Evo All the car doesn't start

0 votes
Hi. I installed Evo-All on the my Volkswagen Passat B7 2.0TDI  2013 year whith standard OEM key.I used the THAR-VW6 wiring harness. Firmware version 75.40. I trained the module on the car. Then the decryptor cenerated a code , all successful.  But the car won't start with the OEM key fob. The relay in the module clicks , the red light comes on , then the orange light comes on , and the car radio turns on. But the engine doesn't start, and the dashboard doesn't turn on. I connect all the connectors according to the THAR-VW6 instructions.  I didn't connect the wire to the brake pedal ( my car doesn't require pressing the brake to start ) I didn't connect the wires for the start / stop button, as I don't have that button. I used the lock/lock/lock combination to start the engine. Where should I connect the separate yellow wire ( yellow ignition) ?

Hello,

What is the S/N number on the back of the evo?

Thank you.

Please do the following:

- connect the evo to the flash link, click the gear icon in the right coner then click "go to pro mode"

- in pro mode turn off settings protection, then click save options

- return to the vehicle with the evo and perform a master reset: https://cdn.fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf

- return to the pc with the evo and enable the following options, A1 through A10, C1, D1 & D2.

- then re program the evo to the vehicle including re running dcryptor

- test the system

The yellow wire from the t-harness can be connected to the yellow wire on the 20 pin connector of the evo-all.

I did everything as you wrote, end when the decryptor tries to generate a code for me, the following error:

Dcryptor's limit has been reached for this car . Help please...

I have reset the dcryptor limit.
I reset the settings in the module and retrained it in the car, restart my flash manager , but the dcryptor returns the same error.
Disconnect the evo and re connect it, it should be reset now.
Thanks that helped, But the car won't start . I used to hear the relay in the module clicking, but now that doesn't happen. The blue light on the module only blinks three times when I press "lock lock lock " and then nothing  happens. I connected the free yellow and yellow A1 wires.
Verify your options.

You need A1 through A10 on as well as C1 and D1 and D2.

Best regards
Should all these points have  the  value yes ?
Yes.

Options A1 through A10, C1, D1 & D2 should be on.

All other options should be off.

Best regards.
I set everything up as you said. I press the lock lock lock , then the red light comes on , then the orange light, the radio turns on, the turn signals blink twice, then everything goes out, and then the second attempt begins, and the radio turns on again, but the dashboard doesn't turn on. Firmware 75.40 , yellow A1 is connected to yellow ignition.  I didn't connect the hood button.  I also disabled the hood itself in the module settings.
Please turn on A7 and turn off B1 and re test.
That didn't help either. Nothing changed. At the end , the module flashes red three times. The dashboard doesn't turn on. Are there any fuses on the THAR-VW6 wire ?
If you unplug the black 4 pin connector from the tb-vw, then place the key in the ignition but do not turn the key and then initiate remote start, what happens?
Everything is the same.
There is no power coming on dashboard.
Did you connect the 1 pin connector on the 20 pin? https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/92441/EVO-ALL_IG_RTS_BI_VW_PASSAT_2012_KEY_TB_D_92441.pdf

if ignition is not turning on when trying to remote start, I would verify the ignition output on the evo and test it on the vehicle as well.
I connected the free yellow wire from the harness to the 20-pin connector . I contacted it to pin A1 . (This free yellow wire dangles in a pair with the yellow-red wire .) Yellow-red wire which connects to the brake pedal.
Please tell me which contacts should I check? What are their numbers?
I connected the TB-VW THAR-VW6  automatic transmission according to the instructions. I contacted the Yellow Jayne IGNITION to the yellow pin from the A1 output on the 20-pin connector.
I think at this point it will be best for you to phone into the tech line.

When you have the vehicle and module on hand please call in so an agent can go over it with you.

I don't speak English well ((. Did I connect the yellow ignition to the  wrong place?
The yellow wire from the 20 pin connector of the evo can be connected to the loose yellow wire coming off the t-harness labelled "ignition"

Also make sure the black wire with the 1 pin connector on the 2o pin is connected to the 1 pin connector of the t-harness

Best regards
I checked contact A20 leading to BT-VW , a voltage of less than 1 volt appears on it when trying to start the engine from the OEM key fob .
Ignition gets powered through A11 on the 20 pin connector. Make sure this connector was plugged in.
Yes , A11 is connected. I checked A11 when I tried to start the engine, and it showed the same voltage as pin A20 - 0.9 volts. There's no 12 volt signal coming out of the module...
What could be the problem?I currently have firmware 75.40 . Rephrase updating to 75.43 will help?
Yes you can try 75.43, if that does not work then you will need to phone into the tech line for furhter support.
