Evo-NIST1 - My Infiniti QX70 2016 only starts with the lock on; unlocking it only locks it.

I thought the remote start was wired incorrectly until I changed the remote start sequence to lock, unlock, lock. After that, the car starts, but to my surprise, I can't unlock the doors when the car is running, and when I try to open a door with the physical key, the car shuts off. If I change the configuration to just 3x lock, nothing happens. Is something wrong with my module?

The serial number is: 001A07 792871

Can someone tell me the correct options to select? Thanks

Hello,

Were is the vehicle located? Please provide the vin number to the vehicle.

The only time I see this issue arise with a evo-nist1 type installation is on vehicles in over seas markets as they are deisnged by the manufacturer to not allow the OEM remote to function once remote started.

The car shuts off when you open it with the physical key because the evo needs to see a unlock signal/command to allow the engine to stay running, unlocking it with the key in the door does not provide this signal thus resulting in the evo turning off the car for saftey reasons.

Yes, you will need to use an RF kit to lock/unlock the vehicle while it is remote started.

I'm in Spain. Is it possible to modify any settings in the car to make it think it's in the American market? What exactly limits remote start in my market? Thanks

I will look into seeing if evo start lte is available in Spain and get back to you.

To my knowledge I am not aware of any changes you can make to the vehicle to force the OEM remote to work once remote started.

At this time evo start lte is not offered in Spain, for that reason an RF kit would be the other option available.

Is there a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi module compatible with my Fotin module? I don't want to carry any remote controls other than my original key. Thanks.
