evo One Fortin kit to start my car for the last 3.5 years. I have a 2020 Honda Accord with manual transmission. It just recently started to fail to remote start my car. When I start it manually, it works and doesn't struggle to start. I noticed that all the functions like heated seats, blower fan, rear defroster all work and the engine turns over, but the engine does not start when I attempt to start it remotely. It does this three times before shutting down. It seems like the module is not giving the car the bypass code. I am using the 3X lock function with the OEM fob and not an RF kit with stand alone fob. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

3x remote flash won't start

2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, I've been having issues for 3 months now. I replaced brake switch twice, wire harness for brake switch, and still the same issue. If I unplug the brake wire from EVO-ONE, it would remote start. If the wire is plugged in, no start. This started after 3 years of module use, nothing changed. Now, EVO-ONE is doing a 3X light blink when trying to remote start, which is ready mode disabled. It's an automatic transmission, it's in Park, no parking brake on, still nothing. Last week I was able to bypass the brake switch with a separate switch to solve the other remote start issue, but 2 days later it's doing the ready mode disabled. I'm about to give up, rip this thing out and try a different brand.

Hi guys, my again over here, almost winter and ppl locking for install remote starter in they cars. I am trying to install an EVO ONE with a k411 RF module in a 2011 Toyota Camry but it does not send the start pulse. This has happened to me on two 2011 Toyota Camrys, exactly the same problem. It is not a type G key, it is a standard key. I am using the same guide: https://fortin.ca/download/81181/EVO-ONE_IG_REG_BI_TOY-CAMRY_KEY_2007-2011_A_81181.pdf I used the same installation wiring and the same programming on both cars, but the result was the same, the car does not receive the start pulse.

2021 Mazde Cx-30, push start Automatic EVO-One , Thar-one-MAZ5 Harness, Flash-link4

1) Installed, all connections checked and rechecked

2) Options set using Flashlink on a PC as per instructions (checked again)

3) dcryptor run, on a PC, it went to and updated the access code from the internet

4) finished the programming, all lights flashed the correct colours at the correct time in the process

5) testing; I stand >15 ft away, press lock lock lock. The horn sounds lights flas as a normal car lock. car does not start. nothing happens, no additional lighst or anything else

Other points. I cut the yellow loop as started in the instructions

how do I troubleshoot?

2017 Subaru WRX. Won't Remote start. Manual Trans. The yellow wire on the main harness (T-Harness) that goes to the clutch wire does nothing when trying to remote start. But the car will continue to run after I turn the key off.

I'm installling the KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL with a DEI remote start.

When I attempted to program prior, I would see the LED start flashing, but programming didn't complete.

Now when I attempt to program, the LED on the module stays on and the security light on the dash flashes rapidly.

I've confirmed I have 12V on Red, Ground on Black, Ignition on Yellow, and remote start staus on Blue.

Is there anything else i should try on this module? The module was purchased new in December and hasn't been installed in another vehicle.

After dcrypting and back to the car, the red and yellow light keep flashing.. why is that????

I can get through steps 1-12 (though the security light never displays on the dash), and when the ignition is supposed to turn the car on, the dash lights turn on, I hear a crank, but the car never starts. However, I do get the red and yellow lights flashing, so I tried connecting to the PC to use dcryptor, thinking maybe it will turn on after, but still no luck. Does anyone know what the issue is?

I'm using THAR-MAZ1 with the Evo-All and following guide 62681. Everything is plugged in, and the only wiring done is the Lt blue to Lt blue on the 32 pin connector, and the Lt Blue/Black to the red on the 32 pin connector. Am I missing a connection, perhaps an ignition wire?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am currently utilizing the Evo One with my 2017 Ford C-Max Energi SE plug-in hybrid in conjunction with the T-Harness. I have checked wiring, factory reset and re-programmed the Evo one, and ensured the recomended bypass/remote starter settings are properly checked. If I had to guess, I would say that becasue my combustion engine does not start when the vehicle is started, until power is required, that the module considers it a false start and shuts down the vehicle. Any advice would be much appreicated.

And since I'm here, when wiring the evo one into the horn, is the T-Harness(Orange/Black) wire spliced into the existing connection(Brown), or is the (Brown) horn wire being redirected through the module? The installation makes it clear that it appears that the connection is being redirected, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you!

Installed Fortin Evo All to avoid crank walk on cold startups, wired up with VW T-Harness and decrypted adaptor successfully done the damn car won't start pressing 3 times the unlock button of the OEM key. Wires everything per Guide # 102981 for Manual 2016 US spec Golf R, got EVO-VWT1 harness. I tried 64.06 and 64.09 firmware and also dipined D2 to D1 since it only came with yellow/blue and not yellow/green wire. I have installed EVO All with THAR-NIS3 (had to extend the OBD wiring as my car is RHD and the BCM is on the left passenger side.)

