Hello,

As previously mentioned (https://www.wirecolor.com/en/qa/139514/noparkinglightsduringremotestart) please flash back to the firmware you were using initially before you had any lighting issues. That firmware was 88.20. Then re program the unit to the vehicle.

Do I need to perform a factory reset or just re program the unit?

You can reset it if you like but it is not mandatory, if you do reset it you will need to re enable the vehicle specific options in the bypass.

This reset is done in the vehicle, In your case since you have an evo one plug in the main 6 pin connector while holding down the programming button.
