The coolant does not heat up during remote starting.

Hello. I installed an Evo-One on a 2014 Vezel (selecting the 2016 HR-V setting). It was a hybrid vehicle. I selected option D4 in the settings. Do I also need to enable option "26-2" under the "remote start" settings? The client called to say that the engine coolant doesn't heat up during remote start, and when he drives off after remote starting, the blue "cold engine" light remains on. Why do we cut the IGN2 wire?

Hello,

No option 26 is not ndeeded simply turn on option D4.

The ignition cut is for the OEM remote to work once remote started.

It is the vehicles computer not the evo that will decide when the gas engine turns on.

Best regards

I called the client and advised him to leave the heater on beforehand... and then start the engine remotely. He checked and said everything is fine now.
