Request for CAN Wiring Diagram – Start-X Kit (Dodge Challenger 2015–2017)

0 votes

I recently purchased a Start-X remote start kit for my Dodge Challenger 2015–2017 from Amazon. After opening and installing the kit, I discovered that some wires are missing — specifically the CAN bus harness that connects from the OBD-II port (pins 6 and 14) to the module.

I contacted Start-X support, and they kindly offered to either send the missing harness or replace the kit. However, I have already shipped the kit overseas, so returning or receiving replacement parts is unfortunately not a practical option for me.

While researching, I found a Chrysler wiring document that explains the module side (white connector) CAN wiring, which was very helpful. The missing component appears to be a 2-pin CAN connection from the OBD (pins 6 & 14) that transitions into a 5-pin CAN connector going into the module. https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/97651/evo-all_ig_rts_bi_chr6-7-300_2011_pts_b_97651.pdf

I would like to build the missing harness myself, but to do so safely and correctly, I need the wiring diagram or pinout configuration for the module.

Module Serial Number: 001A07 682508

Could you please provide the CAN pinout diagram or technical guidance for this specific module so I can fabricate the harness properly?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hello,

Page 5 of the guide you linked above shows the pin out of the can bus for the 5 pin connector of the evo-all along with the connection pin out at the OBDII port.
