evonone toy16 in 2024 Tacoma Manual transmission. when the truck sits for about 10 mins it will not start remotely.

Question

i installed this evo one back in Nov. of 2025. when i originally looked into installing the remote starter i asked tech support if the evo one could do a 24 tacoma manual trans. and was told it was no problem. now when i look up the vehicle it shows that the evoone will only work on an automatic transmission for this application.

is there a known issue with the firmware for this vehicle for manual transmission?

Hello,

There have been reports of the hvac operation not working as intended on manual transmission trims only when remote started. They truck will still remote start however the blower does not push any air.

Until this is addressed by Fortin engineering only the Automatic tranmission trim is currently being supported.