Everything worked during install per the instructions including the decrypter (used the Rogue 2016 Push to start as the ref.)

Selected Diesel.

First time the car just cranks and doesn't start(3xlock press) - the (factory) alarm goes off (have to press unlock on remote to stop the alarm)

Second time the car starts (3xlock press) but thats it if i try again it doesn't work(cranks but doesn't start)

I have an EVO All installed with T-Harness in a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid PTS. Everything worked fine till I installed and try to use EVO-START 2. I later noticed that I did not programm the EVO_START 2. I did it and since then it never worked and even the 3x lock remote start stop working.

I also tried to Master Reset. It seems to work while doing it on the module but when I connect the EVO ALL to FLashLink the module is stil programmed. Nothing was reset.

When I start the car, the middle Yellow LED turns on.

'04 Cavalier w/ Evo One - No remote start, other features work

I'll keep this short:

Installed Evo-One with a CarLink ASCL6 in a 2004 Cavalier sedan (factory installed keyless entry). Applicable wires are connected with one caveat... The directions show the white wire of the Evo going to an IGN2, however, after much research and probing, I don't belive this vehicle has one. It does, however, have a brown ACC2 wire (Function 2 was changed to reflect this).

ASCL6 was learned (learnt? whatever) just fine and the app shows battery, location, door status, etc. It also -does- let me lock/unlock, open trunk, and attempt a remote start.

After yet more probing and testing with a test light, I confirmed that my (all the following relate to the 6 pin power connector) red wire receives 12v+ constant, the black is well grounded, and during an attempted start sequence, both the orange and white wires receive 12v+ for a few seconds before shutting off. The pink wire (ignition) receives about half a second of 12v+, and the yellow (starter) gets absolutely nothing.

I have it set to tachless per directions, foot brake 'off' (I probed that wire as well, and it receives 12v+ when pedal is depressed, and 0v otherwise), hood pin is installed but disconnected for the time being (so not grounded, though I tried with it grounded anyway but no dice). Firmware for remote start and bypass is 1.25/70.18 respectively (reccomended versions).

I must confess, I did intially mess up and connected the yellow wire from the 20 pin plug to the yellow wires of the vehicle/6-pin plug. I did fix this (connected to the pink now), but no difference.

Parking lights are hooked up to a standalone LED for install purposes and when attempting to start they (it) turns on, then flashes once. Only once. I've tried multiple back-to-back attempts (mainly when checking which wires were getting power).

Car starts and runs fine with the key. Factory keyfob does what it always it (apparently this isnt a supported vehicle for 3x start... I tried anyway, but figured it wouldn't work).

I did set it up for diesel mode here recently, only to give it a moment from powering accessories to activating the starter (its my wifes car, and she doesnt like 'rushing' it). I saw this mentioned elseware and it doesnt seem like it would have any adverse effects. I mean... Not like it was working in the first place so.......

Anyway, thats where I'm at. Why isnt this Evo One sending power to the starter wire? Thanks for any help!

I have a 2017 Nissan Sentra PTS. I've done the programming and decrypting processes twice now and pressing the button 3 times to start does not work. The security and caution light on the dash are also on. The service number on the program module is 00A07336089. I just rechecked the ground and now the caution light has turned off, nut the security light is staying on.

Was cranking and working fine the first few times I used it. Went to crank it with the remote and all it did was engage the starter and stop. It tried engaging the starter 2-3 more times without pressing anything and still didnt start. I tried cranking it with key and the same thing. It would engage starter and stop. I dont know what would have caused this since it worked the first few times with no problems. Its a 2013 Silverado 2500HD

Ok so not long ago i bought my first evo-all for my truck with a t-harness and intalled/programed everything myself with zero issues and it has been awesome. A few days ago a co-worker came to me and asked me to install the same kit on his truck which just so happened to be the same model and year as my truck so i agreed know it should be a simple deal.

Unfortunatly after the install I have been chasing issue and having problems the constantly. It started with a problem were the truck would intermittently begin to start with the command start and crank for 1 second then suddenly stop with no error lights. I tried to fix this assuming the yellow postive wires connection was bad or loose so I soldered the joint, heat shrinked it and taped it up to make sure it was secure. i tested it after that and had three succesfull starts in a row.

The next morning my coworker came to me and said it did the same thing were it tried to start for 1 second and then stopped. I went back in and varified all the connections and made damn sure my soldered joint was good. I then attempted to reflash the module and reload everything and now when i get to step 8 were you enter the key for the second time and then turn it to run and it should go from red and blue to blue flashing, it just goes to no lights at all. I tried this twice with no success so i continued on and dcrypted the module and tried to start the truck and the module doesnt sense the key.Im at a loss, can you help?

