Hello,

Yes, the module would need power, ground and ignition on the yellow wire and will give tracking.

Best regards

Hello,

Yes when adding the device in the app the password is the number 8 six times.

Be sure to be using the evo track application if installing a evo track device.

If installing a evo start device be sure to download and use evo start lte.

Best regards
thx,

I now see the tracker in both app,

The tracker or GPS light / LTE seem not to work, and cant update the GPS location,

I can connect Bluetooth, see if it started, (yellow wire) see the voltage, but no GPS update,
Make sure gps is enabled in the app, its under settings>terminal settings>gps function settings>enable gps service.

Best regards

Hello,

Looking at the screen shot and module details its almost as if the unit is missing either power or ground since it has no voltage read out or the power source its connected to is not strong enough, I would verify these connections.

Also to note, the evo start lte module is NOT water proof.

Best regards

Connection voltage seem ok,

can connect via bluethoot,

I have engine ON and OFF, voltage, maybe temps,

Please try something for me, unplug the device, wait 5 minutes, then re connect it and re test.

Thank you.
did that, same result,

connect bluetooth, go voltage, Engine ON,

but not LTE,

light on GPS flashing slowly,
I see the Blue LTE light when I connect the connector, for a fraction of time,

When it is full connected, only the green light os flashing, (also the red),
I will have to dig into this a bit more and get back to you, thank you for your patience while we try to resolve this.
Can you please try downloading the evo start lte application, log into the app using the same email and password that you use for evo track app and let me know if the gps works on that application.

Thank you.

I have both evo start lte, and evo track,

evo track, was use to add the device,

Having the same issus on both,

When it is full connected, only the green light also flashing, (also the red),

Alrighty, thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
If you want, I can drive by the office in Anjou, with the unit,
Perhaps that will be a viable option, I will get back to you shortly once I have gone over some of the details with one of the engineers.

Thank you for your patience.
Can you please send an email too support@fortin.ca, just refrence this post.

I will forward you the details so you can bring it by Fortin to have a tech look at the module.

Thank you.
