Compatibility and Purchase Inquiry for Mini Cooper 2008 S Remote Start Kit

0 votes

Dear Support Team,

I own a 2008 Mini Cooper S. I have already purchased the Fortin EVO-ONE-942 remote start kit.

However, when I took the vehicle to my mechanic for installation, he informed me that a Fortin INT-BMW2 module is also required to complete the setup. Could you please confirm if this is correct for my specific vehicle model?

If the INT-BMW2 is indeed necessary, could you please provide a link or instructions on where to purchase it? I was unable to find a direct purchasing link for this product on your website.

Additionally, if the total cost of all required components exceeds my budget, would I be eligible to return the Fortin EVO-ONE-942 kit I have already purchased?

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Jian Zhang

Hello,

Yes the INT-BMW2 is required, along with giving up a factory key and the flash link updater. For purchasing you can refer to this link: https://fortin.ca/en/where-to-buy/installation/ or source it online through major retailers.

For returns or exchanges you would need to contact your point of purcahse. If purchased directly from www.fortin.ca you would need to email support@fortin.ca with a copy of your order confirmation.

Best regards.

The link you provided does not contain any information regarding online or offline purchasing channels for "INT-BMW2." Please carefully double-check your company's website information.

How can I purchase the "INT-BMW2" exactly? This is very urgent; please provide a prompt response.

Hello,

For purchasing you can refer to this link: https://fortin.ca/en/where-to-buy/installation/

Or try to source one online yourself through major retailers.

Please note Fortin no longer manufactures the INT-BMW2 so whats out in the market is all that is left in terms of stock.

Best regards
