is it ok to tap the low beam wire instead of parking lights?

Hey, I've got a 2015 Mazda 6. Right now my remote starter is hooked to the parking lights at the stalk. Can I just swap that over to the low beam wire instead so the headlights come on when I start it? Anything I should watch out for?
