evo x not program/flash the lights according to the instructions for my car?

I have a Thar-x-sub5 for a 2022 subaru wrx mt standard key. I set it up with the flashlink manager (correctly I hope but could be the problem). I put in the t harness according to the instructions. then start to program it to the car according to the instructions. attached to the main plug while holding the button, released on the blue light, it stays solid blue, attach remaining plugs, insert key, turn to run/on, then press and release the program button, should flash red rapidly but flashes between red and yellow. what am i missing or doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.

PLease do the following

1. Reset the EVO-X

2. Reconnect to the Flash Link and and click on "Load Suggested Options"

3. Connect your TB-X to the Flash Link and update the TB-X

 

Once that is done, attempt programming again. 

 

To reset the EVO-X

1. Press and Hold the programming while inserting power.
2. Release when the LED is YELLOW
3. Press and Hold programming again until the 3 LED start to alternate

Ok, I did those three steps, with no new results. I reset the evo x, loaded suggested options, and updated the tb-x to 3.01 I believe. Then tried to program again based on the instructions I mentioned earlier and again it flashes alternating red and yellow at the step it should flash the red light rapidly. In the instructions it states for the clutch wire "not connected, isolate" is it supposed to be attached to the clutch signal wire? Light green wire on the top of the clutch pedal plug.

RED/YELLOW is a diagnostic that the vehicle is not responding to information sent on CAN2. Verify the harness, disconnect/reconnect everything ensuring no pins are bent. CAN2 is the orange/brown and orange/green from the 5-pin white connector.

You may want to also verify that the correct TB-X 4 pin connector is connected to the TB-X aswell. Depending on if the vehicle is in the US or Canada, you need to use either TB-X-A or TB-X-B.

Ok I will unplug everything and check all the pins, I am using the tb-x Alpha plug being that it is a US vehicle. I'll take a good look at the can2 wiring

Nothing, I couldn't see anything wrong with wiring but I'm about to give up on this one and order another to see if it is the same results and if so, than I guess it wasn't meant to be

No issues with the wires and I even bought a second module, harness and tb-x but got the same results. Any other suggestions? Should the Clutch wire be hooked up or not to the wire on the top of the clutch pedal?

Also would it make a difference if the car is tuned or not?

Although for Subaru I cannot confirm that, it does play a factor on VW and it's a similar way of programming. Any tuning needs to be "undone" prior.