Just finished installing the remote starter kit on my 2019 Silverado 1500 LD. Followed all the instructions and everything went exactly as desicribed in the manual. After programming and reinstalling the RS Module, the truck will not remote start. No LEDs lighting up when I push the lock button 3x as instructed.

Used connection 5, programing 3 in manual. Wires were easy to find, did not use key sense. Believe truck does have a factory alarm (If that matters), it does have a factory keyfob. Programming does what it says it will do. Remote start is a Viper. Everything remote starts fine if I leave the key in the ignition. If I don't, security light blinks and remote start doesnt work. I have the flash link and everything was already updated, and it didn't give me any options to change or adjust anything. Just update.

GWR is connected to the Viper. Only the red light comes on the EVO Key if I remote start it. Is this normal? I'm sure im forgetting something.

Installation and programming went great. Verified firmware with the website info. Using Thar-For1 and flashlink manager for the install. Escape worked several times in a row with the remote start, but as soon as its left off to sit for a few minutes, the remote start doesn't work anymore. No blue light when the lock button is pressed.

Unplugging the 4-PIN Data-link harness and plugging it back in allows the remote start to work, but after a few minutes off it stops responding again.

I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Evo-All CHRT 5 starter worked when I first installed it a couple months back. I performed a hard reset because i thought i programed something wrong due to the security light blinking during remote start and now it wont work.It goes through the programing sequence with no issues. During remote start it works properly unitl it wants to start. I put my meter on the yellow with red wire located on the red plug and there isnt 12 volts when attempting to start. Is this a programing issue or do I have a faulty module? To entertain the idea, i double checked all my connections and everything tests ok on that end. The only smoking gun i can seem to find is that their isnt 12 volts at that yellow with red wire during remote start. I continued to jumper 12 volts to that wire during the remote start sequence and the engine will crank over but not run. It will continue to crank until i remove that wire. Also, if i insert the key during the remote start process and turn it to the on position (without cranking it over) the remote start will work. Hopefully you can shed some light on the situation. Thank you for your time.

installed in 2018, REV 20180406,guide #57711. bypass firmware version 73.(26), program remote starater version 38.2, program bypass option C1

The unit was installed in 2018 and had worked fine through winter 2020/2021. With the cold weather of fall 202, tried to use the unit and get no repsonse.

recently completed key bypass programming procedure and got to the end and all seemed fine.

i have been using the factory remote and the 3x lock feature to operate the remote starter.

the hood pin has never been installed. The yellow wire for auto trans is cut.

1x lock-car locks and blue light flashes on module-parking lights flash

2x lock-car locks again and beeper sounds, blue light flashes on module and parking lights flash

3x lock, car locks again and beeper sounds again, blue lights flashes on module, parking lights flash-then the parking lights flash 1 additional time

(key-to-start) Hooked up the T-Harness and did first module programming, it started fine with the key. Unhooked module and had to start car to go get computer because I forgot it. It started fine again and got me home. After running it through DCryptor program and hooking it back up I tested the remote start, that has worked fine too. But now my key wont start the car, it only turns it on and I can only remote start it. Tripple checked and everything is plugged in all the way and in the right places. What is the issue?

Installed EVO-ALL and T-harness on 2008 dodge avenger. Configured it for standalone per guide #64051, connected green/red wire to purple and yellow to yellow in the T-harness. All other wires just taped back, no hood pin installed. EVO seemed to program correctly. Pressing 3X lock on remote turns on ignition, but car doesnt start. Also will not start with the key. Sets code P0513 - incorrect immobilizer key. I can remove the T-harness and reconnect the ignition plug back stock and the car starts like normal with the key. I tried several different configurations and updated then downgraded the firmware on the EVO, but nothing I did made any difference. It seems like the EVO is not managing the immobilizer function. SN: 001A07 096654. Any ideas?

Hi, So when i try to complete the final step of the programming steps by pressing and holding the program button the blue and red lights temporarily go out and then come back on but car does not start. I have all the wiring correct checked more than 4 times. I have checked the wiring to the module and everything. When i program the keys I did follow a step. when I turned the key to the run postion i waited for the seat belt to chime 3 times and then i'd pull out the key I did this for both keys. I would also like to add that both keys are factory oem. I didnt flash this i bought the modul pre programmed

After spending some time reasearching other possibkle soultions I was able to get the keys to program. I went off a guy who I saw on youtube install the same module I did but he wasnt specific of when he started counting prior to putting the first key in so I started counting after the first seat belt chime but it was to long. For those who are reading this in the future and are still struggling with the programming step.Its not an easy step don't let anyone fool you. It took me nearly 1 1-2 hours to get this to program. An easy tip I learned is soon as your turn the key to the run postion and you hear the first chime starting counting 1 Mississippi 2 Mississppi 3 Mississppi try to finish your count before the third seat belt chime and you should be good to go.
