The fortin remote will replace the keyfob THAR-ONE-MAZ5

Question

This maybe is a silly question, but I'm thinking to install the rf642w remote module into my car, do I have to carry with both keys, or this will replace the original keyfob?
Also, if this is possible, can this new key been detected the same way as the original keyfob (Key Localization System or PEPS) inside the car, and displaying a or an alert message when the key left the car once the car is running?
