Hello,

What is the year, make, model and trim of the vehicle in question?

What are you installing in the vehicle?

Best regards

2015 infiniti Q50 base and im installing a evo-one with a thar-nis4 t-harness.

I was wounder if it was 100% need to tap the 15 pin white connector for 12v power and ground.

Could I use something like a posi-tap or run a fuse tap and a ground chassis?
You dont have to go there if you dont want, you could also go to pin 16 of the OBD-II connector for 12v and pin 4 of the OBD-II connector for ground.

Fortin does not recommend using t-taps for any connections, simple military splice is best.

You can use an inline fuse holder on the 12v if you wish, must be fused at 7.5A.

Best regards
Would it be okay to use a obd II splitter and tap in to that?
Yeah that would be fine as long as the module has a solid 12v and ground and the 12v is fused at 7.5A max.
