Eva-All modules with PTS

We are a newly forming company developing products for vehicle access and start/stop integrations.

 

We are working on using EVO-ALL on Push-To-Start (PTS) vehicles to execute Start/Stop and Lock/Unlock functions via a hardwired external trigger (MCU/digital input).

Our first test vehicle is a 2020 Honda CR-V (PTS). For this vehicle, we are considering the EVO-ALL module.

 

1) Does the EVO-ALL support engine START/STOP control via an “external trigger / hardwired input”?

   (Either as a toggle input or as separate START and STOP inputs.)

   Additionally, when we perform an engine start through the module, the immobilizer bypass must be handled automatically.

 

2) In the same way, is it possible to trigger door LOCK/UNLOCK and TRUNK OPEN functions via “external inputs” (hardwired MCU control) using EVO-ALL?

 

3) For this vehicle, is the required hardware EVO-ALL + THAR/T-Harness + FlashLink/programming tool?

   Could you please share the exact product part numbers?

 

Also, for vehicles without PTS hardware (basic mechanical ignition with immobilizer), do you offer any modules to add an external Engine Start/Stop button?

Ideally, we are looking for solutions that can be implemented via relays.

 

After successful field tests, we plan to expand to other vehicles (PTS and non-PTS) such as Hyundai/Fiat/Mercedes, and then proceed with volume purchases.

The EVO-ALL cannot remote start this vehicle. It would only offer immobilizer bypass. The EVO-ONE would be required for remote start.

   Additionally, when we perform an engine start through the module, the immobilizer bypass must be handled automatically.

When the EVO-ALL is listed as being "Stand ALone remote starter" compatible, yes an external input is available that could be used to trigger remote start. The EVO-ONE also has this function.

 

2) In the same way, is it possible to trigger door LOCK/UNLOCK and TRUNK OPEN functions via “external inputs” (hardwired MCU control) using EVO-ALL?

EVO-ALL has analog inputs for this but not EVO-ONE.

 

3) For this vehicle, is the required hardware EVO-ALL + THAR/T-Harness + FlashLink/programming tool?

   Could you please share the exact product part numbers?

For REMOTE STARTING, parts required would EVO-ONE & THAR-ONE-HON7. The Flash Link programming tool is required for every installation.

Okay, the situation is becoming much clearer now. Our target vehicles are two units, both Honda CR-V 2016. One model is PTS (Push to Start), and the other is Standard Key with a mechanical ignition.

EVO-ALL supports both models, so at this stage we are considering EVO-ALL. These will of course be for testing purposes.

My question is very specific:

After installing the module in both vehicles using the appropriate T-Harness, for example, to unlock the vehicle, is it sufficient and correct to momentarily pull a pin on the EVO-ALL module (for example pin P13) to ground (negative pulse)?

Do I need to perform any additional actions related to the immobilizer, or does the module already handle everything automatically in the background?

Another example:
If I unlock the doors using, for example, a negative pulse on P13, and then apply a negative pulse on another pin (for example P14) to trigger engine start, will the vehicle start immediately?

Or do I need to individually check conditions such as:
- whether the transmission is in Park,
- whether the trunk is open,
- whether the parking brake is engaged?

Or does the EVO-ALL module already manage and coordinate all of these conditions internally, and only allow the engine to start if the vehicle is in a safe and valid state?

NOTE:
If the parking brake is not engaged, or the vehicle is in a drive gear, the vehicle should not start—this is normal and expected behavior. The same may apply to the trunk; the vehicle should not move with the trunk open.
Once I engage the parking brake and close the trunk, then the engine should be allowed to start.

What I mean is: does EVO-ALL evaluate all these conditions internally and then grant permission to start the engine?

In summary, I only need to be able to do what the original vehicle remote control can do, plus start the engine when the conditions are appropriate (for example, when the parking brake is engaged).

As mentionned earlier, the EVO-ALL DOES NOT offer remote start on this vehicle. Using the EVO-ALL as a Stand Alone remote starter for a 2020 Honda CRV PTS is not available.
